Let me clear something up. Galleon, Man o War, 1st Rate and SotL all refer to the same ship. This one. I call it a 1st Rate because last I counted it had 100 guns, but SotL is still a valid name, Man o War just means a warship and in the game its called a Galleon

Galleons and Ships of the Line aren't the same. Galleons were mainly cargo vessels, but more armed than most merchant ships. Ships of the Line look like the picture Roger posted. They were much more heavily armed and armored. At least, that's what I've read so far from google.

that mod only let you access what is already in the game files.. it let you spawn ships already in... not like they added them... and that was also in demo.. when there was a cheat command summon list with that mod yes but those ships are from the ingame files..

In six months, the Ashlands are supposed to be released. I really hope that during this time, additional content will be added to the game as well—such as ship customization or even completely new ships. Six months is a very long time, and the developers need to keep players engaged during that period.

I’m saying this mainly because I’m almost 100% done myself: I have all ships in every variant, and even though I love the game, it’s slowly starting to feel a bit boring. On top of that, I’ve already built a huge base.

I know that new building materials were added today, but if the updates continue to focus only on building options, it might become difficult to keep players interested in the long run.

I’m definitely curious to see what happens and hope the developers make the right moves.

No, the air resistance will mean it does not go as far as a solid ball weighing the same. If there are 2 balls with a chain in the barrel at once, that will weigh more and not go as far either.

My clan asked me if I had noticed the plagued wood amounts and wondered what the percentage was.

I cleared 3 large plagued areas for wood.
Out of 4,711 I wood in total only got 660 plagued wood.
That is like 14%
I am not sure that is a fair amount due to the type of area.
The risk/reward really sucks.

I dunno what you're talking about, I can clear out 3-4 enemies with Musket headshots before they can even get to me, and pistols are fantastic for softening up enemies during boarding.

kiting enemies with guns in this game is not a good idea since you can't run while actively reloading unless of course you switch weapon and let it load passively. Why don't just build a quick platform to shoot from since mobs can't jump or climb?

you can always move the bonfire, so dont worry too too much about it - just know that any chests/decor that ends up outside the radius wont be considered part of the base for shared storage and comfort lvl

you can replace your bonfire as much as you want to. it's just used for decorating, rested buffs, crafting and building from chests and health regen :)

Have to place bonfire so that have access to building mats in boxes. I moved mine around part way thru as at one point the height I was going for prevented access to boxes. There is an above bondfire and below bonfire area as well for access to boxes
