So set bonuses are at 2 piece and 4 peice right now. With 5 pieces of primary gear, it makes it that no matter what you have a piece of armor that's not contributing any stats, other than the armor value.

I do feel like it is interesting in the start of the game, but come late game it is very odd to still be having to go scavange. maybe they could add iron into the produce you can purchase at the stalls. so that way you can make everything you need just by buying it and you don't really have to spend any time on it.
I did find it very curios iron or copper isn't available for sale with the goods trader.

PVP in survival games is a trolls paradise. Just away to justify Theft as a game mechanic. I miss the old days when you lobbied up to play pvp games. I highly doubt PvP is coming simply because of the mod support. On Nexus right now are console mods and other things that allow for the full unlocking of and mass production of high tier stuff.

So... PVP loses the incentive of loss since you can load back your single player world, restock since stuff carries over, and you've lost nothing.

Only a fully separate PVP mode with no inventory carry over would be viable I think.

Hey, I’ve run into a rather odd bug/softlock. when fighting the unsinkable, it ran aground on a nearby island as I got it low enough to board, and I cannot board it with the message “boarding blocked by an obstacle”.
I’ve spent the last hour digging out around the ship, it didn’t help at all. I’m now just softlocked on the main quest line and cannot progress further. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this I’d be glad to hear them.

Honestly speaking, to have a "suggestions" chat would be a fantastic place, so I think you could at least suggest it)))
To share my expectations, I would love to have those below

1. More use in defense structures and position on the map - i.e protecting main base from BB pirates raid (as mentioned in one of the intro quests) - would make a great difference in how people look at building, and use of old/outdated ships as defence structures
2. Fraction wars and fraction outposts - i.e like having some small camps, which can be used as free teleport/trading spot if under control of "friendly" fraction and fighting for it
   Also fractions wars may unlock fraction gear tree, which is exclusive and you can have only one like per walkthrough
3. Fortress raids and fights - i.e like having BB fortresses to demolish, so you can have naval batlle and then ground one for some super rare fraction/biome loot and maybe have a sea shortcut or something like that (or forced to make a round instead until cleared)
4. Caravans - like making use of your old/outdated ships to constantly send to trade for some variable loot, or be a part of it, or raid other fraction's caravans

its a issue with the way lighting is handled more then anything if you watch your fps after lighting a base fps drops a lot (my base alone drops me about 20 fps combine that with 14 other bases and it is not great)

Everyone loves the Rapier of a thousand cuts, but hear me out, Duelist Greatsword is my go-to weapon, parry for bonus damage up to 30% and then each parry after you get 10% hp back (when ascended the first time), I'm not only blocking damage, breaking their posture, but also constantly healing myself, and the power attack stab has amazing range

when attacking a ship that is over your lvl, I find taking advantage of your ability to leave the fight whilst the NPCs cant is key
jump overboard when needed, heal on your boat if needed, swim to the back of the ship, "climb" aboard and start the fight again

I'm rocking the same talents for my greatsword too, if I get hit, I can get temporal hp back real fast by hitting multiple enemies with a slash, on top of the 10% hp for parry, it's insanely survivable
