Speaking as someone who's dealt with Nitrado based servers previously;

You may need to go into Nitrado's systems to get to the settings to lower it. And given the game is very new, they may not have interfaces for it, so you may be working with a line based .ini or similar type file.

Beyond that, I can't give you much help, you'll need to find someone who is more familiar with Windrose's specific server hosting inside of Nitrado.

(And for that, I wish you all the luck. I hate Nitrado hosting with a passion that could drop Black Beard in one hit.)

Some nice but small changes I would make to the game to make things a bit smoother are; 1. Being able to sell from your ship's inventory if you're close enough to the dock. 2. The build menu needs to let you move built objects and copy ones to build elsewhere. 3. More shanties please, also the crew doesn't need to stop singing when you release the wheel while roaming the deck at sea, combat shanties would be welcome as well. 4. Add whaling and big game fishing. That's pretty much it. Optional to add roaming Black Beard Patrols to larger islands or other enemy types.

Anyone else playing Cutlass + Blunderbus? I'm running Conquistador for the Bulwark effect. I feel this would be a great combo against bosses. the Cutlass has a stacking Damage modifier. The blunderbus already hits like a Truck. Nearly doubling the Damage(blue Cutlass maxes at 9 stacks I believe) Get your stacks and then bust out the Shotty. Rinse Repeat.

you have basically no stamina when you start. But once you got talents and stats to boost stamina it helps alot.

the only real issue with the combat in the game is the RNG aspect of

sometimes when you hit the guy he will stagger, the other times he just wont stagger and hit you through your attack despite you hitting first and its just a "haha funny i get free hit". its ignorable in a 1v1 or 1v2 but the moment it gets to a 1v3+ it gets absurd and can be the difference between just getting stunlocked to death or winning

Since you can spam block, you'll either block or parry an attack, basically no inbetween unless your shields get cracked. You can also parry very early, almost as soon as you see the enemy prepare an attack.
