My concern is that if they release Windrose after GTA6, they won't get the players they're looking for and will see the game as a failure, deleting it or letting it die. This has happened to many games that are released right after a highly anticipated game and end up being deleted because they don't attract players. This worries me a lot because Windrose shows a lot of promise and I want it to be successful.😭

for pirate kind of games there is definitely a huge gap... there just hasn't anything since black flag that has got my attention. But gotta keep in mind that it's a mix between survival/land base building and naval combat, so it's pretty likely it will attract people who enjoy games like Valheim and such survival games

Sadly, but it's gonna be a little bit of a way before they actually release it fully best estimate. Guess, usually when games are like this usually 6 months to a year, and that's if they have all their ducks in a row, if not 2 to 3 years. The According to the demo with my prediction, I would put it in the 6th month to a year ideal. The demo was pretty good and smooth, and if they have a lot more content already made already and they're just finishing up the first part of it, we should get at least an alpha. I would switch from Windows, but I would pretty much have to rebuild my setup from scratch because I have an ASUS FX505D with a 2060. The internal SSD is only 500GB, so not nearly big enough for my needs, so I also have a WD Black 4TB HDD for most of digital games, including Windrose. Demo will run until Early Access and demo is ruffly only about 5% of what will be in Early Access. Exploreable area of Archipelago in demo is only about 2.5% of what will be in Early Access. As far as price and packages, that will most likely follow Early Access Release info.

only 3 for the demo. Demo is a completely different client than the Early Access.

It is simply a taste of the basics.

for now in the demo yes, the three. it IS possible to get past that restriction, but there really is no reason to do it, the "backdrop islands" are barren. but here are some screenshots i took to show you. some trees and a few rocks. maybe a banana if youre lucky. no ore at all. no secrets. no mobs. nothing.

Demo will run until Early Access and demo is ruffly only about 5% of what will be in Early Access. Exploreable area of Archipelago in demo is only about 2.5% of what will be in Early Access. Early Access will be announced in the #│announcements when it is time. See the latest post here #│announcements message from Yar_Master. As far as price and packages, that will most likely follow Early Access Release info.

Also, characters, items and buildings will not transfer to the Early Access, it is part of the demo – different client, different game builds. So enjoy playing the demo for now until that time 🙂

Also Those areas may not even be in the actual game - can be completely different 🙂
