Boarding can be tricky for the first time due to the tight spaces and I died a lot when I first did it. Tip would be to let your crew board first and you can pick a few targets off with your musket from your ship. Once you board pick your battles carefully due to the tight areas of the boat and if you do become overwhelmed then just jump back your boat, heal and then head back into the action.

Obviously when the game comes out you will be able to upgrade your crew to make it easier.

something I noticed, its that the ketch as a ship probably haas too many crew to fight for its size, but also once you get decent gear, you destroy those pirates fairly quickly, so I think they just need to choose wisely how many pirates are on each ship type

The problem I have with this game, is the amount of content and assets used, including items and even maps that aren't avaiable

Some items I can't use or even access, Like planks, Cargo, there is suppose to be other maps and stuff, and theres also a "Boss" in each zone.

Hell, give us ship-centric building materials for walls and ceilings to really get custom and build up from scratch.

its very very impressive, like it feels so complete.

You guys have done an amazing job with the art, the style, the gameplay, the graphics and performance, to even combat and building, and everything. It is probably my most favourite demo of any video game.

@dapper dawn I've just gone and repaired the ship, rescued the crew, built the shipwrights workshop and cannons which gave me the quest update to build the wharf. Wharf is built with no problems. Are you certain you've done each of those steps?

The demo is the demo until Release as far as we know. The content is on backend of what the demo can't get to. reason some of the content like Gunpowder recipe is not accessible, or station upgrades, farming, etc. Those things are tied to either quest, content, loot locations, etc. that are not in the demo. Would break the demo to turn systems on that are attached to other parts of the game. So you'll have to wait until Early Access. The demo will be up until that time 🙂
