you'll get more - theres places to loot it at pirate camps and those loot spots respawn, pirates also drop gunpowder, and you'll get some by exploring and looting it.

Am I the only one that is having issues with co-op. Me & a friend tried to start out a world. Where I started out as host. He disconnects like 8 seconds after joining. Then he tried being host, and then it happnened for me. It's like anyone who is not host gets a timeout.

once U got proper armor you survive more, remember you can parry their stuff! it's supposed to be a little harder at first, just set up a camp next to some and get the timing down first before attacking, look at the patterns. and don't forget, you can lock on with the "T" key

Thermal paste is typically on your CPU and connected to some form of cooling mechanism whether it be liquid cooling, fans, heat sink, etc. Without it or if it's worn off it's not helping prevent the heat from building up. Airflow in general does help as well - make sure your PC isn't sitting on a floor (or worse, a carpet), against a wall, or with a cat on top of it (it's cozy up there) which can prevent air flow, and two of these things will allow for a lot of dust/hair/etc to get in which blocks air flow and will make more heat build up. Also make sure the screens over your fans aren't coated in dust, that's an easy fix.

Everyone that buys the game will get the Early Access - NO ETA on when that will happen, though we expect it this year and NO price points on package cost as we know we will find that out when they announce it.

well in one the older trailer fishing was to be in game, fish does go into some recipes, however the demo doesn't have fishing or farming - which farming is a big thing in the actual game and a lot of recipes, etc.

Return to Moria has a lot of limitations as to where you can explore and most of the areas you can't dig unless it is one spot. Windrose is more like how Valheim works, the digging, raising up of land , smoothing is like it is in Valheim

Well it's UE5 so nothing to wonder about. Maybe check frametimes. In my experience there it is not 'possible' to get 120FPS without really cutting the Quality Settings (console commands) in UE5 Survivalcrafr Games.

Lifehack - digging under any item destroys it permanently. You can throw all the stuff you don't need on the ground and then just dig once...

is there any way to change the ship controls keybindings to be the same as the ones we chose for movement? they are both set to WASD by default but when you change the movement keys to something else and then try to make the ship controls match it won't let you. it tells you that you have to remove the movement binding. i checked AppData\Local\R5\Saved\Config\Windows but there's only vid stuff, no keybinds.

Me and my friend figured it out how to share the word when he goes offline. The save file for the world is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Windrose Demo\R5\Saved\RocksDB\0.7.0\Worlds you copy the folder with the ID of the world and give it to your friend. PVP was removed awhile back (shelved - not removed entirely) due to overwhelming feedback and it also allowed the core game to get done faster. There is a strong possibility when the dedicated servers come online that pvp may be in the settings and possibly larger number of players. But definitely nothing in demo for pvp.

We don't yet know for certain what pvp options will be available - we are waiting for a definite answer on that once dedicated come out to what extent our options are - but pvp definitely will not be in the pve portion unless there is a way for the host to turn it on at this time. not saying they won't revisit it after the core game done as another option.

I would personally like to see it as an option to turn on or off if you wanted a pvp area for a group of players.

ok originally we could stay online with the alpha test - friends could join and play even if you went offline. that is no longer the case, especially with the numbers growing. Now the servers are based on when host is online. however there will be dedicated servers available after Early access that people can get to host their own servers for people to persistantly join. It's those servers we referring to with options to change settings, etc. We do not have any idea to what extent those setting will be at this time. We can only wish and hope : So feedback helps 😉

Havent gotten too far into the gear tier progression, but I hope they allow for some visual variant options in the outfits. Its always lame in survival games where all the players are wearing the same matching outfits.

Personally I'm also all for a shop for cosmetics, skins, furniture , building packs, etc. but that is just me. I love supporting the game. However, the biggest issue with skins, cosmetics, deco - each piece needs an artist to work with it, then you need the different devs in their different areas to make sure each piece works in game with their mechanics or design without issue. Its very time consuming and can be costly. So Whether that becomes a thing or not depends on The Dev team, their goals and time constraints, funding - which also comes down to the community feedback and whether the investment in resources and time is worth the risk to provide that.

We had much more available to us in the Last Alpha, many tiers of upgrades, gears, materials, gear sets, etc. Full building sets, 13 islands instead of 3, no sailing restrictions. We also have not played the new biomes that have been added in, or the additional hidden content, building pieces, gear sets, recipes, etc. so much we have to look forward to in the Early Access. the Demo is just that a demo - it is intended to be minimal.
