for sub, it doesnt matter too much. in cds you will pretty much never be at 6, youll always find yourself on 7. outside cds finishing on 6 or 7 is pretty much the same.

more generally, the rule is due to overcapping cp (which is hard on sub). if outlaw presses a builder on 6cp there is a high chance they will waste cp to overcap, which is quite bad since cp scales linearly (but pressing finishers at low cp is wasting gcds)

not usually due to energy moreso to overcap cps

Until I realize and the button press goes through it's pretty much 1 second
