e.g. tanks are getting so good because the population count is going down
making sure tank players feel too good gives more incentive to play tank

I think the biggest thing with tanking (at least for raiding) is that, relative to the other roles, it's normally less engaging to play and just centers on, "do I have the boss in the right spot, am I using defensive properly" and then filling out other niche mechanic roles which is a deterrent to many players trying it out

the best way to use cold blood is to not talent into it, but if you are talented into it because a demon took control of your game and is forcing you is just to slam on cooldown. The extra combo points from a mutilate are generally about as worth it as holding it for a 5cp envenom would be
it's technically more value to use it on a 6cp envenom but you'd lose a lot of casts forcing yourself to wait for it
especially with kingsbane and double shiv and all that, shiv is basically on a 1 min timer which just simply doesn't line up

depends on your perspective, and how much other classes are changing? idk if theres more valid PI targets with changed set bonuses, for example
but the goal is always to keep things somewhat balanced for raid performance, so its unlikely we're gonna be any good in m+ still, and might end up being middle of the pack to scratching the upper third in raid
lots of old trinkets returning, old set bonuses for other classes etc, think its a bit too early to tell what the entire field of dps specs will look like with the higher itemlevel etc. as well
