So, whenever a new optimization gets pushed into the simulationcraft, it will appear in the sims instantly if you use "latest". But it's very prone to mistakes because someone might push a change that breaks something, so using latest is a risky thing.

Nightly however is something that gets updated every day, so it's less prone to mistakes but still quite up to par.

Weekly is just bad and you should avoid it honestly.
