It depends on if the move hits really high or not. For most moves where they don't hit high, it needs 3 dodge frames to be jumpable. I've seen some moves that can't be jumped because they hit high and have 4-6 dodge frames, but that's a very specific circumstance

Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST remove this for ranked or you will get an error when queuing. Don't get this confused with the EAC bugs.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit OS or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.
IF EAC isn't there: go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that.
Note: External Antiviruses must also have exceptions made (norton, avast, etc).

- Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac > try reopening the game as normal

alright, well because you live together with your parents or other family members, i guess its indeed a bandwidth issue. If any other family member is downloading a lot, it can cause loads of lag. Even streaming music may affect your connection and can cause packet loss.

its now very difficult to get consistent combos (i main katars/ragnir), this mainly affected dair and dlight and i cannot perform halfpipe consistently anymore because of this

i have tried the turning off easy anticheat and framefixunbounded and this hasnt helped
i have tried reinstalling brawlhalla and it hasnt helped

i play on keyboard/gaming laptop and it isnt a hardware issue because all other games work perfectly fine, and typing in general is still as normal with 0 input lag

this isn't an internet problem as it has occurred in offline training room as well as online

only deduction must be that it is a software issue

help would be appreciated as i havent played the game the entire patch because of this

Do you have techtest enabled? If it's on then try disabling that.
And you did mention playing on a gaming laptop then i can give you these launch option triggers (remove -broadcaster if you want Clan names to be visible)

you can remove -high as while it is a valid launch option its only for valve games (just change priority in task manager)

pretty sure you need techtest for framefix/framefixunbounded to work as well

When on ledge, you can jump three times right? Only sometimes however, when I jump then input an attack immediately after, I am only able to jump once more. If I slowly, one by one do the following inputs:
"jump --> dair --> jump -->",

Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST remove this for ranked or you will get an error when queuing. Don't get this confused with the EAC bugs.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit OS or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.
IF EAC isn't there: go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that.
Note: External Antiviruses must also have exceptions made (norton, avast, etc).

- Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac > try reopening the game as normal

type firewall into windows search > click firewall & network protection > click "allow an app through the firewall" > scroll down and look for brawlhalla > ensure both boxes (public, private) are ticked.
if the boxes aren't ticked press change settings and tick them
if brawlhalla isn't there press change settings > allow another app... > browse > navigate to your brawlhalla folder (usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla) > double click brawlhalla.exe > add > tick both boxes for the newly added brawlhalla

(right) > select "port" > next > TCP > specific local ports > enter 23000-24000 into the box next to specific ports > next > allow the connection > next > (ensure all 3 are ticked) next > call it brawlhalla 23k24k (or whatever you like)

then do the same process starting from "new rule..." again where the only thing you change is set it to UDP under "protocol and ports" part

then do that process AGAIN but for ports 33000-34000 (under specific local ports in the protocol and ports section) for both TCP and UDP

there is dashjumping, where you dash and then jump, and djff (dashjump fastfalling) where you dashjump and then fastfall.

Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST remove this for ranked or you will get an error when queuing. Don't get this confused with the EAC bugs.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit OS or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.
IF EAC isn't there: go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that.
Note: External Antiviruses must also have exceptions made (norton, avast, etc).

- Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac > try reopening the game as normal
