beating spammers:

1. improve your movement. this will allow you to evade their attacks better
2. learn the spacing. knowing where moves hit will help you not get hit
3. jump. many "spam" sigs dont hit in the air
4. dodge
5. weapon throw. that interrupts sigs
6. stop walking directly towards them
7. change approaches. approaching the same way will cause you to get hit the same way

it depends, but lance at levels lower than diamond i would say, relies a lot on aerials, so try not to jump a lot, and when you do jump, jump higher than just 1 jump height

of course that is not a counter to ALL lance players but it's a common way you get caught in like, gold orsilver

if you touch the ground after 75 frames of cooldown has passed, you get your dodge back
this "touch ground to reduce cooldown" effect does not affect gravity cancels

Yes dlight is a good combo starter, but it really shouldn't be your main because that's too pridictable. Dlight and nair are good for setting up combos and slight, and nlight are good for setting up strings
