If you're getting an error related to "easy anti cheat", add the -noeac launch option in Steam -> Brawlhalla -> Settings -> Properties:

I have played considerably less hours but look at it this way, think of ranked as a way to challenge what you've learnt, and a way to learn more. If you win you'll know what worked, if you lose you acquire a FREE freakin replay of the person to watch and replicate the opponents method, so you can steal his stuff!! Some of the best ways I have learnt is through watching replays of cool shit the opponents do, you never really lose.

ensure your aimup and jump buttons are separated to follow this guide effectively

first way is more inconsistent than the second

dlight > jump > cd > nair

if the dlight is gc-ed (gravity cancelled), you do not need to jump
the cd (chase dodge) is horizontal
this is a true combo on any dexterity

second and better way to dlight nair is the buffer version

dlight > buffer cd > nair

you buffer the cd by jumping in the first few frames of the cd emitting
the timing for this is very percise and will take a lot of practice

Think about it; if you lose 50 games and then win 50 games you'll be approximately the same rank you were at before and you've got the same problem. Sure losing deliberately and then winning would be faster because you can jump off to lose but it's kinda pointless, the time you spend losing that many games would be longer than it would take to get the wins legitimately, not to mention how boring it would be

if you lose to someone way lower than you youll lose a lot 20+
if u win against someone way higher than you youll also gain a lot 20+
if the elo is similar then its close to 16
