Hey Does anyone know if there’s some special technique I should be doing for chaining attacks in combos so that the attacks occur closer in succession? I’m trying to do dair into nlight on lance and there should be only 1 dodge window but I’m having some consistency problems, sometimes I get 2, 3, 4, even as high as 7 or 8 dodge windows which obviously isn’t gonna fly

@stark swan I just confirmed in training mode that it is a timing issue not a spacing issue I did the combo twice the first time there was a dodge window of 3 and I counted 20 frames in between the last frame the hurtbox of the dair was active and the first frame the hurtbox of the nlight was active then I did the same with a combo I got 1 dodge frame on and counted only 18 frames

Also the nlight doesn’t have a spacing issue as long as all three attacks hit, the first hurtbox simply appears at its destination in one frame it doesn’t travel forwards across multiple frames

So ig I just need to work on timing more

For anyone else that’s having this timing problem I found that doing a 2 tap really upped my consistency, the first tap for when u think u should tap to get perfect timing and the second tap quickly afterwards in case the first tap was too soon

Bow ssig and nsig both send the same distance but take some practice learning the spacing for. Hammer ssig I rarely use but it has a huge hitbox where she lands, and nsig you need to learn the hit boxes for because the animation is quite deceiving

Well a good way to improve is by fighting people better than you it’s how you improve and you might see something they do in a string that’ll make you want to learn it and practice doing it and figuring it out which will make you a better player there is also the reply system which allows you to see what went wrong and maybe you can learn a thing or two by watching the person who beat you those tools allow you to hone and improve your skills

Also brawlhalla will most likely not add sbm as it’s a fighting game and the best way to improve in a fighting game is to play better people
