I just switched to keyboard today from controller. Relearning movement is a lot harder than I thought and my left forearm is cramping up from using movement keys.

Anyone got any advice on relearning? Combos wise I seem to have it down but movement is a lot harder for me. I cant seem to jump fast fall as good as I can on controller.

I have the following settings altered a little from standard as this is most comfortable for me. Did anyone else transition from a controller?

W - aim up
A+D - left & right
S - aim down & drop
H - throw

J - light attack
i - Heavy
O - dodge

ok so i just played a ranked match wit hthis as my controls and i 3 stocked someone lol. tbh its fairly comfortable but my dodge was binded to both O and shift and i did notice myself using shiftr more as it was easier for my brain to have movement left side and attacking right side. u should try it out. i also did notice less input lag as you guys pointed out and i understand ur decision of no mouse now. thank u for enlightening me. id say these are some solid keybinds

I'd say it's a bit of both. I have more skill with a controller but I have the same knowledge of how to play when using keyboard just less experience with it. So with keyboard yeah I have less skill with a keyboard but the same overall brawlhalla knowledge. The only factor that changed were the controls

try to memorize which moves have a lot of end lag and which don't. end lag will let you know how easy it will be able to punish

some moves with low end lag are hard to punish and most of the time, not worth punishing
