Dair is a pretty good approach tool and you can bounce it as well. Weapon throw pickup into Neutral can be decent as well. I don't play a load of orb but it's what I use.

in most cases, it's best to pick the stance that reduces dex, but there's excepctions (usually legends that are low on a certain non dex stat)

Auto comboing is a built-in mechanic in some other fighters (like dbfz or persona 4 arena) that basically allows for you to press the same button over and over again ( Button mash essentially) and get a full combo out of it. In this game, if someone say a weapon is auto comboing it means they think the weapons combos are too easy and the "weapon plays itself"

But it's really just a skill issue on their part 🤷‍♂️

a lot of the ways in which you improve in brawlhalla is through adding seemingly unintuitive elements to your gameplay. the best way to learn these is through guides and tutorials on youtube since the people who make those are experienced

i haven't been doing it long enough to see results, but i just google "brawlhalla [weapon] guide" and watch the video, then practice the strings it shows me on training dummies

when im comfortable with those i start making the dummy dodge, then practice on bots -> practice on real players

for example i spent quite a while today just pressing nlight nair on scythe until i could actually land it every time on a stationary target

it just tends to be less spam and more smarter playing but they still have a lot of bad habits you can abuse like dodges, recovering to stage, approaches, etc

have a look at how some pros do it

think about what your opponent does offstage and read it, most people esp in gold will come back to stage the same way using their movement options in the same order

thats a good idea coaching can definitely help

Many ways to improve btw. One is to just grab a friend or someone, go to a custom lobby, put any of the side game modes like brawl ball and fight for 30 minutes. Just fight, dont think about it too much. It helps you to get more comfortable with the overalls. Next is movement. Movement is honestly the key on how to improve and to that i just generally recommend going to youtube and find a guy or go to brawl league discord and ask someone to run you through the important areas on how you improve on that regard.

it's not the eu/use servers being good. it's sea servers being wacky as usual
