I would experiment with other weapons before buying another sword legend. If nothing strikes your interest match your favorite weapons and see if you like that legend.

It's personal preference but I'd look into Hatorri, she's pretty easy to pick up and should be somewhat cheap

Right! She's fast, has good sigs, and is reliable. She has two great weapons and if sword is a bit too difficult, spear is a wonderful and easy fallback.

As for the sig spam, you'll get used to dodging them over time. It's really hard starting off but you'll get the hang of it.
