each weapon has different true combos that are applicable for it i wouldn't really pick a legend because they have a lot of them, since you're probably going to want to do the optimal ones for that situation most of the time anyway

There is no correct answer. Mix up your dodges. The issue vs scythe is if your dodge patterns are obvious they will seem to always have the correct answer. Scythe punishes people who fall into patterns and don't adapt to change them quickly.
