its not instant you're just bad, the key to having an easier time punishing sigs is to space properly and position yourself so you can actually punish them, instead of being on the other side of the map > dashing to punish > then getting hit because you took 10years to punish. if you dont want to waste your time then dont, but stop using this channel for a "i just want to vent and argue with people 1000 elo higher than me" instead of actually accepting the help

idk what this means but rollbacks are where you hit someone and then it kinda reverses/rolls back to before because it didn't actually hit due to the nature of online and lag being intrinsic to it

i believe the sound affects when it doesn't look like it hits is just the same as a graphical rollback which i explained above

I used to play on a very slow laptop. The kind that takes 5 mins to turn on. Brawlhalla had times of lagging but ran smoothly for the most part. Now I got a new one, which is better in every way imaginable but there's lag every single game for some reason and that's been the case for 3 weeks. Most Youtube guides get me to download a booster app that doesn't even work. There's no difference on my Wi-Fi and the only one between the computers is that the new one is way better but somehow very trippy What should I do exactly?

I think the passive aggressiveness comes from the fact other devs have vocalised they don't exactly enjoy being pinged, they get an absurd amount of FAQs which some are solved by a simple google, maybe they want to detox from brawl for a few hours and cant even read discord in peace, maybe they actually stay ontop of their notifications, maybe they're just tired of reading the same questions all the time, the playerbase of the game is younger than other games, im sure they get a hassled by a lot of kids who no matter how much the devs appreciate them, they'll piss you off eventually lol
