when you hit someone, there is a small timeframe where you can dodge in a direction, thats a chase dodge, the chase dodge gives lots of movement when optimized, when you hit someone you have to dodge either toward them, up, or down, and anything in between. when you hit someone when grounded, you can have two chase dodges. if this was what you mean i wrote this half wall o text for nothing

after any attack you have a window to do a full-speed dodge(AKA chase dodge) which is faster moving and can be canceled out of with any move, this tech is known as momentum dodge(mdodge for short)

It all depends on the bow player

bow has some clear deadzones

It can't hit directly above except at the forehead, meaning any disjointed downwards aerial like spear dair can hit them

And if you aren't moving predictably in the air, you can't get backdash nlight'd easily

as that, or a jump nair/recovery are the only options they really have in that scenario

also, dlight is punishable on miss, and it doesnt actually cover the entire stage, so you can play passive and not be liable to being hit by it.

sitting on a platform makes the bow player have to approach you

dlight itself has a deadzone, that being close. because it moves them forward during the move, and hits a bit in front, itll completely miss close opponents

so it becomes a mix up game of whether you get hit by dlight, slight, or nlight

then it all depends on how good your movement is, and how good the bow player is at tracking you

in the air, it cant do too much unless you're below or stacked with them

but dont challenge bow dair or recovery

this is coming from a former bow player

lvl 51 diana, 42 yumiko, 35 ember, 30 kaya, and around 100 hours on the weapon and plenty of experience fighting and watching it

against bow, you have to always be unpredictable, and dont stand still for too long

learn all the ways you can move, and keep in mind what stage you're playing on, and what the bow player you're fighting struggles against

You don't have to avoid an option unless your opponent has proved that they are willing to actually commit to that option

This is just my take, you can ask someone who's more knowledgable, skillful, experience, helpful, or whatever if you want too.

Playing better =/= being some divine being sent from outer space to play brawlhalla. Sandstorm and Pavelski lose, like, every day. They lose in tournament, they lose in ranked, shit they even lose in experimental. Don't mistake hard work for being gifted, a lot of people forget Pavelski has been grinding for years to get to the level of others and has like 8000 hours in the game. Even Sandstorm who learnt quickly puts a lot of work into winning, it showed just how normal he is when he didn't practice for this year's winter champs, where he got absolutely destroyed and didn't even get top 8 (iirc, either way it was bad) because he put a casual number of hours into the game in the weeks before. Every pro loses, every pro improves, these guys just do it better than the others

i tried tech test and got 30 max
but when i red it to 720 works fine at 60

is this is a common issue or hardware issue
