sthere are current 10 legends I really like in this game & want to master them . please tell me who are really good at those charaters. There are alot of shiny title on youtube with "BEST, etc....." stuffs. But their skills arent not quite amazing for me to learn & waste of time watching. Those charaters are Diana, Queen Nai, Val, Brynn, Lin Fei, Sidra, Jhala, Ada Wong, I think the last would be Kaya, anti legend seem interesting & Hattori. I've only watched Boomie's Diana. It's true that "Watching pro gameplay can help you improve right". But someone would play some legends better than other legends. Like I'm in diamond with Queen Nai, but my skill at Val, I would say Silver, gold at Diana. Another example, I 90% don't think sandstorm can beat boomie in a Diana vs Diana fight

Val - pavelski (EU - recently), acno (EU - played mirror match vs pavelski in last tournament), santy? (NA - i think they play val), phazon (NA - switches chars a lot in tourrnament tho), im sure theres loads more.
Brynn - blaze (EU - 2v2 always, 1v1 sometimes), crockie (NA - more of a passive playstyle), Zexis (NA - semi-pro? pro? idk),** isidroo** (NA - older games, more sig usage that most).
Lin Fei - Pretty underplayed but **sandstorm **(NA) played her when she had busted true combos on katars, **theninja729 **(EU - older games but after 9 dex was patched), im like tied/2nd highest ranked lin fei theres really not many players of her :(.
Sidra - definitely theninja729 (eu - lvl 100 sidra, plays her most tournaments), sandstorm (NA) tried her a couple tournaments ago or sth.
Jhala - pugsy (NA - kinda older games, won a tournament when dlight nsig was true), vip3r (EU - played her like once idk when)
Ada - crockie (NA - more passive playstyle. lvl 100 ada), idk any other players
Kaya - phazon (NA - recently in 2v2 and kinda in 1v1), blew (EU - aaaages ago, plays sword now).
Hattori - **ethan **(NA - more aggressive), phazon (NA - sometimes in 2v2), remmy (NA - sometimes i see them play hattori).

slight->dash nlight(low health, catches spot dodges and sometimes inward dodges)
dlight->dair->jump nair (safe combo but nair not guaranteed from enemy jumping)
dlight->dair->recovery (not recommended, rarely hits and hurtbox in bad spot for punish)

sword is more fundamentals based. it's "neutral" in neutral because it's not inherently aggressive or defensive

sword is best played vs lance when you space their attacks and then punish their missed moves, if they miss nlight dont try to punish but wait for them to cover with a dlight, then you can punish that, the rest of their moves like dair/sair you can punish when they miss pretty easily, as long as you space properly. bow is great against lance if you keep them in the air and play pretty grounded, just watch out for sairs. your nlight has great range and can beat out their dair, your dlight is great if they try to land, and you can nair if they try to float directly above you. if they're in lance slight range avoid it and punish with your own slight

in general playing grounded is good against lance as well, since their only kill moves are sigs/nlight on the ground, you have to be in the air for them to kill you with anything else
