exactly what they say, definitely take things a bit slower so you can count your jumps, with time it becomes kinda subconscious but sometimes u just dont know why u didn't have a jump/dodge whatever. as long as you understand the mechanics of how u get your jumps back and how your dodge cooldown works u can take things slower and feel more in control of ur options.
another thing is check to make sure you're actually letting your jumps finish, smth a lot of ppl do without noticing is they jump then instantly recovery, which burns the jump and doesn't give any more height, you can also jump twice faster than you can finish one jump fully, so u can get 1 1/2 jump height out of 2 jumps cuz you mashed your jump key, keep a look out for those habits

i means you can get your coins/xp/etc by leaving after you die (and your teammate is still alive) in friendly 2s and the same idea for FFA. they fucked up and added it to ranked 2v2 tho
