i think u can get away with playing more floaty and looking for dairs, you can always use dash weapon throws especially from platforms to break neutral, even if u lose the weapon its not the end of the world, lance sucks at catching unarmed. if you can bait them with dashs etc and get them to nlight, then wait for the dlight coverage if you're close you can get dlight > whatever punishes. i think good movement is the key to approaching that weapon without getting super parried
