which weapons are you complaining about exactly?
scythe can be played in the same way it has always been played, look at top players for the weapon, it has the same capabilities. the passive playstyle has been adopted by a lot of players over all weapons because it's the most effective with all weapons, not just scythe. that's simply what the game has evolved into as a whole
it might be easy to pick up a heavy weapon and do well with it, but it's also pretty easy to adapt to the person using it and find their weak points, everyone makes mistakes. if it takes time to improve then you better get comfortable 🤷‍♀️

when they keep making a weapon category faster and faster and stronger and stronger, how is that making opportunities for counter play or development. you have to dedicate your whole life to beating it just because "we can't make each weapon respectively equal by respecting that heavy weapons are slow and harder hitting, light weapons and fast and light hitting and medium weapons are in between". Finding a balance takes time yes, and feedback has to be listened to yes, but the game is 10 years old...

heavy weapons like axe, lance, hammer (hammer has been nerfed so it's better) are just getting stronger and being adapted to be the meta. like why in gods name was blaster side light nerfed. blasters were in a great and balanced spot. i can say that even if i don't actively play the weapon

scarlett for example is becoming the new teros, and that is a problem when teros is still that strong

the same goes for spending coins because they don't transfer

you need to get invited to one by an officer of said clan, they are currently for pc only but most have discord server communities for those who aren't on pc
people advertise clans on a discord server called "guildhalla" (which you can search up using discords discovery feature), a lot of known clans have elo requirements
it is called GUILDhalla because the devs announced a while ago that clans will be changing into "guilds" sometime this year and will be open to all platforms and will actually have purpose beyond just being a tag under your username

What makes scythe a hard weapon is that you have to read dodges correct? But one you read a dodge you get big damage?

it really depends on what you would classify as a hard weapon, you'd get different opinions from different players
but for players new to brawlhalla, scythe can be hard because active input can be confusing and as you said it is a string weapon which relies on reading your opponent for damage.
though some would argue that the weapon could be hard to learn to begin with, others would argue that the weapon isn't hard to play at all because it has so little weaknesses

there are a thousand ways to use weapon throws
an example of offensively using them would be to approach with a weapon throw, trying to get the opponent to react to the weapon throw so you can catch a dodge or simply knocking them back to give you stage control
defensive, offstage when someone throws their weapon upwards they are protecting themselves against opponents ground pounding because the attacker would get hit by the weapon throw before reaching the person offstage

combos have no dodge frames, the opponent cannot dodge out of combos, so you're not hitting combos, you're hiting strings, strings have dodge frames and can be escapable
what weapon are you using and what string are you doing?

I'm trying to do the combo where it's forwards (not up)
Hitting the opponent with a light attack
Throwing them up and then catching them with the signature that grabs people from up and throws them down

x pivot is good because with blasters nair for example you can reverse nair and you get more range in a sense of putting out a hurtbox that would be more stretched out if it were done with a normal nair.

also some comboes are true with xpivot whereas no xpivot would mean no true combo, for the most part.

it is also required for certain combos in order to reach the correct positioning.

Remember that while you're recovering back to stage you still have the entirety of offstage to move around in instead of tunneling for the platform wall and getting gp'd

they're probably hitting you again while your dodge is still in cooldown. common mistake at low levels - trying to attack right after dodging, which leads to getting hit without a dodge

also if you spot dodge, certain attacks may still hit you due to long active frames. and the opponent might also be waiting for you to dodge and then attacking. also common mistake.

Hi there, i don't know what happened but starting yesterday, after i play for a while, my game get's a black screen.
When i try to close the game and reopen it, it doesn't get fixed or get's fixed and then after a couple seconds happens again.
Re-verifying the game on steam doesn't help either because after a minute or 2 it happens again.
I don't know what caused this, i don't know how to fix this. I did notice that when tabbed out, the game does run, but it will just not display anything but a black screen. It's as if the entire game has a solid black censor over it.

I use a simple Graphics card: a single slot Geforce GTX Nvidea 1660 TI. I had this card for a while and no other program i use it with has any problems running. This seems to be a Brawlhalla specific problem.

(and if you play katars, you might already be accidently using this worse variation)

it's a longer, faster dodge that you can cancel into an attack

first way is more inconsistent than the second

dlight > jump > cd > nair

if the dlight is gc-ed (gravity cancelled), you do not need to jump

this is a true combo on any dexterity

second and better way to dlight nair is the buffer version

dlight > buffer cd > nair

you buffer the cd by jumping in the first few frames of the cd emitting
the timing for this is very percise and will take a lot of practice

Excuse me, I was told to look here for help. I'm having a bizarre problem with my game account linking. My Switch account, which is my primary one, is suddenly just wiped for seemingly no reason. In addition, most of my other linked accounts are showing themselves reset as well. But on my Steam Deck, I can still link to my Switch account and see all the linked accounts at their proper levels.

I have a question about the bp. Due to horrible Switch servers, I've been doing most of thr bp on Steam Deck. If I bought thd pass on Switch, will I get all the rewards on the Switch version of the game if I wasn't able to keep up the account link?

In other words, are the rewards linked to the system that earned them or the system the bp was bought on (excluding mammoth coins)?

could be your wifi make sure your logged in on an account and try to refresh it by trying to open ranked or any matchmaking If it doesn't work could be your wifi
