Unable to Launch Brawlhalla - Easy Anti-Cheat Error
Hello Support Team,

I'm reaching out regarding an issue with my game (Brawlhalla), where I'm encountering an error with the following details:

Error Code: 20006
Process Exit Code: 0h
When attempting to launch the game, I receive an error related to Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), and the game does not start. I have reviewed the troubleshooting suggestions on your website and tried the following steps without success:

Verified Game Files: Using Steam's "Verify Integrity of Game Files" option, I confirmed all game files are intact, with no errors reported.

I Tried To Reinstall Easy Anti-Cheat: I ran the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe in the game's installation directory, and it said it was missing a DLL. I found it online, I added it to the folder, now a different error popped up :/ the DLL was tbs.dll. After adding it, it gave this error: 0xc000007b.

Updated Graphics Drivers: I ensured that my NVIDIA drivers are fully up-to-date. I have an old laptop from 2014 with a GTX 765M. Maybe the version is too old, but I think I'd get an error if it was that at least something.

Disabled Background Programs: I temporarily disabled non-essential background programs, including antivirus and other system utilities, to eliminate potential conflicts with Easy Anti-Cheat.

Ran the Game as Administrator: I attempted to launch the game with administrative privileges, but this did not change the outcome.

Updated Windows: I confirmed that my Windows 10 installation is fully updated to the latest build (Version 10.0, Build 19042).

Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the issue persists, and I am unable to launch the game with the anticheat on. I can play it with -noac but that isn't much fun. I would greatly appreciate any further assistance you can provide in resolving this issue, as none of the above steps have resolved the error.

Also, I can try to provide logs if that can help with anything.

As of the most recent patch, Brawlhalla has been randomly using severe amounts of system resources for my brother, very frequent freezing and randomly dropping out of games. We play on the South African server, if that has any bearing on the situation. His pc is almost identical to mine, but I haven't had the system resource issue myself. I will try to explain my problem as clear as possible
I am using a macbook air M1 2020 and a PS5 dual sense controller

I downloaded brawhalla from stream and i am trying to play it using my controller but it looks like the game does not recognize the controller

I tried the option proposed by Steam to make the controller works on Brawlhalla (called steam input translation) but it doesn't and in fact I'm not even sure it is supposed to since it is written that Brawlhalla does not support PS5 dual sense controller (see picture) (update : i cannot send any picture here ...)

Does anybody here knows something about this topic, is it normal that it doesn't work ? Is there a way to make it work though ?

I feel stutters is my gameplay, frame drops, a higher latency of keyboard inputs, and when I move my cursor to another monitor or window it drop my fps to 1.

Of my testing, the only thing that have helped was to put -noeac into the launch options, but ofc I can't have that when playing ranked.

has anyone seen an issue with freezing constantly? I've looked through the support page and done everything and I'm puzzled. It's not a PC issue and its no apps running in the background. It's like frame drops but my FPS is saying its constant. It's only happening after about 10 minutes of playing, but every time I reload the game. Then I can't get it to stop. I've reinstalled the game, drivers, make sure everything up to date. Just going crazy over here HAHAHAH

Trying to play the game on my phone but the game files are stuck at 9%. Tried uninstalling, clearing cache, making extra storage and everything. I have over 6 GB of RAM on my phone so I know that it can run it. If they really don't respond to emails that's a shame

If you're getting an error related to "easy anti cheat", add the -noeac launch option in Steam -> Brawlhalla -> Settings -> Properties:

1. Right click the game in the library
2. Click properties
3. Go to the general section
4. In the bottom text field, add -noeac

Brawlhalla will now launch with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.

Please note that you will not be able to play in Ranked or Tournament lobbies when EAC is disabled. As of Patch 6.07, EAC is required for Ranked and Tournament lobbies.
