Hello! So I play on Playstation, and am brand new to the game. I like playing scythe, however, I have a problem.

So, whenever I'm on default controls, I can never
nlight -> Nair using scythe. The jump takes far too long after the night, and I can't move forward during a Nair.

However, I can easily do this and a bunch of other follow-ups with ease when I have "up to jump" enabled in settings, as it allows me to jump quicker. On the other hand, it's absolutely terrible as I am unable to aim up at all, and throwing gadgets and weapons up.

I need help, because I want to be able to nlight -> nair, or a bunch of other follow-ups. Is there any way I can do this without having to use "up to jump," as it's terrible to use for me lmao.

Hold your down input throughout the combo, holding down while pressing dodge forces a dash so you can dash jump easier
Bear in mind it's only true at low damages and inconsistent when gc'd (where you have to chase dodge)

Specs: rtx 3070, i5-10400f.

Im using tech-test version.
My drivers are up to date.
I disabled shadowplay and Nvidia overlay.
I have nothing opened except Steam. Legit my second biggest CPU load is from Windows antimalware.
In Nvidia control panel I have only changed:
Low Latency Mode: Ultra
Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
Prefered refresh rate: Highest available (I have that one Benq 144hz monitor that all cs players had at one point).

There is also something interesting. If I open steam-overlay and use their messanger. If I press a single character, it almost always lags and inputs the character like 2-4 times.
This is how messages in steam look like for me. "hheeelp mmmee plllleaaasseee".
No other game is this laggy for me. Pls help

You're most likely mixing up the aerial and grounded dodge cooldowns
If the opponent dodges on the ground of while in aerial cooldown, touches the ground, they get the grounded dodge cooldown (or at least that's ffrom what I understand)

Dodge cooldowns:

Dodge in the air: 163 frames of cooldown (~2.7 seconds)

Dodge on the ground: 60 frames of cooldown (1 second)

Land on the ground: instant reset if more than 75 frames passed, otherwise cooldown set to 75 frames (1.25 seconds)
