so for a downwards chasedodge, you would input dodge + down after an attack

There is nothing unsafe about the process. You can unlink accounts whenever you like or you can link them but not use the account in game.

You can link multiple game accounts to your ubisoft account but only one can be actively linked and able to use in game at a time

You need to kill the opponent using an nsig that kills them off the side of the screen. I suggest using Wu Shang for the mission because both of his nsigs kill horizontally, the opponent does need to die at the edge of the screen so you can't gimp them. You must have been doing the mission wrong I'm afraid.

I have been on the Tech test version for most of my playtime as of late, because I've found it runs smoother. But I just turned it off as I locked my fps to 60 so that it wouldn't conflict with that launch setting.

I've pretty much always had -framefix and some -setfps enabled.

The game runs even worse without -framefix, it drops frames randomly and flash-freezes and such.

I locked my fps because my monitor does not refresh at 60 fps and I thought this game was intended to be played at 60 fps.

As for what it has to do with the tech test, I thought that since it's a beta engine update it might have some weird interaction with launch parameters.

running on higher fps will reduce input lag. you will never want to limit fps.

the techtest has been on "beta" for years. it's basically the intended way to play the game at this point. and you need it for framefix.
