it changes the controller deadzone to be more circular. also for dodges and throws, it takes into account where the joystick is on the controller, to better match your input to what you mean to input.

try it on and off. see what feels better.

most of the time your stick will look like "Improved" unless youre dodging, throwing a weapon, or taunting
DLSH and DLSL are only valid when dodging, which one is picked depends on if your controller has the left stick low or high (xbox vs playstation for eg)
finally the taunt one is for emotes

If you're getting an error related to "easy anti cheat", add the -noeac launch option in Steam -> Brawlhalla -> Settings -> Properties:

1. Right click the game in the library

Hello, my friend has a problem on MacOS where their screen keeps freezing and crashing after 1 or 2 games

I peaked 2050 about 5 seasons ago, stopped playing for a while, put about 1k hours into Rust, came back and got 1500 on my placements, put about 250 hours or so of in-game time in and have literally been hardstuck 1600. Kind of frustrating. Been sparring with a bunch of people that are higher elo than me, had them guess my rank and most said 1900-1800, and they were suppressed when I said 1500. Dont know wtf im doing wrong against these golds man, im watching replays and everything. Any tips though, from anybody? Would be greatly appreciated.

I also know that one issue is that I keep swapping legends, like I went from Magyar (level 42, hit diamond with him and Roland), to Mirage (level 29, peaked 1800 with scythe), to Brynn (Level 34), to Ada (level 28 and 42 on console, peaked 1800 ish with guns) and now im on Nix since the people I ask tell me that Nix might be a good fit and im liking her so far. Longest ive ever gone with a main is like a month but I was the same way before so idk.

Swapping legends is not that bad, there has been a lot of changes within the last 5 seasons such as new dash mechanics and a lot of buffs and nerfs, and 5 seasons is like 1.25 year

you can also ask higher level players to watch them for you
and also you can spar ppl in 1v1 customs to improve

like gs is defo capable (every weapon and legend is) so gs by itself probably isnt holding you back if thats what you meant

Different machines have different interactions with the game. The missing podiums and lobby glitches are common overall, usually fixed by restarting or uninstalling and reinstalling the game. As for the lag spikes you can try the -nonetworknext launch option to see if it helps, do you have any launch options?
