Depending on your hardware, you may see different results with each - try both to see which works best for you.

What the fuck is going on, I return to the game and all of a sudden shit like my clearly connected hits not landing (not talking about dodge) people not being punished for whiffing (an example: Isiah up cannon sig into an instant up light cannon combo) Of which I can't escape because no dodges? and not recover at all? when you open the training room menu, in one of the tabs you have the ability to change how the bot acts:

1. normal - recover and shit
2. YOU control the bot. your character stays in place and does nothing
3. the bot will mirror your every input
4. the bot will mirror your every input, but like, in the opposite direction

so just make the bot be whatever character you want to use, and then use mode 2.

2. Click properties
3. Go to the general section
4. In the bottom text field, add -noeac

Please note that you will not be able to play in Ranked or Tournament lobbies when EAC is disabled. As of Patch 6.07, EAC is required for Ranked and Tournament lobbies.

Its kinda hard to direct you since im not familiar with the amd graphics cards' software, but see if you can find a setting to open the game in windowed mode there, for example with nvidia i open geforce experience > find the game in the program and then set it to open in windowed mode there

unfortunately the game doesn't have a launch option for windowed mode, so barring trying to navigate the menu while the back screen is up, doing it through amd is kinda one of the only options

But imo I'd just switch to keyboard only, you'll technically have slightly different input delay on keyboard and mouse which while probably wont affect you isn't really practical, and generally its easier to coordinate on keyboard, not to say its gonna hold you back from your goals, but most people i know who got pretty decent with keyboard and mouse ended up switching to keyboard only

Can be a lot of things, generally worth looking into task manager and see if you're making out on ram or cpu, but as for improvements to the game itself you can make,

1. use %techtest -u (see below)

I experience weird visual performance and constant freezing ONLY in brawlhalla.
All of my drivers are updated, including the windows updates.(I'm on windows 10)
I enabled the steam "-framefix"/"-framefixunbounded" and set my fps to 200 (-setfps 200).
Steam and the AMD software say that my game runs on 200fps but visually it doesn't look like it. It's a weird mix of 60fps with 144fps.(my monitor is running on 165hz refresh rate) Freesync/any type of sync is off in every game including brawl

Also brawlhalla pops up whenever I alt+tab to anything. I alt+tab in discord/anything while brawl is closed, brawl pops up under discord/anything.
I think the alt+tab thing may be the problem since brawl is kind of in a weird/not fullscreen state.

Recently I tried the mobile version of BH on Android. I know it's been out since like 2022, but I never bothered to think much of it because all my progress is on Steam. But I been gaming on the go a lot more recently and Android is an unsuspecting platform with many emerging cross-platform surprises and boy was I impressed with the mobile version of the game. Bought a new Android controller to upgrade my old one that never worked. Now I can play mutiplayer stuff on the road from the palm of my hand, Wi-Fi or not. What a trip!

I'm getting more interested in this account link now, wondering if I can pull down my Steam progress to Google Play through a linked Ubisoft account but have the same problem: when I visit the link, my browser gives me an auth error. I even tried disabling all ad tracking and other tracking in case anything was blocked. 🤷‍♂️

I just constantly went to the site from the game and logged in and out and after a few tries my ubi acc appeared ingame

For steam it was already there so it was just a matter of retrying it on mobile

As for actual progress, account linking in its current state isn't that, not entirely at least (rank and legend levels won't come over)

Sorry late reply I'm cooking, nothing "resets" it's basically just a way to use cosmetics on another account, full account linking is scheduled for later this year but there's some technical limitations and A LOT of legal business stuff behind it that BMG are still sorting out

There's no date nor further info on it yet, just later this year

They released this part of it early as to not keep people waiting

At the moment you basically 'borrow' cosmetics and legends from one account to use on the other. XP and BP progress and coins and stuff are not borrowed but anything bought is.

Not sure if im understanding right, but when you're in the air you want to be able to groundpound (down + heavy attack in the air) instead of recovery (left/right/up/neutral + heavy attack in the air) while holding the side directions? The only way you'll be able to that is to press down and side at the same time

Theres no sideways heavy attacks in the air so think of it as down as a requirement for groundpound

You can't. GP is down + heavy attack in the air, you can hold left and right during that and thats fine but you have to press down to gp

Recovery is any other direction (or none) while in the air + heavy attack, thats because you'll use your recovery for movement AND as an offensive tool but you'll only use GP as an offensive tool
