Yes and no, still trouble shooting but looks like it might have been something to do with me running the game at too high of a resolution.

I had to drop my resolution down to 1440p or 1080 and play in windowed non full screen mode to be able to play 4 or 5 matches without a fatal error. Next to try is playing at 1440 or 1080 in full screen to see if it’s truly fixed.

get momentum (most commonly used with dashes, chase dodges, or dash jumps) and then do an attack while holding in the opposite direction. For example if you are trying to xpivot blasters nair and you are dash jumping ➡️ then you want to hold ↖️ while doing the nair. This should jerk you back and get the motion you were mentioning before.

(Disclaimer: Xpivots are not possible with every move. Some of the moves it includes are blasters nlight, blasters dlight, blasters nair, blasters dair, gauntlets dair, and unarmed nair)

sounds like you read 1 article on rollback netcodes and think you know what you're talking about.

when a player lags, aka their input packets arrive late, the server assumes them to keep holding that input (which is usually a good guess).
ROLLBACKING HAPPENS ON THE LATE PLAYER.

the non-lagging player isn't late to anything, so nothing happens to him.
as for the lagging player, when he gets the non-lagging player's inputs (and some extra rollback data from the server), their game state is rolled back, then replayed with the correct inputs.

if a player has a huge lag spike, the server will assume they kept holding whatever direction they were, and when later replaying the inputs, the lagging player will see a big jump (because their server position and client position were very different)- this is teleporting.

THE NON LAGGING PLAYER IS SEPERATED FROM THIS INTERACTION, SO NOTHING HAPPENS TO HIM.

there IS something called one sided rollback, where one player is slow to process the inputs, causing the other player to not get the lagging player's inputs on time, which causes rollback. but there's ways to deal with that. specifically, brawlhalla penalizes the lagging player with input lag, so the non lagging player doesn't get rollback.

any severe rollbacking and teleporting is purely an issue on your side (or, the servers)

i think the main reason they closed the feedback channels is because they... didn't actually get proper feedback. just people complaining, often about things that are entirely their (the complainers') fault ("i've been lagging for the last 100 years"). they (bmg) wanted to see how certain changes they made affected people's experience. and, that wasn't really what people did with the channel.

to be honest, it is certainly easier with bow, and maybe even blasters. I recommend playing diana, azoth or kaya to have an easier run to diamond (sig spam, especially with azoth and kaya is pretty strong)

it will still ultimately depend on your skill and how well u can play the weapon
