My network test to brawlhalla servers always fails, but I can load into matches with supposed full green bar connection. Only issue is my opponents don't move all match and when they lose their third stock the game freezes. Twitch broadcasts will also fully lag out from exactly when the match begins until someone loses all 3 stocks.

If you're getting an error related to "easy anti cheat", add the -noeac launch option in Steam -> Brawlhalla -> Settings -> Properties:

The input lag on your switch is most likely caused by the compounding effect of the input lag between your controllers and the switch and the switch not having a very robust network connection as hardware

The best way would obviously be to just predict when they are going to do it and dodge but that’s easier said that done and it’s probably not the answer you are looking for. If the person you are playing is constantly dash jump sairing then that means that you need to get up close so that can’t space correctly. Both of onyx’s weapons dominate up close. Just make sure you watch out for slight and nair

players tend to copy what pro players say. if a pro player said 'this legend is bad', their viewers would parrot their opinion with no questioning. Isaiah isnt bad, all legends are good, it purely depends on how you play them.
on the other hand, comparing a legend to another can be done. for instance, some of Isaiahs signatures arent great compared to other signatures (e.g. blasters ssig) however they are still usable. some would also argue, regarding his stats, medium dexterity and lower speed arent great paired with his stances.

Yeah, I remember your issue. I'm really not sure why, you're not the only one its happened to, I will send an email to the support about that one cause as long as you're diamond, 100 wins and top 50 (or whatever it is for your region) you should be getting it. Yeahh a few people have had this issue since the Avatar patch, currently the only two things that have solved it for people is 1) running Brawlhalla.exe as admin, including make sure BrawlhallaGame.exe is set to run as admin (goto local files, right click properties on BrawlhallaGame.exe, compatibility, check run as admin, apply) and 2) installing the game to a different drive, e.g. if you have a C:/ and D:/ drive available install the game on the opposite one to which its installed on

Pretty much suggested every fix to people with that specific issue, for a couple tho two fixes have worked but its not guaranteed you/they have a 2nd drive and I have no idea whats causing the bug in the first place (eac obviously but what about it)

The quickest one is the See Ya! emote at 17 frames and 2nd is Primal Roar at 19

The longest one doesn't really matter because there are taunts that will run for longer than the GC is active, so you can really just pick whatever - the default Woohoo taunt is fine, as it runs about the same length as the GC keeps you up for. I don't really agree as soon as I saw that gc I would wake up regardless of whether I was planning to or not and depending on the weapon you'd prolly come out of it orange health.
That's not to say you shouldn't do it if it works for you, play how you like, but as a general rule of thumb I can't really suggest trying to read dodges with GCs when the risk reward is way lower than nair or even dair

Theres times when gc reading is good, like slight gc slight on gauntlets is a great read because it catches dodge down and away dodges and due to the movement it'll be really hard to punish especially if they dodge in but gc dlight keeps you in place and doesn't get you any more hits than nair > sair > etc

Fair enough. It’s a competitive fighting game no two opponents are the same. The ones I fight on my elo and region don’t tend to punish gc whiffs on gauntlets especially ones so low to the ground. Idk how people you fight play or react but most people are gold and going for gc dlight probably isn’t gonna get them punished too hard

Ever since I renamed my switch account, I play Brawlhalla on, from POYO to Kura it showed Brawler instead in the game.
Ive tried to rename myself countless times, but it didn’t work.
Starting the game with my other accounts however shows their respective names.
I’m having this issue for a few weeks now I think.

Nair is incredibly safe and sets up for juggles

Slight is a good grounded neutral option
Nlight great anti air/stacked
Dlight for punishes/when theyre further away

So while you ofc have to adapt to each opponent individually, it can help to see how pros approach certain match ups or situations

gc nsig off stage is good but predictable at decent elo
dsig is the best sig on his axe kit, it catches a longer range than slight and catches offguard, better use than slight if u want a mix up

cannon nsig is predictable, dont charge it to let it go on the floor unless you know they cant punish it
ssig is a thing, better used recovering back to stage or a mixup
dash rev dsig is insane, and holding dsig as an edgeguard is insane too, dont overuse it though
