I won 3 games in a row after and it still didn’t change from 151

the difference in ELO between you and your first opponent was greater, hence the larger ELO gain, since in the second game you were higher and your opponent was lower you gained less ELO

As for orion sigs you can use options like slight > nsig on lance for kill confirms (or just randomly its pretty op) and lance dsig is great when your opponent is trying to come to stage. spear nsig can be used out of dlight if your opponent has no dodge and spear dsig is a good stacked option and pretty safe

its good to be aware exactly why they're killing you so fast, theres no 12 move true combos, are you missing dodge windows, dodging the same way, etc. being able to notice your bad habits will help you improve in general

I mean, it kinda of IS like chess but its easy to fall into autopiloting games without engaging your brain properly and learning from them, but making sure you're really focusing on how you can punish, what you should have done or what went wrong will go a long way, even if its just in exp instead of ranked. sure you can get a bot to attack in training mode but its going to be really predictable and i dont think it will translate too well into a real game. even if your opponent isn't attacking you will still have opportunities to punish movement and to be honest you don't really need perfect punishes in plat to rank up, you can get diamond with good enough neutral and dodge reads, or a gimmick. it really is just a matter of playing the game against real people and constantly thinking about punishing whatever they do.

I mean, generally the goal should be to kill them :D but jokes aside I know what you mean - its good to be able to recognise when you have an opportunity for a kill or to push your advantage especially by keeping track of your opponents dodges and making sure you know what their options are offstage, especially if you play scythe like sandstorm did. on the flipside you shouldn't be going too hard especially if you're actually at a disadvantaged position (e.g. less options, gambling on a 50/50 hitting, etc) and generally understand when to reset to neutral, being too aggressive can lead to you making mistakes like going in without a dodge or dying offstage by messing up a gimp/trying to read your opponent.

there will always be times when your opponent is offstage, regardless of the rank, in that case you're either guarding the stage or guarding the wall, the most important thing is to keep track of your opponents options and not go out too far especially if they have all their options. it can also really help to understand how your opponent likes to recover, in plat especially most people are doing it similar, for example some people may always go high above the wall, others might insta recovery after being hit away, others might instantly dodge when it away, some will always save their recovery to touch the wall, either way a lot of people are constantly recovering the same way, and thats very punishable. make sure to utilise weapon throw, ideally with a dash if they have no dodge and if they're low on options (but enough to touch) it can be a good idea to guard the wall and punish as or before they touch

as for killing its very important to make sure you're using your true kill combos on bow or looking for moves without variable force, you shouldn't really be slighting when they're red unless you cant do anything else, even killing with nair is fine as long as you're killing, on lance at plat you can probably get away with the 1 frame slight jump (insta) rec

hit word limit but continuing on: on lance slight rec is a good option as its pretty fast and plats aren't used to that combo but looking for sair and rec in neutral can also be a good way to kill, having sigs that work consistently out of light attacks (especially if they cover a lot of dodges) will also work very well, vector has dlight nsig on bow when they have no dodge and slight dash dsig to cover in/out dodges. lance nsig actually works out of dlight and slight if they're always jumping and sometimes ssig can get you a cheeky stock by catching them offguard out of sair or using it when t hey're close to the edge of the stage.
bow has downlight rec which kills the earliest and make sure you use that when you get the chance but as i said before nair is great and if you're using dair and sair properly your opponent will find it hard to recover, hitting something like dlight > jump > sair > dair when they have no dodge (and aren't completely red) will put you in a massive advantage position if it hits them offstage

Yeah, I always get them offstage. And I know what you mean, be aware of what I do. It is good, but it sometimes feels helpless when you missed that very last move. And what I am struggling with is closing up stocks and I understand that even with killing with nair is good, but my opponents simply do not die, like, Koji at deep red doesn’t die from a nair place at one jump height. And when I do not get the kill, they start beating me up in neutral, and I like to play fast, I do not like to wait for my opponents, the reason why is that every move has a cool down, so I always try to use that very little cool down to hit my opponent, that is in paper something that no matter your rank, you can’t do anything against, you just… have to play extremely passive against me, and that’s why people do not like to rematch me, is frustrating how they have to change their play style so much so I don’t take their stocks immediately, or slowly taking their stocks in a painful but consistent way. That frustrates me as much it frustrates my opponents

I think its good to slow it down a bit in a situation where your opponent is red 2 stocks and you're fresh on 1, throwing out a bunch of moves looking for the kill will usually get you more damaged than you'd like by the time you kill them, if theres ever a time to play slower and think about what to do, its when you're trying to kill. its fine to play aggressive but don't forget that your goal in the situation i mentioned is to kill them WITHOUT taking any damage, or as little as possible. ending their stock with you being in orange or higher greatly is reducing your chance to win compared to if you got the kill in yellow or before.

make sure to utilise the invincibility frames when you spawn in, a lot of players will actually get inpatient and attack while you're still invincible and it can be a good way to get stocks, but at the very least you'll get more time to get a weapon which will increase your kill chance a lot. some people have really bad movement while they wait for you to spawn and you can go for something safe like unarmed rec which puts you in a great spot to get the weapon and kill without much risk of damage

you can try different keybinds and see if you can press those keys at once, generally you wont be pressing WAS and D at the same time

It will either be the issue that your keyboard has 4-key rollover (you can only press 4 keys at once) - you can test this by trying 5 different keys that aren't close to each other on your keyboard and seeing if they all press down, if only 4 can be pressed then thats just the limitation of your keyboard or it'll be ghosting which will generally happen around WASD where they keyboard thinks your keypress is accidental and wont register it, to me it sounds more like 4-key rollover but test it out

once it stops working after the first reinstall, try verifying game file integrity on steam, does it fix/find any files it cant validate?

do any of these apply to your system:

1. 32 bit OS
2. windows vista or older
3. intel core 2 duo/quad CPU without a GPU or equivalent cpu without integrated graphics

the devs are aware theres issues with EAC but the game not working at all isn't that common, most of the issues arise on older notebooks and considering EAC is 64bit only its not really a priority to work through those issues for extremely outdated systems, the issue with solving it for us helpers is that basically anything could be the reason for it not working (presuming none of the 3 above apply to you); i've had people have it fixed by something as simple as reinstalling or others only have it fixed after completely formatting windows, since the errors aren't much help and EAC is built into brawlhalla the most we can do is throw fixes at people in the hopes one works

Are you actually able to do it right now in offline mode with mordex and 3 dex? I literally cant hit it once anymore and even tried recording my inputs. I almost input at the same time the jump and chase dodge but the jump is always first else it wont work.
Im not even able to get a single arial chase dodge anymore at all with the buffering.

my friend can hit it on 2 dex gnash so its not to do with dexterity

plus its a useless combo, dlight slight is better

I mean i can hit the combo itself as well. But not with buffering. The grounded nair i can hit (almost) consistently without buffering but i was always able to do it with buffering.
I have problems hitting grounded reverse nair consistently without the buffering version.
And yea you right its useless but stylish 😛

for instance on steam it would come up here and youd have to click accept to get the bp

Where do I go to get this "Connection Server failed" Fixed everytime I try to play online on this game in Brawlhalla I have tried all the methods, Restarting ps4, Uninstalling & Re-Installing, Trying to playing on a different account who do I talk to, to get this fixed I just want to play and this is obviously a Brawlhalla problem and not me or my Connection
