For complicated designs like this I'll usually draw a standing( or tpose is good) version of this to ready myself and draw whatever pose I want it in.
Draw the pose first in the easiest way you can do it(for me that's like a naked guy with no details, for you u could start with a stick figure if it's better) then add details on top. If there's something Im not confident in, il practice just that in another page and come back once I've understood it
