  1. when designing a legend what comes first: the sigs threat area or the fx
    also how do you decide on what the sigs are and how do you keep them from being too similar, like for eg bödvar and scarlet side and down hammer are very similar in terms of hitboxes and knockback angle yet they feel very different to use bc of the fx

  2. what goes into creating a new colour swap and will we ever get to use esports colours in 2v2 customs

  3. when should we be expecting some more accessibility features both visual and controls (prioritise neutral over down even if its just for rec/gp, applying prioritise natural over side for things like active input, a switch to turn of crossover custom sig fx, the ability to ban certain colours that clash together, etc)

  4. will the offline modes ever get fleshed out more? better tutorial (including character specific) like RoA, story mode like smash ult, slightly less obnoxious training mode

Hot take:

Not saying that a poor match up should be used as an excuse/reason at lower ELOs but, simply put:
You wouldn't use gauntlets against katars the same way you would against blasters. (unless you exclusively approach from accross the map with Weapon throws & Rayman N/Ssig 🤡) It's still gauntlets non the less, but you should be thinking about how well you understand how to use your weapon, how to play against X weapon, how your opponent plays X weapon, and whether switching weapons is a good idea.

Tl;dr: Weapon match ups matter, but not for the reason many people say they do

(All) Do you guys remember Jump sigs? It was a test feature several years ago that never made it through because it was kind of silly. If you don't know or remember, it was when you charge a sig on the ground, then jump in the middle of it so it releases the sig in the air.

A lot of people think its speed but no. a Legend with high dexterity will have a shorter recovery time after an attack finishes, allowing for quicker successive attacks, as well as a shorter minimum charge time for Heavy attacks, allowing for faster execution. Baiting and punishing is something mainly done when u know the exact rec frames of a move

U throw a light attack w low rec frames near ur enemy with the intention of missing so they can try to punish u but since u had low rec frames theres a chance u wont get punished

It doesnt mean u 100% wont get punished when u do this, it just means that theres a higher chance, all depending on how far u are from ur enemy and their reactions

(All). I think that possibly biblical crossovers would be a really cool idea. Maybe Jesus over Zariel because he doesn’t have any crossovers at the moment and the sig effects are already light related so reworks would be simple. I also think Moses over Mako would make a good combo as Moses parting the Red Sea would flow over her sigs really well. I also think maybe Noah and the ark could fit as well.
