My experience over time has been prompting "continuous shot" in text to video does mostly result in continuous shots. Text to image to video seemed really prone to cutting away to random unprompted shots. That may or may not be the case over the past month, but I personally wouldn't know, because the experience led me to focus on T2V as I really mostly care about continuous shots I can edit myself, except for the occasional single generation meme use of the tool, which is the only real time I want to control a cut within a prompt.

Yeah, in an ideal world I would use T2I2V to quickly confirm that I was on track to get characters/aesthetics/environment/blocking right. But it simply doesn't feel worth paying the "random cuts" tax. But I try to sneak back and check it out from time to time to see if the model has improved.
