Appearantly playtesters got a survey recently where they were talking about a "successor" and how important it's gonna be for them that save files and mods from the old title is compatible with the new one

......although, now that I think about it, it might also be the sims 3 that's getting a new engine 🤔

Other EA games arent single player sandbox, so it doesnt really apply to them

New Engine would make every mod and saves redundant due to the vast amount of structural changes and codes (and bloat codes removed). If they where merely upgrading then mods and saves might be safe.

But yeah. Sims 4's engine is so old. A new eengine implementation would be ALOT of work and money. Which we know EA won't commit to.

I built a nightclub, and not a single NPC showed up.
The game feels very lifeless.

Conversations are not real – interactions are extremely short, and it feels like the characters just want to finish the action as fast as possible.

Jobs are poorly explained – there’s no guidance on why to choose a certain position or what skills are required.

The characters in the game don’t really do anything meaningful. They mostly just walk in the background, giving no sense of life or activity.

there are actual people who have to translate the terms from korean to english properly which sometimes ai can be inccorect with so i believe how difficult it is for them to get it correct
