TBH this is the ideal scenario for the MM attacking ... you WANT your main target to stay alive so everyone around him can get splash damage. The thing limiting hunter damage in AOE situations is their target dying too quick.
I tried working out what max possible hunter dps was at one point ... with duelist gear and every lucky proc it was >500k ... with every buff going it could be >1m easily.

Kindred gives +21% damage to you AND another player when you empower it and +10% all the time otherwise
so ... boat gives you personally slightly more damage for 1 global when you enter eclipse, kindred gives you more damage by a huge margin the other 95% of the time ... and your team much more damage ALL the time

i'm playing gdruid/boomkin so have to use convoke/boat for rbgs ... it can work ... just seems like the consistent mega damage buffing from affinity would be better than trying to get lucky every 2 mins

kinda depends on the hunters spec ... bm will probably stun > trap the healer and dps kill target on open, marksman just want to open ful without needing to stun anything so ideally you cc everything for them as they open

Convoke with BoAT still one shots if you cross cc and stun go target. I came back to the game about three weeks ago and have carried a few friends to 2k. Not sure how viable it is after 2.1k since cheese is still cheese and can be easy to stop tho

current meta is kyrian > nf > necro but there are a few top level players playing necro. Kyrian you get a huge baseline damage increase for you & dps partner as long as they're necro ... nf is funner for convokes and will work a lot better at low CR as people won't stop you as much.

I'd agree that if your goal is to play pvp casually for fun, you should play convoke because you'll get wins at low rating by pressing convoke out of stealth from 20 yards away

i don't triple stack it at the cost of other heals, like dont triple stack and then rejuv, get your other heals up first
but it shouldnt be an issue for the most part, not sure if its worth optimizing, just passive refreshing will eventually get you to 3 stacks assuming it doesnt fall off

I haven't tested necro on 9.2, but with dual legendary potential I'm not sure necro will be the play. The covenant legendary doesn't support ST damage at all. I think kyrian has a lot of potential to see good play for double dps / 3s.
I'm no glad so take my advice with a chunk of salt.
