For resto druid our stats show as vers/haste for top, with mastery just behind and crit as a no-go. I often see "20% vers, stack as much as you can", but is there a (soft) breakpoint for either haste/mastery to maintain or aim for?
For example, I'm currently sitting on 24.4 Vers, 18 Haste, and 4.49% mastery. I've got a good 8 or 9% of crit available to replace, but I'm trying to determine where that's best shifted at my current stats
Any advice?
the resto video pinned here has the guy on around 15% haste, 30%ish vers, but doesn't really dive much other than "vers, then haste, but mastery is alright"

as a side note, what's the rough ilvl of pvp gear where this starts to become viable?
Currently if I'm all in on haste/vers gear at 207, I don't look as if I can break 19% haste without giving up a chunk of vers.

But in pvp, it looks as if crit is near worthless for us. If I get a high crit/mastery piece, for that to beat out haste/vers, then that means the main stat value needs to scale more than the secondaries lose out

seraphim is a buff they apply on themselves for 10 or 15s i dont remember that cost 3 holy power and boost their crit mastery haste vers. Its on gcd. When you see this pop and they have wings available. they will 99% of the time press wings and try to blast you.
But you need to not get out / trinket instantly. otherwise they wont press wings (which is off gcd)
and just wait a bit to do a go on you, after you lost your mobility cds / trinket

If you're running Circle then you can't have two swarm casts concurrent like you can without Circle
As in 1st cast goes enemy > friendly > back to enemy and here you cast a 2nd swarm on 2nd enemy
Cuz circle makes it shorter so by the time Swarm is off cd, your original one has already bounced twice and disappeared

And yes I know about the circle unfortunate interaction with a swarm. But if you dont play circle you can actually have 2 swarms rolling. And you are not right about the percentage I think. It has 60% chance to split as far as I recall. Hence the actual chance of getting 3 swarms (assuming bounces are never interrupted) is slightly above 50% (60% initial split, followed by 84% that at least one of the two swarms on ally split again on the way back)
But anyways you are right unless you play with someone who provides dispel protection it will be shit. And even if they do, swarm can be purged while on friendly...

I don't mean it circumvents a bind, it simply enables rake to be pushed when I am on a target other wise prowl. If you ware using that bind as a prowl/cat form macro it won't put you into cat form if prowl is on CD. I probably should just get rid of it and get used to my other stand alone prowl / meld bind though 🙂

I quickly checked paths, everything seems to be clear

The haste proc on spiteful weeks is giga
But the mainstat when pressing swarm is worthless cuz it only lasts 4 seconds
You get the same uptime on it as every other class but cuz it's 4s per proc, then 1.5s of it is the gcd, you only have 2 or 3 more globals to make use of it per proc, so 33-25% of its uptime is wasted

It really was, but one of the things I would've liked them to address was the absence of achievs/rewards to climb above 2400. The ladder could use another rank, at 2700, in all brackets. The gap from 2400 glad mounts to rank 1 has been too big since they introduced the new glad mount system
I'd just slap a new rank at 2700, along with the achiev that already exists, call it champion of the arena or something, with perhaps 1 cosmetic reward. That'll go a long way to incentivize ppl queuing after their glad wins, which is usually when people stop, very few attempt rank 1 pushes after all

I'm not an expert but in my experience , you can't beat hunter/feral/priest for 3s and I basically only like to play with priests or another feral in 2s
I tried doing hunter/feral in 2s but I just can't keep the hunter alive
