I use Ableton and it is pretty easy (well... I guess it is kind of subjective) to chop up samples. basically just chop it on either the hits or on a beat (like every quarter note) and start messing around until you get something that sounds good. Always got inspo from Madlib's ability to chop stuff up

Basically, I'm a huge prismatic shard enjoyer. However, it has some notable problems:
A. You have to pay for it
B. Prismatic shard runs often end up being good-stuff-piles, where you just take cards that lack synergy

So, what our mod is rebalance a fuck-ton of cards to be way more synergistic with each other :D

So yeah, we've come up with lots of creative ways to get around that.

Limit break doubles focus, biased cog also gives strength, and compile driver drawing cards equal to the number of orbs you have were 3 recent changes that we added, and all have been really great

You wake up in a creepy cabin, with a creepy guy sitting in front of you. He forces you to play a card game against him. You can get up from your chair, and explore the cabin which holds many secrets.

The game itself is you, versus him. You have a deck that consists of animals that cost either bones, or blood. If an animal costs blood, you need to sacrifice a different animal to play it (so for example if something costs 2 blood, you need to kill 2 other cards of yours that you have already played)

You get bones for each animal that somehow died.

Each animal has hp and damage value (and often special abilities). Your goal is to deal enough damage to your opponent before they do the same to you. (They score is tracked by a scale. So if you, and your opponent continuously deal 4 damage, no one will ever win)

The map itself is reminiscent of Peglin or Slay the Spire

With many very interesting encounters, and options on where to go/what to do.

Can anyone recommend the "must-play" yakuza games? I have dipped my toes in to a couple of them here or there, but I realy want to get into the series without playing through everything (just because I feel like it would take me way too long). Hoping to get some recs on the most important entries to the series (story/gameplaywise)

honestly if you're interested in the new one you could just start there - you'll miss some context but the game isn't subtle about reminding you about previous relevant story points. if you want the slightly expanded version you could do like kiwami, 7, the man who erased his name, and then play 8
