Use Text to Image. All of the controls are in there. You'll see it when you get into the GUI.

The two most common reasons are browser plug-in interferenace (you can test by trying another browser) or windows firewall blocking (you can reset windows defender to defaults). If neither of those solve your problem, let us know.

Not sure I understand what you're after. Sorry! Composition Reference can help to drive the position of items in the generated image. Style Reference can help to influence the visual aesthetics. You use the text prompt to provide additional instructions that you can't provide with imagery.

what I want to do is to give it an image, and it then generates 3-4 images that are similar to the inputted image, preferably with no text input from me

You can do that. Use the image as a composition and style prompt and use a period, ".", as the prompt:

But, you might not see much change in the images without a prompt

It's similar to "Control Net" if you're familiar with that but it wasn't really designed to recreate a consistent character, if that's what the goal is.

I'm new to this tool and it looks like I can import an SVG file (not sure about any other 3D format) but not seing any options to bring in a camera or even see coordinates for the POV camera .. any help appreciated 🙂 .. thanks!

To use premium functions as text/image to video or audio translation you’ll need a Firefly subscription. This will give you more credits in addition to your CC subscription. But if you just want to use text to image, generative fill/expand (e.g. in photoshop, illustrator etc.) you don’t need to buy the Firefly specific subscription.

A tip is to check Adobe Stock for similar videos for what you want. I searched «angler fish» and didn’t get much, but when I searched «anglerfish» I got a lot more, so that might be the reason. Firefly is trained on Adobe Stock, so often you can look up there to find a way forward. Hope this helps!

Hi guys, I have a stange issue. I have a full premium subscription cloud on adobe products (Creative cloud all apps). I can use firefly since months with the text to image generator. Last week I got the message I was also able to use text to video. It worked for 2 video's and then all of the sudden I get the message that I need to as access to the app. it's fully included in my subscription I have more than enough credits on my account, but still there is no way to use this anymore after 2 times? any idea what I must do to use this and make it work again? thanks for any tip or clue. thanks.

"Standard" means Firefly Free and any Creative Cloud plan that gives GenAI credits. "premium" means Firefly Plus and Firefly Premium. The terminology is confusing

Even that table is confusing, because, if I have "Firefly Free" with my Creative Cloud plan, and I know I get 1000 credits per month, why does it says that my Generative credits are "Limited".

It means you cannot use those 1000 credits for video generation or translation (except for 2 free trial generations of video). You have to have a premium plan for that (Firefly Plus or Firefly Premium)

You’re correct. When you’ve soent your limited trail you’ll need either firefly plus or premium to continue generating video. The 1000 credits only work on image generation (text to image, generative fill/expand etc.)

Gen AI takes a lot of cloudbased compute power which has to be paid for somehow. If you don't want to pay for GenAI, then you don't have to - Adobe CC is still a monster suite of creative tools without it.
If, however, GenAI tools helps you speed up your workflow and allow you to do things that would otherwise take longer and cost more, why wouldn't you pay for that - it's a cost of business.

I have seen the folk at Adobe get a lot of negative comments recently over what is an evolving technology that is additional to what is already available and the core creative apps are also improving massively.
The engineering and dev teams all want the best for the users and they should be applauded for the work they do and the improvements they have bought across all the apps. #codewarriors

I really understand the disappointment that Creative Cloud users faced, and do agree that language could be voiced better, but very appreciative here of you mentioning the value of CC bundle on it's own as well as the fact that it would be unrealistic fitting GenVideo features to it.

@astral jolt I also understand users' frustrations and puzzlement over the credits system and the contention that the number of complimentary credits is not enough to gauge the usefulness of GEN AI video. TBH we all know this needs to be reviewed - I take part in a lot of the meetings with Adobe folk, under NDA, so am unable to say more than Adobe really are looking at this.
Meanwhile the CC package without GenAI is just getting better and more feature rich, saving us time and improving workflow letting me and my team get into the creative flow zone faster and stay there for longer.

I don't get how Adobe went from single licences to an "ALL PROGRAMS WE OFFER CREATIVE CLOUD" and now adds some "Premium AI" that's a lousy beta at best...
Honestly also all the Substance 3D apps should be included and not on an extra budget... either you have ALL APPs or you should be able to choose your package like in the good old days. I'd go with PS, AI, AE + Substance + Firefly.

even 20 video generations of 5 seconds for 12$ a month wouldn't help to determine if GenAI is useful in our workflow... after like 5-10 iterations ine might have understood how the model interprets your promt and how first/last frames will be incorporated to the creation. so something like 100 generations would be a minimum to extensively test the Firefly capabilities.

As said before by someone here - yes, for the next 2,3,4 weeks people will go crazy on the adobe AI servers but as many subscribers probably just use the "print-package" the real demand for generative Videos will balance sooner or later, don't you think?

you can of course still pay for individuals apps but that wont be nearly as cheap as if you just paid for the all apps plan. Also it makes sense why Substance 3D is a separate sub

just like with video AI, not everyone is even remotely into 3D

why would they want to pay extra for something they wont use? with all apps plan one would assume you would use at least multiple software to justify the price

usually its the company but also individual professionals that will use several of them

1500 is an odd number. As far as I know you get 100 for single app CC, 1000 for all app CC, and 2,000 for a basic firefly subscription. (That I guess would be 3k total with all app CC and basic firefly?

It still seems kind of rough that 20 credits per second is temporary. 100 credits later. So a cost of 500 credits per 5 second video will give a basic subscription to firefly only 4 videos per month. 6 if it combines with an all apps CC subscription. Firefly Pro is 7000 or 14 videos at that price(16 if it combines with all apps CC).

Yeah Firefly don’t understand verbs, so it often just gets confused by word such as replace, ensure, add, remove etc. stick to what you want.

It doesn’t have to be free. I would pay for it but the generations are not good for a few outputs, so you have to iterate a lot. Maybe 10 times for a decent video and there’s your monthly budget blown already. I would definitely pay $299 a year for an unlimited plan.

The video and image seems to be working the same way, so short and precise prompts without verbs (ex. make, remove, add, etc.) seems to be the way to go on both models

I haven’t had a lot of success with 2d video prompts(starting from a more illustrative design). It seems to make 2d into 3d, or a slight cel shaded 3d look.im guessing this is mainly because its been trained on mostly three dimensional imagery

ive used other text to video options and they have a model where you buy your basic subscription(about the same price as adobe firefly basic) with a set amount of credits per month that will disappear if you do not use them, then the abiliy to purchase extra floating credits that do not disappear. I like that approach

that is to say, you spend 20 dollars a month to get what.. 2000 credits or whatever. then you spend 30 dollars to buy perhaps 3000 extra credits(that dont go away until used). Now that i think about it, i don't know that the credits you get every month from Firefly go away, but i'd assume as much.

You won't be able to keep the exact details of both, I'd reccomend either the mock-up tool in illustrator or creating a photoshop mock-up

Your prompt also isn't ideal for Firefly. It doesn't interpret instructions like that, instead try listing the keywords you want to be generated in order from most important to least. For example: plain white container sitting on pile of blue power. Then you can add filters like studio lighting and closeup photography from the dropdown filters.

So Firefly only allows you to make manga characters, cute things, and corny, soft-happy, stuff... It doesn't allow you to generate anything that might be horror movie related or the ai prompt approver bot, will not create the image, right?

you have to lean on descriptors sometimes to achieve the results you want, I think maybe the message is being misinterpreted, you're not being tracked, it's simply letting you know one of the terms and/or the resulting image is blocked, it's not always about the word itself

"wtf" and "gore" - are not acceptable terms (I also had some errors with "demon" and "general")

"panoramic view" - replace with a Camera Angle such as Landscape or Wide Angle

"Todd Schorr" - Firefly is not trained on artists' works. Try setting the Content Type to Art and using Effects such as Surrealism and Fantasy. You can also try using public domain images that are a similar style to Schorr's as a Style Reference. Maybe Hieronymus Bosch?

"hyper 4k realistic" are not terms that work well for Firefly. You can try to use the Upscale option instead once you have a generation you like.

Running prompt as such doesn't give weird results but probably for it's length it does overlooks some parts of the prompt. To Firefly prompt strength goes from first towards last word, meaning that it's effectiveness will be lessening so the general recommendation to have your key points concisely packed without unnecessary descriptors.

Try shortening and re-packing the prompt and if that doesn't do it you could go for Photoshop and compose, or use generative fill to bring in lacking details

Two things to try. We have seen the windows firewall sometimes block connectivity to Adobe. I have not see that lead to this error, but this seems to be a lack of connexion error. You can try resetting the windows defender firewall to the default setting. If that does not work, try Microsoft Edge browser. If that does not work, we will likely have ask/escalate.

Why do Creative Production & Custom Models never work for me? I’ve an enterprise license for all adobe apps including Firefly

When I open either tool, it just shows the introduction video and nothing else. can’t proceed anywhere

Also my browser is set to default zoom, the video is already zoomed in upon loading for whatever reason. I’ve to zoom out to 70% to be able to access the play button, volume button etc

And before anyone suggests: I’ve already tried it on 5 devices on 3 operating systems and I’ve even used a VPN

Honestly, I do not think any of us here are experts in enterprise plans. Most of us are on individual plans. The experts will be in the Adobe Community Enterprise forum. Video is only available on certain plans. It is not available on all enterprise plans. I believe custom models is not a default feature. But these plans change over time and I do not closely follow them.

You cannot link images from the web, and Firefly is not great at keeping everything the same (e.g. if you add a person, small differences may occur so it's uncanny). How I would go about to do this is using Photoshop. Creating a background and adding in the faces manually. You can use generative fill to add in elements to the banner.

Without knowing details I'd say that you shall relay on Photoshop composing still. You may try to use construction reference at maximum strength if for example you are attempting to create for example an avatar, and also support your image with additional describers. Hi, have a bit of a licensing question (probably already been covered several times so apologies if I'm covering old ground). What is the guideline in terms of generating video from licensed stock, be it from Adobe or elsewhere? The legalities on the Adobe site state - 'Using Adobe’s generative AI features to create, upload or share content that violates third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights is prohibited. This may include, but is not limited to, entering text prompts designed to generate copyrighted, trademarked or otherwise infringing content, uploading an input or reference image that includes a third party’s copyrighted content' - but not sure how that applies to stock assets that have been properly licensed? Now I'm reasonably sure you can use properly licensed Adobe Stock as a source image but if for instance if I have a shot fully licensed from IStock that I want to use as a reference image to generate a video, is that okay? There's nothing currently in the Istock licensing statements to say I can't - but then not really anything to say I can either. Obviously this is all new frontier stuff and still being worked out by everyone so just wondered if anyone had any thoughts.

Yes but that's where its a bit unclear. There's nothing in the licencing terms on Istock for instance that states you can't use a licenced image to generate a moving AI version of itself. But it's definitely currently a bit of a murky area. I don't want to do any creators out of their money so it's ultimately down to being clear as to what kind of usage is covered. As I say it's all so new people are still playing catchup on the legalities. Appreciate there are many out there who don't care about the provenance of the content they generate - we very much do.

If you want to generate images without any moderation, you have to run the models locally, i.e. on your own GPUs. Otherwise, you have to live within the rules of the company providing the service. First impression is that the prompt might be too lengthy with some unnecessary parts as "create...". Have you tried starting with an image scene so far? That should add a "control" layer and prevent generator predicting it based on prompt alone.

Hi ! Have anyone ever experimented fashion simulation on firefly ? What are the result. I am looking for 3D simulation of my products drawn on flat sketches. I think that could help my clients to have a better visualisation of the final piece.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the goal, you can try composition reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23i3ogWclSY but you're not going to get an exact logo on a shirt for example using this method, for something like that you'd want to use a mock-up and something like illustrator's mock-up tool
