Yeah I think it was just harder to use, but mj v5 really is quite amazing in things that I think SD would struggle with a lot, and I just would always end up disappointed with SD in many ways

For a while early on it was the filter always blurring images that were nothing to blur at all, and just overall alot more clunky to use than MJ, and really people you need to understand these are products and they're sold like drugs

SD needs massive word salad prompting and a lot of greasy tinkering which will inherently limit it to enthusiasts

@wooden granite Nowadays stable diffusion is in my opinion better if you want more control, you can now choose how to pose characters, the hands don't look bad. You can choose the different parts of your scene through drawings and the new models are insanely good at making people and landscapes. But as you said, Midjourney is fantastic if you want to write a simple prompt and receive a great looking image

so SD does win in the regard of being free if you have a decent enough way to run it

and there are very easy all-in-one installers with GUI that make it simple

just to clarify. once you have generated images with firefly, it lets you pick one of the four generated ones as a reference image. this allows you to modify your prompt while seamlessly transitioning between the reference image and your new prompt via a slider. external reference images are currently not supported

it's not image prompting or img2img init

but there's a sexy slider you can control the noise with

here is how it works. you write a text prompt like "Man sits in a green car" - you then pick one of the four generated images of a man in a green car as a reference. after that you could modify your prompt to something like "man waves out of a blue car". then you can use a slider to transition between the original green car and the new blue car image @wooden granite

Just because adobe has lots of high-res stock imagery, does not mean they trained the dataset and images on high-res versions of those, they may have had to cut them down to a smaller size. the outputs are only about 2000 pixels I think

While that's all well and good, all anyone has to do is to take an image created with either Firefly, or any other A.I. image generation software, send it in to the USCO and slap a Creative Commons license on it, and it becomes theirs.

As far as I know, there are no discreet laws for this yet.

considering Ff will be integrated with other Adobe apps, like Ps, I think an interesting concept to have a toggle switch on the main Ui that lets users turn on/off Ai training on pen strokes, designs, art as its being made, etc. A user could turn off when working on business project, but allow it to train on hobby work. I would personally be cool with helping it train while im creating.
