As for trading value, I personally feel that the skins/hats are more valuable than the fireworks, especially if it's event skins/hats. But each person is different so it depends on who you're trading with, each person values something different.

hey sorry to bother i got a question, before one of the latest Bongo Cat updates you could hide it like any other games or activity on discord, but now it shows up no matter what and it isn't detected in the "registered games" category, meaning you can't hide it. even sifting through the "Add it" category doesn't find it. I've tested it on both of my computers and it's showing up on my profile on both and can't be toggled off on either.
Is this on purpose ?

hey out of sheer curiosity, why are these bundled with the game?

I'm digging through the code and stuff because I'm kinda astounded at how the game's taking an entire gigabyte worth of memory and over 2 after a prolongued use

I mean I know the game has a "Controller Support" mode but it doesnt have any form of VR overlay

From our side, you can also try a few quick things:

• update your Steam client
• clear Steam download/cache

I think it's because Bongo Cat and TTL are so closely linked to your inventory so if they're unable to ping the Steam servers, you won't be able to receive your item

#lobby-codes People post lobby codes there, just copy and paste it in the game tab (the middle one that looks like 2 cat heads). There's also a "Random" button in that tab in-game which lets you go to a random lobby just by clicking on it. You can also create your own lobby in that same tab.

the rewards and achievement items are not, I believe everything else is tradeable

• Items obtained from achievements are not tradable/not marketable. Items from the Rewards collection in the 2nd tab in game menu need to be checked individually - some can be sold/traded, others cannot.
• If you bought an item on the Steam Market, there is a 7-day cooldown before you can sell or trade it with someone.
• Items from the Bongo Item Store can be traded, but they cannot be sold.

Were the chances of getting different cosmetics changed recently?

I happened to get the porcelain skin a few mins ago from a chest and that was preceded by what felt like more uncommon than common cosmetics

I think I remember them being changed for the Chinese New Year event, but that was a few weeks ago and I would think any effects carried over from that probably would have been noticed, if not noted in a devlog

If any changes had been made, the developers would most likely update the information on the game’s Steam page first.

Try observing your own patterns: for example, I tend to get green items more often during my nighttime hours (like now and for the next ~4 hours), which is when the player count is at its peak. I mean when the game is around #5–6 on the charts: https://steamdb.info/charts/

Yeah, Steam usually has maintenance every Tuesday, so temporary lag/issues like boxes not opening can happen during that time. It normally doesn’t last very long though — usually around 10–30 minutes.

For big collection drops, events were predominantly seasonal/for holidays. They do a few smaller ones throughout the year such as during collabs where you can get exclusive skins

Right now their main collabs are with Tap Tap Loot and Typing Farmer if you wanted some of those items

This is a Steam limitation: invites are sent to the game that’s currently active (the one you opened last and have on top). And most likely when the person is online/away, not invisible
