Dunno about Thekal but on Giantstalker there are tons of players doing dungs, so finding a group takes like 1-15 minutes

Worst part is 56-58lvl, as higher lvls don’t care about classic dungeons and spam Outland. So you gotta grind those 2 levels on your own, but other than that - just spam dungeons

It took me twice as much time to grind 56-58 than it took me 58-61

Use WHATEVER item you have - priority is intellect/spell power for you

And if you really happen to play with a friend and you are a healer - just spam dungeons. There is a huge demand for healers and small supply, so you will find party VERY fast. And doing dungeons is way better for leveling because:

1. It is minimum twice faster (and if you really quest together with friend then you lose much xp while killing mobs for quests… which makes your lvling even slower)
2. It is much more fun than questing (“kill another 10 boats to get another items and bring them back to me”)
3. You get awesome iteams which makes you way stronger than while questing

As soon as possible - go RFC first, which should be available at 15lvl. You will find all eligible dungeons when you press “i” in game and choose “Dungeons”. Just keep singing up to all available and do them 🙂

Hey guys, After trying to get the FOR THE ALLIANCE and FOR THE HORDE achievement done a few times with different alts, the groups I run with tend to disband because the leads don’t know what to do, so I’ve decided I’m going to form groups myself to get the achievement done and I’d appreciate it if anyone could answer my questions so that I am better prepared when making my group. Q1. To my knowledge, we need two different raid with 39 players each to take down the faction leaders (raid 1 and raid 2)(total of 78 players) is this really the case? Or is it that there is one raid and you swap a person between raid groups similarly to how you used to swap shaman for lust or spriest for mana?

Q2. Can anyone be swapped between groups? Or does it have to be the main tank?

Q3. What’s the best route to take for each faction?

Thinking of playing classic although I have always been a retail player. I stopped playing shadowlands about 3-4 months ago. Is WOTLK classic really the goat expansion? Wotlk is overrated IMO but the overrating has its reasons

It's because people really loved arthas, people really liked the vibe and zones, and really liked ulduar

If you like very competitive stuff, M+, mythic and stuff, I'm not sure Wotlk is for you

but if you kind of miss banter/social stuff being easier to do (even though vanilla was more meant for this), want to experience ulduar and just idk

I'm having a phasing issue with my character that I can't seem to fix. I had a quest that sent me to Dalaran, which then sent me to Org. When I'm in Org, all the usual NPC's are missing. I can't train my spells or do anything, and there's some RP going on. I tried taking a Zepp to UC, and same thing, there's some RP going on and they are attacking UC with the green gas bombs, I can't even enter the city or I'll die. Thunderbluff seems fine, all NPC's are there as normal. I don't have any quests in my log that even refer to this event, so I'm not sure how to escape this phase. Any ideas? I've had friends port me to the Org and I get the same problem.

so, sadly you can only play it on wotlk classic servers

I like Wow, but they make it so group oriented. I usually like to solo things. I don't care how hard, it just has to be soloable.

there is no 5 main raids, the minimum is 10 men, unless you are willing to go hardmode

if you want to solo raids, you technically can enter by yourself, nothing besides the difficulty is stopping you

but, doing something like that is a certain feat of strength and requires serious preparation and end-game gear, at which point it is kinda pointless to do, besides the bragging rights

to bring it back to what Intervencion said, leveling is fun, going through different zones, doing quests etc, wotlk zones can be fun like that

make a group with some randoms through the group finder to do dungeons from time to time that are 71+, those are all 5-man

raids are end-game content, or to further explain, they are made for at-the-time maximum level

you could go solo as a let's say 75th level to Black Temple (70lvl raid), but it's not going to be much easier, since it is made for a group of 25 men 70 levels

granted, if you are very experienced at the game and with preparation and certain dose of luck, i'm sure you could give it a go

but don't be surprised if things inside one-two shot you to death

and to bring it to a close, wow is mmorpg after all, it's main focus is on multiplayer content with a wide range of content you can do on your own, you should just enjoy it all and have fun together

@AggrendWoW Hey, not sure when this became a thing - but whenever you swap to a helm with the Beaming Earthsiege Diamond meta gem in it, you gain the 2% mana instantly. You can also constantly swap in new metas as you're casting and gain 2% mana each time - is this intended?

It's not much different than the individual fight
First drake you just burn down, second and third you take care of portals. Important to time/coordinate the inside portal kill so you don't get hit with a lava wall on the way out

Sartharion is ignored until 3rd drake is dead

Alternatively you could Zerg Sartharion if you have 10k dps ST or so

we got him in 25man but 10 is way harder. especially bc our sarth-tank eats 35-40k flame breaths as soons as the third drake lands

Help means it's someone you can target with a heal or resurrect, a friendly unit/player

Dead means it's dead

The macro only works on friendly players that are no longer alive

And twice cuz the first one is a mouseover, and the second is default (target)

Say you have Bob targeted but you aren't using mouseover on him, the macro would still work because if mouseover doesn't find anything it will go to the target

You can read macros a bit like this:

I have a crafting spreadsheet hooked into Nexus Hub but haven't gotten around to updating it for WotLK recipes. To automate getting new recipes, I am looking for a noSQL type data source that includes Recipe Name, Spell ID, Product Item ID (if avail / default to enchant scroll), Crafting Requirements (Item IDs + Quantities)

@jolly lynx if your server is completely dead or extremely low population , i've noticed a free transfer option , when you log into your game , right by the character screen, there's on the left bottom side "Shop" , click it and click services tab , there'll be a free transfer option there , i have it even on a big server that i'm in . so you should have it too

Sorry maybe I forgot to clarify, I moved from Benediction to Earthfury with the free transfer option. I'm not sure if I can use it again. I might have to faction and server change in order to get any luck in finding a good east coast server.

I guess what happened was we did our do-dilligence the best we could, saw the server grow a bit, took the leap of faith, and sadly it came crashing down. We had some really good players but the population wasn't sustainable for our guild, people got mad over getting benched and our healer core started a mutany.

I really like playing prot pally and most other raids are looking for either heals or dps. I guess I need to adapt or die.

It just sucks because now my characters are split and I no longer have synergy, I was enchanting on the pally and tailoring on the mage.

For the quest, "The Black Knight's Fall", dismount immediately after talking to Squire Cavin to summon The Black Knight. He will bug and despawn if you fight him while on the Argent Horse.

This quest shows up as (Quest #13664) and is not accessible on wotlk wowhead, but shows up as normal on the retail wowhead.

It's probably like a cool down, since you bought a server transfer and then a faction change it's a internal cooldown on Blizzard's part perhaps, that or you have mail that's old and already looked at but having cleared from your mailbox so double check it all otherwise it's blizzards cool down give it like a day

oh bots, yeah well botting is gonna (hopefully) get them banned but outside of that it's just a perk of being a rogue if you want to spend your time doing that. i suppose, it no different from making gold any other way

first they farm botanica for 6 month no bans

now they farm 2.5k gph black temple

its impossible to be in gdkp raids if you not payed from outside by $
