@icy yarrow Well first time through after you get to Shadowlands (can get the quest at lvl 48 I believe) you go through the campaign which will be quests in each of the SL zones. Just do all of the "campaign" (can do the side ones if you like but not needed) and then at level 60 you'll get to choose a covenant.

Um nope. Unless you want to do arena or want to get gear through rated PVP then being decent would help, though you could also do rated battlegrounds (rated PVP starts at 60).

You can also get decent gear just through regular pvp (including or excluding unranked arena).

At level 50 you will start seeing icons on the map. Those are world quests. Those are simple quests, no quest givers. You just go into the area, do what you need to do, and the reward is deposited into your bags.

You might possibly need to become friendly with three main factions on your continent and get the whistle from your ship, but I'm not completely sure.

I had a similar problem. I joined in a level 60 character who was running her sister (who was at level 50) through it. It took some time and we all contributed some damage, but we did it. I think he mentioned that it was much faster when there is extra damage, so I imagine he did this solo earlier.

I am very new to WoW. Probably about a week or two in. This game, is seriously, confusing the fuck outta me. I'll add a starting point and give as much information as i can to receive as much help if possible but i am sorry in advance if this seems all over the place.

I made a Death Knight (unsure if this matters) and they started me in Zuldazar (aside from orgrimmar, the lich king place, etc...). I am unsure why they started me in BFA, being that was the most recent expansion (besides SL). I am not very far into the game and maybe that is why i am confused. I finish the entirety of the Zandalar region, all side quests, etc... i just haven't done the wanted quest. I was then asked to do The War Campaign. I figure i follow this before doing Shadowlands to avoid any story confusion.

I select the Heart of Azeroth quest. Whichever the name may be and this is where my confusion comes in. I am literally jumping around in regions to talk to one guy Magni then coming back to the Heart Chamber i think it's called. I feel so lost on why i even have this thing. I completed a quest where the thing literally jumped to 50 and they told me to put a essence in it, mind you, no idea what i'm doing, i'm just doing it.

I stopped here after syncing the device in the middle to different regions because i genuinely am confused as hell. I have no idea if what i'm doing is in the right order. If i should have done something else first. These regions have campaigns i am skipping for the sake of saving story. I genuinely just need guidance on what i should be doing after i complete Zandalar. Do i finish this Heart of Azeroth quest thingy or should i go back to the Port and do a different quest.

I understand this is a lot to read and if you did read it, thank you. I am just looking for a little clarification to make sure what i am doing is right and i'm not jumping ship or doing something in the wrong order.

The way Profs currently work is you have the whole range of the expansion since you train on it, but it's not split in expansions. If you want to level up Legion Mining you need to learn Legion Mining, and so on

Mining you will also probably need to learn the Smelthing recipes

Highmountain Tauren is the easiest to unlock in the game, but that's Horde. You can pretty much do everything you need on a free account. Then after subscribing, you only need to reach level 45, do their unlock questline, and voila. Vul'pera is very similar in ease to unlock, except that you can't pre-complete their zone on a free account and need level 50, but it's also in Zuldazar, where new players are naturally led to.

Finding the easiest on the Alliance side is more tricky. Void Elves and Lightforged Draenei are not too bad, but you need to sidetrack into Argus. It might be more efficient to reach level 50, gear up a bit, and then return to Argus to steamroll through it and those two races' unlock questlines. Dark Iron dwarves aren't too bad, but you need to complete one dungeon as part of their questline. If you already have Shadowlands and don't want to level all the way to 60 to solo it, you will probably want to lock your xp gain at 50 to be able to queue through dungeon finder.
