So I have been having a problem on my laptop with running wow where I go to launch it and its just a black screen. Can't ctrl alt delete to get out of it. Tried to wait for it to load for 30 plus minutes and it never did and can only turn my computer off and back on to get rid of it. I tried running the advanced options for launch with trying to change the directx version and tried to run it as windowed but neither work. Still a black screen and even as windowed it makes the whole screen black. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work either. I tried running aggravating. I also have the most up to date drivers. I tried getting rid of every overlay I can think of. I just don't know what else to try or do at this point and it is very aggravating.

Even for Jewelcrafting, the highest item level for their tool seems to be 564. Am I missing something, or is there a particular reason Enchanting gets an epic tool while others don’t?

Retail! I was told Classic has a huge skill curve that I'm a little too casual for

retail is a bit less social with there guilds. it’s mainly just for the perks. if you want a more interactive group classic guilds have more variety in like chill, to raids, to questing, to PvP, and role playing. But if your able to find a good interactive guild in retail i’m happy for you. i’ve tried and i’ve always had a hard time finding guilds and they typically end with drama or toxicity. So good luck!

Did you have at least one mask active? You just need to kill the end boss in the wing to get them to drop (of course also have the orb too)

(It drops in the chest not on any mob too)

Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Evokers are the only classes not recommended for new/inexperienced players solely because they lack a proper starting tutorial experience for the game itself. Experiment with different classes and specs until you find the playstyle that clicks with you the most.

yeah its not that deep. usually you use damage meters to compare your damage to your usual performance. perhaps you recently swapped some gear or started to do a different rotation and now your dps is different

or to compare yourself to other dps players. maybe they are doing far more damage than you. once you notice that you can look into the why and then into how to improve.

i tried to make a lockout for dragon soul, went through with Toon a, got to madness, went outside. invited toon b by alt tabbibg to second client, made into a raid, got the alt into the raid, left with other character, but now the raid lock is still wanting to save me 8/8

dragon soul has multiple mount drops tho on both difficulties but again, only one lockout per week

Hi guys, not sure where to post it so I'll try here.

For 2 days in a row now I've been trying to login to MoP Classic PTR which results in me being constantly disconnected. I've tried fixing game files, reinstalling the game, using VPN... and nothing. I have of course made a ptr account and have active game time.

Did anyone have similar issues and fixed it or am I doomed? I really wanted to get the serpent mount 😦

You don't get the mount from the PTR

You get it from the now love MoP Prepatch. Create a Pandaren and complete their starting experience.

Someone told me that running legacy stuff in a group, rather than solo, makes your mount chances go way down? Is this really true? Why?

it's not true, mount chances are rolled independently, running with other people doesn't reduce your chances unless of course you're all rolling on the mount after you loot it then yes it does in a way reduce your chances by a lot

I use bartender4 to play wow MOP classic.
I made all my mouse over correctly. (Also binded to my mouse bouton 5
When i put it on my bar 2, 3, 4,. 5 they just don't work...
But they work on my bar 1..
Anyone got this issues ?

Finded this : Mouse button issues:
If you're using mouse buttons (especially extra buttons) for your macros, they might be interfering with the mouseover functionality. Frames in the game can "eat" mouse clicks, preventing the macro from registering correctly.
