Under Settings -> Interface -> Names. There's a drop down. What do you have selected there?

Hi, I'm leveling a Fury warrior in Cataclysm Classic and I've just unlocked Berserker Stance. However, noting that I can't use a few notable abilities in this stance---including charge, which to this point has seemed pretty essential as an opener--I'm having trouble determining when exactly I should be using it instead of just sticking to Battle Stance, and all I can really find online is people asking about whether Arms spec should use it. So, when should I be using it, and when shouldn't I be using it?

Classic is how the game was at various points in the game's lifetime. Classic Classic is how it was in 2004. Cataclysm Classic is how the game was in 2009-10. Retail is the current game storywise and quality of life-wise. Any version of Classic is night and day different from Retail. If you are brand spankin' new to WoW, go Retail. I recommend a free trial to see if you even like it before throwing money at WoW.

ive ran ``/run print(IsSpellKnown(200025))`` (virtue) and it returns false, even when specced in, but the macro does in fact cast beacon of virtue if its first in the sequence.. 
when specced into faith and altering the command for it, it returns true, as i would expect

ive tried /cast beacon of virtue /cast beacon of faith and the second is still never parsed so it doesnt actually cast if specced into faith

any fix? or is this just a bug with the isknown tag? or something wrong with this kind of macro? basically it never completes the sequence of castings or wotever, the first part works fine, second part does not

spec shouldnt matter as you can transmog whatever you are wearing and then change spec. as long as you can transmog it with your current class/weapon you should be good

As in, the artifact is usable, just click the warglaive tab

Actually it might even work through artifacts, I’m too used to classes where it wouldn’t be possible (like ashbringer as protection paladin)

Actionbar setups are 100% player preference and depend entirely on your comfortability while playing and what keybinds you set for yourself. One of the most important processes during leveling is figuring out what "feels" good as you gain your abilities over time and set them up accordingly

You shouldn't have to manually click abilities. If your actionbar doesn't have a keybind, go into Edit Mode and select the actionbar and set some

Thanks! I'm dying, though, and my combat log isn't showing what killed me. This is happening shortly after I kill the big add Psychus. (In LFR a Mind Gate doesn't open, I don't think.)

GOT IT! Here's what I did: Psychus spawns immediately behind you as the fight starts. I pull him onto a tentacle, kill him. Click your orange body to return; it will be very close to you. Then I get the window to DPS Nzoth. After he’s invulnerable, kill tentacles while waiting for Basher (or crusher?) tentacles to spawn. Kill them asap. Between where they were, a mind gate will appear on the floor. Enter it, kill Psychus ASAP. Right behind you, your orange body will be on the floor; click it. Now you repeat this cycle:

DPS Nzoth
Kill Basher/Crusher tentacles
Enter Mind Gate
Kill Psychus, click your body
DPS Nzoth

Honestly it depends on what you can afford/support using. Some consumables like 1 hour augments, combat potions, elixirs, flasks, etc can get rather pricey if you're using them for every single pull and are best saved for more challenging boss encounters--especially ones that don't last through character death

Think of it as your own supply & demand management. If your elixirs and flasks are more expensive than you can afford then you definitely want to save them for content where it will matter the most--hard delves, mythic dungeons, raid bosses, and rated PvP mainly

Learning how to get directions from guards is something you should have encountered during the tour of your capital city after the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone. If you missed out on this and other tutorial quests, I'd strongly recommend making a new character (not an allied race, death knight, demon hunter, or evoker) and play through Exile's Reach and take the tour of your city again--solely to relearn important lessons on how to navigate the game

legit q for people here using plater profile, kinda a n00b q and a bit silly but do any of you guys ever find nameplates get in the way? I like having my nameplates big and chunky and easily readable, but I feel like especially on stuff like running Necrotic wake it can make the enemies really obscured, something that always gets me is the feckin nasty cleave on those giant skellies - do you guys use anything to make enemies or abilities more apparent? You slot the appropriate ones into the weapon like you would gems for sockets

Hi all! Im a M+ key pusher (currently 3k on both healer and dps). I tend to play early mornings EST to push keys, 4AM-11AM EST to be exact. Currently on Alliance, US-Area52, so finding groups or people queing is very low at this time.

If I were to consider a server transfer. To maximize both Alliance player population (for gear crafting), and to also find more active players in groups/que for M+ at the top 1% range.

What would the best server choice be for me? Really appreciate all the help, as this will be a permanent move to a new server home for me.

games could last for days, and there were side activities that empower you or summon npcs... which still kind of exist but no one cares xd
korrak's revenge is meant to remake the original bg, hence the activity tracker (200 timewalking badges or whatever it is)

in a sense they work the same way as now... we break 2 towers and rush the boss with other 2 mobs up

If you're new, myself and other experienced players will STRONGLY recommend saving your boost for a class you've already leveled before in current content. Leveling is so fast and trivial by default nowadays, but it's still an important process for learning how to play and becoming familiar with your class and spec. When you use a level boost you're immediately thrown to level 70 with all content safeguards removed and with all of your normal abilities and talents available with no context or familiarity on how to use it

NA? EU? Evoker is half your problem if you're absolutely brand new to WoW: it (along with Demon Hunter and Death Knight) are considered Hero classes--stronger than normal classes with their own starting experience. They're meant for players if they're comfortable with the game & have a good amount of playtime under their belt. I'd recommend pausing on the Evo, pick another class you'd like to try, do the Exile's Reach starting experience, and figure out what you like (tank, dps, heals)

Even whilst leveling it's not good. You lose 10% main stat (agility, in your case) if you're not wearing full mail. Thus, that piece you thought was an upgrade now just set you back

I've noticed this too. It's not lag tho. Lag doesn't affect your fps. I used to get 70 fps in Dornogal, dalaran, etc before 11.0.7 and now I barely get above 30 and it dips down.

I wouldn't say that at all. The saddle still makes it difficult to be dazed and dismounted, the water shoes still provide water walking, the parachute is still essential if you have a walking/flying mount like a shredder that loses speed and dismounts passengers between zones, etc

afaik this is not an item that we are able to get. its just a cosmetic appearence thats applied to your character (visible only by yourself iirc) while you have the buff off the same name.

Its listed as being one of the options for completing a certain step in ratts revenge since you should be able to complete that by either using one of the 2 toys or by actually having that buff still applied to your character. Just in case you read about it in the guide for the fel cycle.

sparks must be held by the person receiving the item after the craft is made. you can get easy sparks by doing delves. any tier delve will have a chance to give a spark of omen if you alt isn't at cap.

The issue is your level. Youre meant to be doing TWW to level, and chromie is only for leveling. You can’t do it that way.

The good news is, you can still start shadowlands. I believe it will be on the hero’s call board, however i may be mistaken. Best chance is to just google shadowlands intro quests.

Bad news, you can’t just go to the maw fresh in SL. As of Dragonflight, the alt skip for shadowlands was just removed for no real reason. They must do the ENTIRE Bastion & Maldraxxus campaign I believe at minimum. There’s a lot of people talking on the forums about it so you may find some advice there.

It’s been years since I’ve done shadowlands unlocks, there was a skip added in 9.1 and removed in Dragonflight’s Prepatch for no real reason. I know covenant campaign sends you there for Kel Thuzad’s quest chain as well as Revendreth does it for the necklace chain, but I really can’t remember specifics. It’s all foggy since some were pre skip and some were done when you could do covenants at 50-60 instead of 60.

and you lack the concentration to upgrade it

since on your previous screenie it was almost empty

so you will have to wait for your concentration to fill up, or use higer quality reagents so it goes to quality 2

Also not all sets show in the collection.
Sometimes you just have to look in appearances (like tops, bottom, etc)

Nope, m10 is the highest the vault will give. So it doesn’t matter that it’s 12/11/10 it could be m30 it would still give the same track and itemlvl

Take a thorough look over your spec's guide on wowhead.com to get a good idea of what's recommended to do and when under which situations, and start practicing in some Follower Dungeons. From there try out some random queues once you're feeling comfortable and work your way up. I'd also recommend asking for tips for specific healing specs in your class's discord server and practicing with a guild or group of friends. Learning your spec with a consistent group instead of randoms can go a long way to taking off the pressure
