Any of the armor type you wish to unlock, really. What makes warriors good for collecting mogs is the number of weapon types they can collect as well. Warriors aren't chosen for mog runs for their armor, it's the weapons

However, as always, it's still strongly recommended by most experienced players to NOT boost any class you haven't leveled to max before in current content. They do not, they only make leveling convenient by scaling with you as you level, but still can be outclassed by quest rewards at times. They do not provide bonus experience. Heirlooms are also a massive gold sink

For future reference, the channel number appears to the left of the channel name in chat. Keep in mind this isn't the same for everyone, as some people have additional chat channels. For new players and volunteer ingame mentors, /1 is Newcomer Chat and /2 would be General instead of /1 being General, for example

It will be a little harder at first due to the ilvl difference from leveling gear, but yes. I'd recommend doing world quests with gear rewards, the world events, and maybe also normal then heroic dungeons to gear up a little bit first

Are people always incredibly short tempered and just assholes in normal content? So far the first dun unlock and wanted to try out the mp content to see if she'd enjoy it and stick around since she usually runs raids/duns/svg in xiv and wife is 2/2 for getting flamed and vote kicked within seconds. First due to changing pet at start of run to the correct one since uses a different one for leveling and she was kicked before the summon popped off. Second she died and had to walk back (atal dazar) and was kicked for accidentally grabbing a single enemy though that kick vote didn't go through and guy left instead.

Yes, you do. You got your first dragonriding drake as a reward from Alexstrasza before starting that quest. In the Mounts tab of your Collections window, dragonriding drakes are at the top of the list under your favorites and can be filtered to search for specifically. If you're leveling, I'd recommend doing any content that scales to your level and earns experience. That includes side quests

Also keep in mind that in WoW, unlike some other MMOs (looking at you, FF14) side quests aren't always really optional. Some questlines unlock additional gameplay features and systems and can also be prerequisites for later campaigns

There is no official discord server from Blizzard. Also, you can open your Map & Quest Log to select quests and either abandon or hide them from your log and tracker. Quests are sorted by zones, so it's safe to abandon any quest not associate with Dragonflight. Green or Gray named quests especially, as these no longer grant good experience for leveling

It looks to me like you started the intro questline decided not to finish it and then hearthed out of the intro and dropped the quest. You prolly have the iron horde invasion/repelling to complete. Try flying to where the dark portal would be (just west of ashran)

You could also grab the quest id for the first few quests and check to see if that character has completed them or not

LFR refers to Looking For Raid, specifically the lowest raid difficulty that you can join random queues for individual wings of a raid. DF is the abbreviation for Dragonflight

LFG is more or less the catch-all term for Looking For Group, which is typically used interchangeably when referring to the Group Finder tool. Pug, or pugging, refers to random pre-made pick up groups that you join through LFG/the group finder tool whether they be for raids or dungeons

On which level should I think about armor/transmog that looks good on my character? Currently, I'm playing as a dwarven warrior cause I've heard it's one of the most popular choices lore-wise right after hunter class, but my armor is built from random elements that don't look good together and I really want for my character to look nicely. I'm level 11, so not even close to max level lmao

Honestly it's entirely up to you when and how you worry about transmog. The quest for style is always an ongoing one, but it can be a bit of a time and gold sink while you're leveling. You'll unlock more appearances as you go along, and my best advice for the cost would be "if you can't afford to buy it twice, you can't afford it." That said, you'll get more than enough gold for transmog as you quest and complete content

It's not a big deal, don't worry. They don't provide any actual effects other than increasing the item level of the legacy artifact weapons. The one you place in there is also destroyed when you put in a new one in the same slot with a higher item level

To be fair, that's mainly because the Legion artifact weapons are irrelevant aside from collecting the appearances nowadays

Before, those relics would also fill out the artifact weapon's talent trees or provide additional effects in addition to an increased item level

It is because of your statement of "thrown in the deep end" that it is heavily recommended for new players to never use their boost on their first few characters. Save your boosts for a class type you already know how to play (if you want a 2nd of that class). As you are new, take the time to learn your class. Figure out your rotation. Build muscle memory. Heck, figure out if you even like the class as you level. By boosting, you now have all these spells and no idea how to play the class

Anyone familiar with wowhead know what or who exactly is tracking kill count versus loot drop?
For instance, Lord Cobrahn in Wow Classic, has 9,066 kills logged.
I don't know any human with an addon in here tracking that, but is that what's happening?
Was having a debate on the accuracy of drop rates with someone last night who claimed the numbers were all guesses based off word of mouth reports and I didn’t have any tangible evidence to the contrary.

Prolly something that has been asked time and time again, but Im a returning player to WoW (stopped during Legion) and wanted to fully experience WoW, exploring all the expansions, but im just so overwelmed with the content I hv no idea where to start. Should I just play WoTLK classic till level cap and then move on to retail? Im not much interested in the end game (yet at least) i really jusnt want to focus on questing and ig the ocasional dungoning since i assume raiding will be harder.

For example I got some raid finder gear that I no longer need, should I just sell it?

raid finder gear is good for getting transmogs of tier pieces of LRF/normal if you convert them under 454itm then upgear to 454

You can still go back and play the old content--it's always there with or without Chromie Time. All CT does is scale the content for leveling and let you queue for random dungeons for that content

At max level you can only queue for random groups for current dungeons, but you can solo old dungeons just fine or create a pre-made group

Leveling is faster and more streamlined than default than it ever has been and you only need to play current content to be viable in current content, so there's no actual "grind" required. Just playing the game!

Oh that's really cool. I assume the concept of end-game where you reach max level is still there right? So my question is how many hours do you typically put into a character to push it to top tier gear/dungeons/bosses after hitting max level.

Hey all, Im getting back into WoW trying to figure out what I should be doing. Ive done the quest line from S2 in Zaralek, and so now Im in the Dream with an iLVL of 392. I know that the quest line will support me with gear, but I was wondering about the world events around me- do they drop on-ilvl gear, or should I ignore them for now, or something?

All DF WQs can drop gear that’s been updated for S3

If there's anything you haven't done, do it. Even older patch content is always worth doing because flightstones and crest rewards can be used to upgrade your gear

Don't avoid any content in Dragonflight. It's worth doing. You can get to 424 in a day of hitting 70 just playing world content without needing to touch an auction house, dungeon, or raid group

Dreamsurges and Time Rifts are also worth doing for the Veteran gear to help get you mythic or raid ready

Because you can still get Veteran gear from the vendors at Time Rifts and Dreamsurges, and you can also get flightstones and crests used to upgrade your gear

Sorry didn't mean to make you repeat yourself- I guess despite doing S2 things briefly, I never learned to appreciate how using flightstones and crests would make gear so powerful. Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion etc gear are the "tiers" with gradually better item levels. As they go up in tier, they can be upgraded to higher ilvl
