It's really just a mild inconvenience.

Just find someone below level 50 and use the Level Sync feature.

Otherwise, simply walk to the dungeon and solo it.

If the quest requires you do the dungeon on normal, you should be able to solo it.

if that doesn't work then backup interface folder plus WTF and also if using say elvui export your profile string

if repair didn't work the next option is unistall and reinstall to force it to redo any stuff like DX libraries etc

bad news is if driver update and/or re-install didn't work then it's a busted GPU indeed as that first one is a texture fail and the second looks heavily artefacted

yeah you have to wait that out and participate in the next battle which starts near the other guy where you got that quest. darion will stand there with some death knights and you will have a counter at the top telling you how long till the next battle.

I had the fun of allied looking for Heart quest, and then later the whole war campaign stalling because I'd never actually done the Orderhall campaigns due to having a weapon loom

you can't skip the "questline" without having done it fully on another character, you just need to find where the last place you handed a quest in for it is and pick it back up there

I need some help understanding raid lockouts: Once I have a lockout for a timewalking raid, can I not join any more runs until I lose the lock?

I had a group that spent 6 hours but disbanded right at Illidan, and new group I'm in only wants a fresh run. I don't have any more time available for Black Temple this week.

Loot lockout usually means you just cant loot that boss again but killing multiple times (just without loot for you) should still work. Dont know about any black temple specifics tho

if you press an ability it has a normal cooldown like mage Combustion has 2 minutes and then there's a global cooldown of .5 seconds that applies to almost everything

it's basically so you can't spam things infinitely fast

honestly as normal player you usually don't care. The fact that you didn't notice it so far proves that since it's already displayed in the UI (the buttons grey out and then come back for a very short time)

the only point where it's important is if you are trying to macro certain stuff together since there's some abilities/trinkets that aren't on it

You dont even have to. Since it affects almost everything you only have to pay attention to the ones that are not on the gcd because that means you can squeeze those in while the others are on the gcd

@hasty spearphil is right.. at shorter gcd you have to account ping (due to very lower end pc that is 300 ms for me), time for reaction and following each proc, you have less time to move during instant casts, and less time to find the key
ff's 2.5 sec isnt bad at all, if the game gives you something to do while waiting - i havent played it but some call its fights dancing and that'd ftw

Just did an unsuccessful 3-hour run of Timewalking Black Temple just on Illidan alone. We had situations where tanks kept losing aggro on flames of azzinoth, with nobody particularly far away from both glaives at once. Is this a bug or is there legitimately a thing where high DPS pulls aggro off the tanks?

high DPS pulling aggro off tanks has always been a thing if they 1) burst over threat and 2) the tank can't hold threat well

it's why raiders, especially back then ran stuff like Omen to monitor threat so they didn't hit the magic 130% of tank value

Omen was a Threat Meter back in the days, currently I think folk use Details and then TinyThreat for monitoring threat

basically everyone generates Threat, Tanks have ways to boost it on top of an innate boost anyway to allow them to "hold" the mob

if the DPS is doing that much that the tank either can't immediately taunt/recover it or they're just a bad tank?
