It takes much longer than retail. You'll die a lot more, you can't just run into areas and kill 5 things with ease (at the start at least).
I've played casually for few days and only got to 16 (and I'm very much not be to wow), it just feels more grindy and you need to kinda plan your attacks better.

I'm level 136 and i can talk to my Artisan tailor, although when i want to purchase some of his skills, as you can see on the picture, they are all either green or red...I'm confused because green gives almost no xp...i used to have orange and yellow. What am i doing wrong ?? If he only sells me green outfits to make, it will take FOREVER !!

I also recently got Smite's Hammer from my first ever run of Deadmines. Very slow at 3.5 but has a large amount of damage and is 19.7

With my bonus damage from my Seals, should I focus more on slow but hard hitting or decent but fast to get that extra damage from Seals?

Does anyone know how the Wowhead client collects data for drop rates of items that can appear twice on a boss? Such as weapons from Kel'Thuzad? For example, I've noticed a large disparity between the drop rates of Kingsfall between AtlasLoot and Wowhead (21.7% and 14.33% respectively), but as far as I know both systems use the same method (gathering large amounts of data from their addon users). Actually @short mural I'm not trolling. That's the problem with gammers now adays. They want things easier. Just look at the addons for Retail. DBM or w.e. tells the player with countdowns every little thing the boss is gonna do. I just memorize the fights and adjust my playstyle accordingly. Haven't touched an addon.

Could also look for dungeon groups. Keep in mind. Classic does actually have some windows where you just dont have things to do, and grinding out a level is your best bet. Doing easier (green) quests is better than dying to orange quests.

Any time youre a few bars/bubbles away from a level and ready to move to a new town/zone i prefer to grind out the last bit of the level with kills to space out quests a little more.
