3. Toggle metronome on/off → spikes.
4. Mute/unmute tracks → spikes.
5. Pan left/right → spikes.
6. Delete tracks → spikes.

[BUG] No Input devices found in Studio, cannot arm track to record
Platform/Browser: Web (Chrome on Win11)

Description: Input device dropdown menu is not populating on Track List (yet direct microphone access works fine in the Create screen + Audio Recorder)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a fresh Chrome instance
2. Go to Suno Studio
3. Try to select input device for a track (1st screenshot) (I already gave Suno automatic permission to access my input devices, see 5th screenshot)

• "Finding inputs..." spinning wheel will appear for a split second (2nd screenshot)
• Icon in Chrome's URL bar will indicate microphone is being used (3rd screenshot)
• However, the input list remains empty and nothing happens when selecting the menu again in any track. (Same as 1st screenshot except no border around dropdown menu)

Screenshot 4 shows that audio works fine in the Create recorder.
Screenshot 5 shows that my microphone settings are correct.

Hey tsunderestrom! I'm unable to reproduce this issue. What version of Chrome are you using? Also, looks like you're using an audio interface right? Could you try unplugging and plugging it back in? Maybe see if you have the correct drivers. If the issue persists, please send over a screen recording with console open please!

Hello! I had a tiny bit of feedback for Studio's EQ section. In my opinion, i think that the gain knob could use 2 different modes. The first being more surgical, a new ''default'' of max +6 db gain. and the second being a wider range, which is now the default +16 db. Why? +6db gain is more than enough for most if not all things you'd need to EQ. Also, it would make it possible to do more subtle changes easily as the knob would allow you to EQ things more subtly and more surgical. +16db is about 32 times louder as 1db, and that would mostly only be necessary when doing low/high cuts. If someone wants to dip the mids just a tiny bit, or add just a tad of high end, you quickly overdo it in its current form.

Hi, I am really pleased to see the introduction of the ability to create 'dry' (i.e. without FX) versions of the stems within Studio, however the actual implementation is a little clunkier than I was hoping for. Ideally the 'export multitrack' would include an option to export all tracks 'dry' (and ideally 'centred' in the stereo spectrum). Having do it at the individual clip level, whilst providing flexibility, could be very time consuming - particularly if the song was constructed within Studio with lots of small clips per track. Leaving the current implementation but adding the global 'dry' option at export time would give the best of both worlds.

Hi, also a big 'Bravo' for the new flexible time signature support - 3/4 and 6/8 will be really useful for country and Americana tracks!

I am on Chrome version Version 144.0.7559.133 (Official Build) (64-bit) which is reported as up to date.
When I run in incognito (i.e. all cookies, cache cleared) I still have the same effect
my Windows version is Windows 11 Education 23H2 (I believe Education is the same as Pro, I got it from a Microsoft partnership with my university)
OS build 22631.6491 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1108.0
I tried the unplugging and replugging and I still have the same issue. I don't think its an issue with any particular device because as mentioned I am able to use all of my input devices fine with the Create tab's + Audio Record tool.

When I click the dropdown menu, this comes up in the console. This happens even after a fresh restart. The other recorder still works fine.

the MIDI is more of a "listen to this stem and try to write it in sheet music" and less of a "this is the sheet music used to make the stem"

Unfortunately, downloading in Studio, we cant seem to pull up the stems in the Get Stems module, the "See extracted stems" link after extracting in Studio, isnt found in the legacy Get Stems module

But we can Get Stems and then use Studio and find our stems already available in Studio.

By the using Get Stems module, we have an additional choice to download stems as "WAV- Tempo locked".

Why isnt WAV- Tempo locked option available in Studio as well?

Ergo, I am requesting such feature.

I made a 1 minute output. We can create a persona from it.

I them remastered normal. And you're right, Make Persona is greyed out.

It'd be nice if you could add a basic reverb to the tail end of split tracks. I have a song with two voices, generated the song with one voice singing all parts, took it into Studio and extracted the stems, then did a cover of the vocals with the second voice. Now I've gone through and cut the appropriate parts out, but it can be difficult to get a clean break between phrases when the voices carry over. Fading the ends works in some cases, but in others if you could just have some reverb extending past the cut part it'd help to mask the cuts, as well.

Remastering works sometimes, but it can also end up blending the voices, even if it's set to subtle

i'll tell you a little secret - open up that remastered track in either the editor or Studio, make sure the project BPM is on ''follow original'' and not on manual (this messes with audio quality if not done) and simply render it and try that again 😄

This is exactly the same issue I reported..but on Chrome in OSX... it works in create but not studio...same symptoms... no audio input is available ..it was discussed in studio bugs but I cant find that channel now

its actually changed slightly since then in that the first audio input DOES now show, but dropdown box is not working so we cant select an input and record can be armed but it doesnt actually record when pressing main record button on lower bar of app ..it doesnt work

When I try to use audio warp it freezes studio. I have to close and reopen the program, but it causes so much freezing I actually can't use it. I think it would be a perfect tool for my lofi song rn

My general feedback about Studio after having it available for so long:

I love it and also hate it, but a lot of the hate is less about studio and more about how Suno generates stems. Studio should by all rights be an amazing tool and it really is one, but every single time I generate stems from a song to put into lanes the song will have glitches, hiccups, or other problems that simply don't exist in the original, and every time I work with studio I'm constantly fighting this problem.

Stems also don't appear to be volume normalized quite correctly so inevitably the song as stems just sounds very different than the base, and studio can't really help understand why or how to fix that, or if it even can.

I still end up doing a lot of good work with it, and it does reduce the amount of post-prod with exported stems, it's just the stems themselves that are such a problem

This is my biggest issue with Studio, but it's also a problem in general. Stuff like that destroys basicly that gen beyond repair and becomes unusable.. I still plead for a ''Regenerate'' feature that simply regenerates a stem/song. It should check the song for issues and/or problems like that, volume balance, frequency balance, noise, mono/stereo issues, instrument separation, that sort of stuff. Basicly re-evaluate the song. Such a feature would probably be appreciated by many, if not all. I think we all got a few songs that could benefit greatly from something like this. Or use it to upgrade from older molders perhaps as well.

This used to be possible before the last two major updates fundamentally broke it
You used to be able to simply click the stem you wanted recreated, and pending your audio slider settings wasn't set so high that it brought in other instruments, it just worked... input your style tags and click recreate, and the majority of the time at least for me this worked fantastically, now was it remotely close to perfect, hell no.. But it was at least passable and...at least it generated that instrument...
Now getting any kinda single instrument generation that remotely keeps the context of everything else is near impossible... And I wholeheartedly agree with the love hate of studio, and while don't get me wrong any update that brings more features is always appreciated, but holyyyyy it's like nothing they do is internally tested before they just full send that bishh out to public. 🫠

I'm reporting a technical issue during checkout. I tried to upgrade to the $30 Monthly Premier plan, but the screen froze for 15 minutes. I followed some troubleshooting steps and tried again, but the screen froze a second time.

I have not received any payment receipt and there is no charge on my card yet. However, 1,000 credits suddenly appeared in my account instead of the 10,000 included in the Premier plan. My account also shows a 'billing error' message in red.
Could you please check my status? I want to make sure I won't be double-charged if I try to update my billing info again. Thank you!"

Sorry to hear the wires got crossed during the plan upgrade. Rest assured you have been upgraded but something is amiss inside the processing of it. Suno is aware this issue is occurring but this is not where to request help. Suno technical staff doesn't patrol this channel.

The way to contact them is to open a ticket in #support-guide and await their resolution. The staff is pretty backlogged at the moment but they're working on resolving that.

Please contact them only once about the issue because multiple emails only cause further delays as the team must check every email sent.

Hello Suno Team, why can Studio only cover 4-minute tracks? What's the point of that? My songs are regularly over 4 minutes long, and Studio cuts them off at exactly 4 minutes? What's the reason for this? It makes the whole Studio unusable!

[BUG] Region style box limited to 200 characters in Suno Studio
Platform/Browser: Web (Brave on macos)

Description: When adding a new stem (track or track region) in Studio, the initial (collapsed) Style prompt text box supports up to 5000 characters but if you expand the region settings (which includes the Advanced settings) the Style prompt box only supports 200 characters.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Suno Studio
2. Add a new track
3. Define a region on the track (any size)
4. In the Style area select any instrument type
5. Paste or type enough to cause the Style prompt to popup the expanded Style prompt, you can see in the bottom right it is XXXX/5000 character count/limit
6. Expand the Style settings/controls
7. Highllight and delete the Style prompt characters
8. Paste in. a block of text > 200 characters, it will clip anythinng over 200 characters and in the bottom right the count/limit is XXXX/200

Suno studio seems to deliver full tracks or several instruments even when covering a separate track part. More miss than hits. So many credits down the drain. Yes I choose drums/bass whatever in the box below. Describe my instrument and boom I get a new track. Not just drums or bass or whatever I use. 6-7 times out of 10 I get nothing that I want.

i have a feature request for studio that would hopefully make it easier to apply a range of changes through it quickly and easily and allow you to have different blueprints for different styles or genres. hard to describe what i mean, so i will be making a video to show an example of it soon. this post is kind of a note to myself to do that so i don't forget. 🙂

Make it easier to use extend to replace part of your song, or make a new option if you want to replace a selection. Help studio make a more seamless and realistic replacement for that selection. I've tried using studio to replace sections of songs I don't like or bad audio and it doesn't work very well.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to ask this but did anyone notice the vocals on Suno Studio yesterday were weird? There was model instability even withoug prompt changes, the same configuration produces drastically different vocal behaviors across regenerations. I had to run the same song multiple times simply to obtain one clear, correctly articulated vocal performance. I ran the same song all day long, fixing the tags and prompts and got one, not very clearly articulated but it completed to a point where I could fade out because the song simply stopped mid sentence.

I reported so many bugs yesterday I needed a bath afterward. It was wild

SUPER ANNOYING BUG ! !!!! when i grab more than 1 song and add to STUDIO and I change EQ to bass boost - I cant select all tracks and EQ change all of them - but thats not it!

when i select a individual track and then click EXPORT FULL SONG - hold your microphones - it changes the SONG TITLE on EXPORT. (to the song which you previously exported - refresh page does not help - I had 12 Songs with the same Title )

next question - why do you call it EXPORT SONG? it is not an EXPORT - Export was getting Stems out of Suno.

and now comes the BIGGEST ANNOYANCE - seriously , I SPENT far too long on this marvellous piece of technology ... hold your airguitars - IT CREATES A NEW IMAGE !!!! so when I return to my workspace - a SONG after EQ Change has a new image... WHY???

you have to rework the font sizes, I can hardly read my song titles, but I can see a big "key like e flat, or f min, or what you cal these.

I am so annoyed with the interface.

while i am at it - in STUDIO MODE depending on the layout "find the play button" .... omg.

while I am at it, in the normal default Workspace the SEEK BAR is exactly 1 pixel and occasionally gets covered by a info panel when you delete a song.

while I am at it. - out of my not 1 000, not 2000 , not 2500 , close to 3 000 songs (give or take) - listen DEVELOPERS - I cant figure out if I added a song to a PLAYLIST or not.

if I have a SONG in 1, 2, 3, or 4 PLAYLISTS or none.

while i am at it. the BLACK in darkmode is too black, the white is too white (yes i know about greasemonkey scripts and darkmode etc).

Ok, my previous post is gone? Someone asked me to dm the problem I have with Studio, but I can't find my post or their answer to me. So again: I'm having a problem with the stems, where the strings, in particular, aren't separated in tune, or often not separated at all. I have a sample track where I created the stems, and although the music consists of piano, violin, and cello (acoustic), the strings aren't separated at all within the stems, but are placed in the FX stem and synth stem combined with synth and some percussion. This approach is unworkable for me. I wanted to DM this as an example to the person who requested it, but I can't seem to find out who that was. Please contact me?

Also, not Studio related, but I don't know where to report: it's impossible to extend songs any longer, the sound is becoming strange and unusable, a very serious drop in quality. I've been experiencing this for days on every track I try to extend. I've spent hundreds of credits on it and have come to the conclusion that extend is completely unusable.
And this is not to mention all the initial generation issues where I got a track lasting 7:58 with about 4:00 of one incredibly high-pitched sound, or my song suddenly started over in the middle of a song.
What's going on?
I've reported so many bugs this past week that my hands are sore.

Unless its happening with many others for a trendy bug, the best you can do is report as a bug. With changes in Studio 1.2, there could be some residual effect on some users use of stems.

To see if its consistent to stemming and not just that song, you could stem out several other non-relatable outputs as well. Or go to another project and see how often it happens.

I was stemming all day yesterday and didnt have issues with stems being withing a range of appropriate for the instrument. But as for synths, thats always a wildcard as synths often emulate instruments themselves, it may not always be easy to figure out what's what.

It's Unworkable for me, since I (almost) always use strings in my songs. I haven't had a single song yet where the strings were correctly placed in their own voice. This is going on for months, from the moment I started using Studio, it's not a one-time bug.

I probably dont use enough strings to see the specific issue, even in testing. I'll keep a lookout as well.

It needs to be repeatable so they can test. So provide at least three examples in the bug room or even here and the steps taken, as simple as 1) clicked Extract Stems in Studio. Every time, whether 2 stems or 12, the strings are mixed in with FX on the first extraction.

2. When I tried extracting the FX stem itself, the strings were not separated then either.

3. when making a cover of the FX, and then stemming THAT output, I still get no clear separation.

Also here you usually leave the feedback in the fitting room and then it gets collected in intervals and then implemented if it fits.

sometimes the ideas evolve into things, or it just needs some time until its usable.
What you can be sure of is that nearly everything that is sent to them in the proper way to find them (feedback form, or the feedback channels here) will be taken into consideration. Because the ideas are often really really good all of you send in.

Feedback / Suggestion for Free Plan Improvements. 🎛️

Hey Suno team! I wanted to share a suggestion based on extensive use of the free plan, especially with audio uploads and instrumental extensions.

1️⃣ Increase Audio Influence to ~50% on the free tier
With Audio Influence locked at 25%, uploaded references often feel more “inspirational” than authoritative — even when the audio is clean and carefully prepared. Raising it to around 50% would greatly improve fidelity and reduce failed or wasted generations, while still preserving creativity since Weirdness and Style Influence would remain at 50%. This would make uploads feel meaningfully respected without reducing the value of paid control.

2️⃣ Make remastering free (using daily credits)
Allowing remastering on the free plan — consuming daily credits just like new generations — would be a huge quality-of-life upgrade.
Remastering doesn’t create new songs, doesn’t compete with premium features, and encourages refinement instead of endless regeneration. It’s efficient, creative, and sustainable.

Together, these changes would:
Reduce user frustration
Improve perceived model intelligence
Increase long-term retention
Preserve paid tier value

I can't afford to pay for anything online, and the generations I create are mostly for personal use anyway. Just thinking about something that can benefit everyone instead of just the paying users.

If i want to have something for free that usually means i have to do some of the steps by myself to replace the thing that happens that would need money.

Imagine the limitations not as limitations but as a challenge. And the challenge is to get the same cool stuff with using less or different tools.
Thats a great creativity boost.

I have also worked with a free plan when i started with suno. It was challenging to get specific things... but then i realized its way simpler to get super specific things if you have more then just the free credits.

I've said before that it's extremely difficult to maintain fidelity because the sliders were designed precisely to deviate as much as possible from the original. Having to treat this as a challenge every time, while wasting multiple generations, ends up becoming less of a challenge and more of an obstacle, while paying users can get what they actually want right away without any issue. This didn't happen before in the days of v3.5 and only further increased the inequality between free and paid users. Now, I'm not saying everyone should have a premium experience, but I still think free users deserve a good and consistent experience, and it wouldn't be fair to diminish the quality of that experience, especially since v3.5 proved that there is a middle ground. That's how I see it, so I hope you can understand my point of view.

I think i found the issue...
Its not that paying users have any kind of advantage in speed of creation. They just have more tools to make the AI dice roll different so to say.
They can use the more expensive to run models which give other results.

If you can manually cut and stem and reupload you can basically immitate a lot of the paid features. .. P.s. what i am trying to do is to give you tipps to work around, as i think the free stuff will most likely stay similar to how it is now (it can always change... its always transforming... you know).

2. all got some combo of Synth and Strings. One, for example had just one solo in strings in "version one" stem. In "version two", the strings were 5 X more sound but basically pulling more of the synth parts into strings, since they were pretty much interchangeable.

3. For interest, I made a String cover of the Synth. Got two full length string covers of the same that Synth were playing before, which I suppose I could pick and choose what I want for strings and blend with synth.

4.a.) I downloaded only the synth Stem, then uploaded and stemmed out just the original "version one" synth stem
4.b.) of these stems Suno alternated between having a full-on strings section , version 1, and synths coming in more bass and only on the second half of the output, and FX taking some of the string section on version 2 -- as long as they were string solos, it doesn't matter if in FX or Strings.

So, you're right, there's not much in whether its synthetic strings or synthesized string sounds, so Suno can often mix and match between the two. That much is true. But I also got a good split both with Version 2 , and to both when stemming the stem of synth to give me another version containing more strings.

And of course, Covering the Synth Stem, just gave me a solid 3 minutes of strings, with one version adding in a harp solo.

So, you're right, its not perfect on the first try. But there's options.

Yes, regarding manual editing, that's exactly why I didn't include it in my suggestion, because you can do it elsewhere without much difficulty; it just takes time and the willingness to do it. My problem isn't the editing, it's the fact that no matter how accurate your description is, the model will still deviate significantly from the original no matter what, since the Audio Influence at 25% doesn't do you any favors. All the other sliders like Weirdness and Style Influence are perfectly balanced at 50%, so I don't see why Audio Influence can't be, since neither creativity nor fidelity dominates the other in that percentage, it's exactly in the middle, which gives you a fairer chance of achieving the result you want without having to constantly fight against the system. Free remasters using daily credits would also be good, since it's not as resource-intensive as new audio; in fact, the file size is the same. This means that it wouldn't affect their business, and free users could upgrade their older generations at will without causing significant generational waste. At the same time, it wouldn't reduce the value of paid plans, since paying users still have a large number of great exclusive features, so the incentive to upgrade would still be significant. In other words, it's literally a win-win situation, which is why I truly believe it would make for a better and fairer experience for everyone, and I would love it if that happened.

Yes, I just saw it now, but in my case I'm not creating an original song. I'm trying to create an extension for an existing song that I have downloaded on my phone. The problem is that v4.5-all with Audio Influence at 25% functions in the music as a remix, and not as a proper extension, while v3.5 actually made extensions that sound official, you know? Sure, I don't expect the new model to be exactly the same as the previous one, but if it can at least be more forgiving in fidelity (with Audio Influence at 50%), that would be enough. A free remaster using daily credits wouldn't hurt either, since the more concrete results, the better, lol.

Not sure if this is a bug, but when in studio, if I select a track and create a remaster of just that track, it will open the remaster modal as expected. If I play a song from that menu, it seems to be disconnected from the play button in studio itself, so if you close the modal the remaster track you were playing continues to play in the background, and there's no way to stop it except to click on the track, and open the remaster menu again.
The remastered track shows up in the left-hand siderail, but it doesn't show itself as playing there. If you click play on anything else on that page while the the remaster is still playing in the background, it will start the other one while the background still plays, with two tracks going at once.

Again, many others also have issues, so its more about the timemark that we extend from, likely, more than sliders.

**Tip: **the Audio Influence slider determines how much your sample will impact the new song generation. Don’t be scared to turn it all the way up!

This means that Audio Influence is the main culprit for v4.5-all always deviating from the original in the free plan. After all, it's only at 25%, which is far too low compared to Weirdness and Style Influence, which are at 50%. The fact that they didn't make Audio Influence 50% is also what confuses me the most, since it hinders more than it helps. I hope this has helped you understand.

Hello. Great product. Like thousands before me, I have a few UX thoughts if I may.
In Studio: it looks like you're saving on detected change with no other timing checks which is creating UI updates with the 'Saving' notification too often, especially during inference. The end user is drawn by that flash at the lower right and IS going to look down at it to make sure that it is only the 'saving...' notification and not something they haven't seen before. That context switching to read the notification and the eye travel back and forth from the track area to the notification area and back from a UX perspective increases cognitive friction and effort.,
You might:
Check on detection of change AND that a minimum of x minutes has passed. or,
Allow the user to waive being notified on every save. or,
Move the saving notification to where the user's focus already is, up around the top of the track area.,

In Studio: The end user who does not have a lot of experience with music creation is amazed at what they can be a part of creating. As is the nature of ML, the output can be close to perfect except for one or two glitches in the generation. There is a natural fear of "messing up what I have already." The Studio UI could provide a more clear sense of 'This is what you started with' and 'This is a proposed change'. That feeling has increased now that the 'Original' row has been removed. If a user presses 'copy to Main Track', they'll wonder where does what they had go? Wait, I want it back. Whether it's coloring the proposed alternates differently or some other way to call them out, it needs to be evident to the user which clips represent their initial, unmolested, starting point. It also probably wouldn't hurt to either pop some tooltips or one-time notify the user that if they take a song into the Editor or Studio that it's creating a new, working copy and doesn't modify the original...it will always be safe and sound in their Library.

Today's notes:

1. Redundant and blocking visual feedback: when deleting a song, clip, or stem, the object disappears from the UI which is enough feedback. Popping the "...has been moved to the trash" notification is both redundant and blocks any controls located at the bottom of the window. It's certainly legitimate feedback to confirm which operation was executed (maybe they intended to move an object to a workspace and not delete it), but not at the expense of the user having to wait for a dialog to disappear before they can continue working. There probably needs to be a designated notification area or status bar where notifications for move, save, or delete operations can be expected to always be in the same place.

2. Additional cognitive effort without a clear benefit: for any location where clips, songs, or stems are listed there are several small improvements that can be made.

a. Unnecessary visual cues: The Remix/Edit button needs to remain visible all the time. The user shouldn't be required to remember where invisible controls are or what is possible. If the functionality is available it should visible unless the user wants it hidden. In the future it's possible there will be objects that cannot be edited or remixed, and those can be distinguished by the lack of a Remix/Edit button.

b. Duplicated menus: The Remix/Edit options accessed via the button are duplicated as a nested menu in the meatballs context menu. It makes it appear as if there is more functionality than there is, and the user is forced to start parsing through the meatball menu to determine that it is a duplicate. (behavioral sciences and UX - it's milliseconds and subconscious, but they add up to affect the experience)

Either the Remix/Edit button goes away and that functionality is accessed through the meatball menu, or it remains visible for every object that can be operated on and the duplicated menus removed from the meatballs button.

I’m having a really hard time getting clean, non-layered stems in Studio.

Issue: When I Cover an extracted guitar stem (or any isolated part) to refine/clean it, the output reintroduces drums + bass bleed most of the time. Roughly 70% of guitar-stem covers come back with obvious full-band bleed (kick/snare, bass fundamentals). This has burned thousands of credits trying to get usable isolated parts (guitar, bass, choir, strings, etc.).

Expected: Covering a stem should stay faithful to that stem’s instrument, or provide a reliable strict isolation option.
Actual: The model often “helpfully rebuilds the band” inside the covered stem.

What I’ve tried (no luck):

• Shorter selections (a few bars up to 16 bars)
• High audio/reference influence with low weirdness
• Fresh project with only the stem as the reference
• Remove FX and Cover
• Multiple reruns of the same section to brute-force a clean pass
• RX 11 cleanup on the stem (spectral/transient repair to remove ghost transients) before Cover

If this is a known limitation with Stem+Cover, it would help to have:

• A true instrument-locked Cover mode for stems
• A stem purity / bleed tolerance control
• Official guidance for reliably getting isolated stems without gambling credits
• Or a consistency/continuity feature for songs over 4 minutes

Happy to provide a specific example track + timestamps to help reproduce.

When personas were first upgraded to the new version, the vocals sounded brighter and everything was working as expected. However, recently the same persona is generating vocals that sound noticeably different from the original tone and quality. Nothing has been changed on my end, so I’m wondering:

I just can't get SUNO to stop doing full stack of instrumentals in Studio. I have split the song into stems. I highlight the vocals (first verse) then i choose vocal and cover in Studio. It always generate full background and vocals. Not only the vocals. I want to use SUNO as my top liner since I'm obviously not good at singing. I can write lyrics and melodies but singing is another issue. But SUNO is not delivering what I tell it to do and soooooo many credits have been wasted due to bad generations, it's frustrating. If you choose vocals in the box it's not only doing the vocals (ever)....

Most find that if they go to their Library and click off Hide Stems in their filter that the stems have already materialized. The Get Stems module can sometimes lag behind and get stuck spinning. Try there and check first before clicking for Stems more.

So, we.would go out of Studio, check the Library, confirm, then go back in Studio and often that "refresh" maneuver will also show them in Studio.

Hello, does anyone know when the studio will be fixed?

Let me explain: in version 1.1, I was able to upload my voice to create an instrumental based on the rhythm of my vocals, and it worked perfectly. But since version 1.2, the voice files I upload to Suno always get partially cut off, or it no longer creates a production that is properly aligned with my voice. It would be great if Suno allowed users to choose the Studio version, because 1.1 was working perfectly for what I needed to do with it.

I also noticed that since version 1.2, when you just want to create a guitar or a synth, Suno adds instruments that were not requested. It’s a shame. I think the previous version was much better optimized. I can’t work the way I used to with the older version anymore.

I’m getting as frustrated as you, but they’re doing their best. If I had to make a recommendation to the Suno managers, it would be to allow users to choose the Studio version. Version 1.1 might be more useful for some people, and 1.2 for others.

I feel that with 1.2 you have less creative freedom, which used to give users a real sense of control over their creation. I hope they fix this or at least give us the option to choose the Studio version.

I like the idea of the studio, but the RNG and oddness of creating stems are sometimes wasteful. Some times i feel like the stem creations need to have sliders. Like regular song cereation!

When creating a new vocal track in Studio, it would be very helpful if we could use personas - it would make the whole thing that much easier and more useful. It would also be nice to be able to recreate a track (i.e. have another try as it isn't right or a lyric change is needed). It looks as if that should be possible but I find it just reverts to a "cover" instead - which could be wildly different. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I usually just end up deleting and creating a brand new track instead. As someone above said, sliders (weirdness, style and audio) could also be helpful!

Also, while not as bad as it was, I still get unwanted instruments included in new stems (i.e. not the instrument I asked for - added drums, for example). Sometimes these can be removed if I break the new stem into stems ... but often not)

Is it actually possible to make it change the text of a fragment without changing the notes?

If you try to replace part of the lyrics, it simply completely remakes that vocal fragment, changing the notes, timbre, and singing style.
You can’t just tweak it slightly in the places you need… you just get a new generation of the selected track fragment, without any connection to the previous result.

In its current form, it’s useless for creating anything truly worthwhile.
Maybe I just haven’t figured it out well enough yet?

Often for me, just using the "fixed" element found in the Edit UI can get more precise and maintain some of the elemental melody. Of course there are other techniques, especially if using Studio, where we cover just the verse or section alone to get the same melody, making just that one-word change, then splice it back within Studio.

Its good to understand the psychological idea of "Sunk Cost" fallacy. Pretty much saying the first good results are probably going to be the best. And we overestimate the value of trying alternatives after falling in love with one version. We could then often reject an alternative that could , to most other, not make a difference, or if compared, may even sound better.

So rather than sabotage any creativity to keep the status quo, its good to think of grouping a few alternatives of the same song, make lyric corrections to all, or whatever is needed, then give it a break. Put them in a playlist. Two weeks later listen to them all again and pick one as better than the others.

If in the end, we insist on one song and changing one word, and nothing easy is working, then build up the skill of making surgical splices by manually inserting just that one word in. More time. More credits. But if we cant reframe our opinion for the song to sound any other way, then that may be needed.

So if everything sounds 120 BPM in general playback, but then in studio you've got clips that are 68 BPM and 183 BPM spliced together sound nutbar when the project session is trying to run playback as some clips will be very slow and others will be nightcore fast and high. Currently you can halve and multiply speed but you can't manually enter the specific clip's playback BPM or speed and clips aren't really stretched and beat matched to the project's BPM. Alternatively if there could be a function that will stretch to beat match, that would be great.

Every time i hear "update" i try to mess with studio again, i go in fresh, remove expectations from my head as best i can, and each time i find myself despising studio. Maybe starting there to create a song? But to fix,edit,change, etc. Less than useless. The 'idea' is awesome. Like remove fx, what a fantastic idea, esp for messing with midi vsti's in your own daw after. First try, brilliant.. every time after it changed the song, including sometimes lyrics, or filling intros with acapella craziness. Maybe im just old and cant understand how remove fx means keep main melody and redo everything else. I find the studio very lackluster.
You can't even keyframe the loudness, only fade in or out. Not even a cross-fade possible. You cant keyframe the stereo panning either.
Stem separation introduces a ton of pumping in synths and strings.
No way to retime with percentages or other values, just a 2x or 0.5x setting. No filtering or effects other than a simple EQ...

some things are a bit fiddly and just different from how they usually work, studio has a slight learning curve and is constantly evolving. the "time stretch editor" is quite new, i think it came with the latest update.
If i have timing issues i usually cut the songs somewhere and manually shove the things that are out of beat around.

Hi everyone I'm Lynn Pleasant and I think tis the right place to vent and ask this so here we go:

So I started my pro subscription on the Android app (bad idea I now suggest only suno.com for any subscriptions) and me being me opted for the yearly subscription. Because I simply love the Suno app. Here's my problem due to that, I am unable to upgrade a mere six (6) days later to the premier version because I decided I wanted studio, which I didn't understand didn't come with pro. (My mistake for not understanding they're version of studio versus a remix).

Thanks to getting a subscription on the Android app. I now can only do upgrades through the Android app and it's forcing me to wait until the end of my billing cycle in 2027, to upgrade!!! Suno said they could do nothing about this, and that I'd have to wait until billings ends to upgrade in 2027!

So here is my questions after reading so much good and bad on the thread here today.
#1) "Is it worth setting up another account so I don't have to wait the year for suno studio?!"
#2) "Would you say it's feasible for me to be able to remove the current vocals, to overlay my own after I finish recording them all (without much issue as they will be recorded in the current style)?
#3) Can I start with a blank slate (or add more to an existing song) and input the background music and sound effects for my next song in suno studio?"
#4) If there is a better app you know of for my needs please reply or DM me, so I can easily find it.

It's just more efficient these days to "farm out" those questions , at least in the beginning, to an AI LLM such as Grok who has everyone else's current opinions and recommendations at the ready far better than I could answer from my single personal and biased perspective.

But to answer #3: Studio is a sequencer, or a place to drag in any of your outputs from the Suno Library and layer them into different track slots.

You can also record directly while in Suno. I mean, theres a record button, you click it and whatever mic is working on your desktop, it records.

At minimum, it does throw the Create panel onto the left side of Studio to just create there too, so you dont need to back out to the main Studio panel to use the create panel.

I wrote the lyrics in Patois, edited the song in SUNO Studio, exported it as a “Full Song,” and...

SUNO “translated” the entire lyrics into English?!? At least the words it sings had not been touched....

That it simplified the tags with its own “ideas” and threw out everything except the simplest ‘instructions’ like “[Verse 1]” and just tacked on an extra verse from my pre-chorus and a few other funny things—whatever!

But the English “translation” is also wrong, in some cases completely!

SUNO turns “rum a pour slow” into “from a poured soul,”
“lock mek fi thee” becomes “blood make for the beat,” etc...

I really want the lyrics-box to look exactly the same after editing.

How can I generate a performance backing track (minus-one / instrumental bed) with no lead or topline melodic content? I need an arrangement suitable for live vocals that contains only rhythm section and harmonic foundation.

Even after using several prompts, the output still introduces lead voicings, melodic motifs, piano licks, or instrumental hooks.

What is the correct way to design a producer-level prompt or workflow that strictly limits the arrangement to drum grooves, sub or electric bass patterns, sustained synth pads, comping block chords, atmospheric textures, and percussive FX, while completely avoiding melodic phrasing, arpeggiated figures, countermelodies, and solo instruments? Yes, I already tried that workflow. I generated a song first, then opened it in Studio and muted the lead or melodic stems.

However, the resulting mix loses clarity and fullness. It sounds phase-damaged, unbalanced, and low in overall quality, probably because the harmonic glue and shared processing (reverb / compression buses) were originally built around those melodic elements.

So the playback becomes thin and unpleasant for performance use.

Do you have a better method to generate a rhythm-focused minus-one arrangement directly from the start instead of fixing it after stem separation?

Just by my ignorance, how dry would a track with ALL vocals and instrumentation, inclusive on one track be expected ? My assumption from the Remove FX notice was we would need to stem out as much clean tracks of individual single-entity tracks (just a vocal, a guitar, a piano . . .) as possible. And then filter each as needed. If the latter is more the case, it makes sense there might be some anomalies from attempts where there's -- when we start with - a layer of things going on in one track.

That's how I read it, but I could be wrong. #📢┃announcements message It'd be cool if we could do it in one sweep somehow.

From my experience, I have used "Remove FX" a few times on a vocal track where I wanted teh reverb removed, and it work extremely well, giving me a dry vocal that I then did my own post on. It has not failed at that so far for me.

Generations within Studio fail, they constantly timeout. It fails for create/replace and cover. This has been ongoing for a week now and I've burnt through loads of credits hoping it will sort itself out.
I've cleared my browsing history, disabled my VPN, tried three different browsers, tried 3 different computers and the issue persists. I've even connected to my phone hotspot to rule out my network.

A good question, i discovered it by accident but I never use it personally. I always use the whole track layout.

Its a good option to know as @zenith vessel notes. The reason may be that there are equal reasons to be frustrated having to tie all the segments together if we need to work on the whole song at once. So maybe we need to highlight all and save as one track before beginning.

So the workflows are probably just a needed thing to be done depending on where we want to start.

Otherwise, have a toggle that does the script for us. 😊

There's also the fact that the editor will put lines or a single word from the Chorus and associate with the following verse.

So if you wanted to change the chorus and those words, it leaks into the verse.

I've also noticed the editor no longer "categorizes" the sections as Intro, Verse, Chorus...it's taking meta tag data and naming the sections from those.

Sometimes certain things are "business logic" i.e. how it actually needs to flow/work is based on the need of individual.

Also in Studio (or out) when you generate the stems, they never get broken up.

Not breaking up the track in Studio makes for easier editing.

Also the "master track" is generally ignored when you're working with multiple tracks.

This is my one feedback. It's really annoying that it reads 4/4 tracks in half time. Just because there is a snare does not mean it's 73 bpm.
It needs a x2 or /2 option to read it as its actual BPM - which is 146 bpm, Not 73 bpm. There were 146, not 73, kick-bass patterns of 1/4 of a measure per minute, aka beats per minute.

Yet if I set it to 146 bpm -- it becomes 292 in the audio. There's no way to correct the error.
If i wanted to align this with a persona or use it in an inspo - it would try to match the other tracks bpm to this, causing one to be twice as fast as the other simply because one was incorrectly read as half time. See what I'm saying?

There should be a way to x2 or /2 the bpm metadata without touching the actual audio.

half time isn't even a real thing and we should stop using it to describe 'beats per minute' cause that is not a beat that is a half-bar. if they want "73" they can call it 73 HBPM

The track waveform will shorten and play fast.
• click the waveform. Or double click track list on left of track.
• Find "Clip" tab on right track panel
• find the speed adjust. Click 1/2 speed.

Your track is now set to your standards.

This has been a thing recently. But you can extract the stems of that generation to get the single instrument you were wanting to prompt if you're satisfied with the part. If not, try deleting that track with the full instrumental and open a new track and try once more.

So in my experience, if you try to regenerate a single instrument on a track that generated instrumentals with say a version 1 and version 2, then it'll keep generating said instrumentals. But sometimes (not always) deleting that track with the faulty instrumental generations then attempting a single instrument generation can do the trick.

I don't know if this is strictly a studio thing, but for the last few days, when I remaster a clip it's tempo is varying to the point I can't really use them. In my screenshot the top clip is the original, and the other two are the remasters from my latest attempt to remaster the clip.

The second line sounds right, except it's slightly sped up, and the third is super slow. If I 2x the speed, it's even shorter than the second clip.

I used to be able to reliably use a remaster to fix a voice mispronouncing the lyrics, but can't really use these when the timing is off with the rest of the song.

Ideally they'd come in at the same tempo, or I'd have more granular control over the clip speed so I could just slightly slow down the second clip to match the first.

Edit: If I change the clip tempo to "original" it actually does match the original speed of the first clip, but then I'm still having that issue where clips set to use the original tempo have their audio cut off mid clip.

Edit 2: The original clip speed works on my other computer 🤷‍♂️

So here is my feedback after burning 7k credits in studio:

Stem create/cover/replace never works as it was shown in videos. not even once it generated me what I prompted to generate. Worst results are: bass, drums and vocals. Always something is wrong.
Either I get full songs, or some random sounds (vocals in bass track, bass in drums tracks, drums in bass track etc)
Generated stems 99% of the time shorter than actual selected region, so theyll never loop and you cannot stretch it to fit the range. If you select more than needed range then the generation is messed up and creates something that does not make any sense (like drum patterns starting with fills and drum rolls) Messes up structure. Example: I select an 8 bar zone in the beginning of the song and ask for "guitars", output gives me some nonsense, like 2 bars of a melody from intro, then 1 bar from the end of the song and another 1 bar of something from the middle of the song, lets say from bridge. so in the end i get some random 8 bars of nonsense.
Timing issues.

And a question: do the sliders actually work or is just placebo? Because it feels like placebo and suno generates whatever it wants no matter how hard you "influence" it with sliders. Even with 100% style influence you get random stuff that is not related to your prompt.

Exclude styles - does it really work? I negative prompt there what I dont want to get in the generated stem, but I still get exactly what was negatively prompted. There are more chances to not get what you dont want if you just leave it empty, rather than entering something there.

Even did an experiment with one of the videos.
Extracted audio from the "ukulele to 12 string" video. Got that ukulele part, prompted exactly what a guy prompted, output - full songs, guitar with some random drums, guitar with bass, vocals, extra synths. I managed to get a clean 12 string guitar only after 17 generations and even that was meh, but this is a matter of taste.
So, can you show the actual generated variations in the videos, so we know that you actually generate them and not insert a pre-recorded audio and we at least will know, how many generation attempts and credits is needed to get 1 working stem.

1. Importing a track to Suno Studio (stem from suno song, stems that I made in DAW, Random loops from packs)
2. Select a working zone
3. Type in style
4. Hit cover/replace
5. Get useless results
6. Repeat

A quick example of what I mean. 8 bar "loop". Original sound was taken from one of the old suno songs, but it does not matter. Here are the results of "covering" with same prompt "Distorted electric guitar" and with negative prompts "drums, percussion, bass, vocals, strings", but different slider positions

That was done for the sake of experiment, basically to prove myself, that those sliders don`t matter that much as I thought. Even if always at default positions the outcome is always unpredictable.

I am trying to keep the melody and change the instrument. The default settings sounds close, but as you said, it has extra stuff in it, which should be excluded. You type in "high pitch gliding synth" but get low reese bass, you ask for "staccato violin" but get glissandi ensemble, you ask for "fingerpicked bass" but get a full funk track, you ask for "sub bass" but get glitchy synth with vocals baked in, you ask for "soft piano" but get a pad, strings and vocal chops baked in, etc.

I need automations in the EQ. I would also appreciate it if the channels visually responded (for example by blinking or lighting up) when they hit certain levels, similar to what you would see on a real mixer. There are many more things, but I would already be very happy with just those two.

The other thing I don’t understand is that in a “pro setup” the signal flow is usually EQ → compressor → effects (maybe EQ again) and then finally a limiter. Especially when I use an EQ, I mostly cut frequencies rather than boost them. So I would at least expect some kind of limiting option after the EQ. A full built-in channel strip might be too much to ask for, but at the very least I shouldn’t lose power on every channel when I start EQing internally in Studio.

I would also prefer not to route everything in and out of a DAW repeatedly, as each rendering or bounce process can degrade the sound over time. So having more processing options directly inside Studio, within each channel strip, is highly needed and would be greatly appreciated. I believe that would be the best solution.

A user had "tried everything" and still finding the generated tracks to hang in Studio.

They followed these steps, and for them, it worked great afterward. Basically just refreshing everything so all files are updated and in sync with the updated Server. Just saying, its worth the effort if still having problems.

• Clear cache
• turn off VPN
• close any browsers extensions
• empty localStorage
• log out
• close all browsers
• restart router / WIFI
• Turn off / turn on computer
• Open ONE browser
• (option ) set to incognito mode
• Log into Suno
• test a recreate with Studio on a small, less that 2 minute, output to help rule out that its just timing out. This is a busy week with all the new models and updates.

Its worth the overkill if it works.

Whatever limitations of Voices are in Create would remain in Studio if we could attach a Voice-made vocal. So for now, we can use the Create panel on the left of Studio, create whatever we need with Voices and drag it back to Studio.

Most have the intent, it seems, to "swap out the voicing of a vocal stem with a Voice-made vocal". Make a clone, in other words. If it can be done in Create, then thats the present route.

Drag the vocal stem in Create and attempt there. Drag the output back into studio.

The long version is to make a number of small WAV files of your singing solo snippets of songs your wrote, or just "sing the phone book" of anything. Make a variety of songs, at least 30. Then upload them all to create a Custom Model.

So far, the Custom models has emulated vocals which I havent been able to get right previously with Personas.

Personally, the tests ive made are pretty accurate, and the closer to about 98% we slide th audio, the more raw as the original it gets without the pitch corrections and embellishments.

So, sorry that its not performing for you as well as youd like. Is this with audio set about 86% and styles down to 5% , and keep weird at default or low but never down to "0%" ?

Anyone else having slowness and hitching in the UI with Studio today/yesterday? It's been running pretty smooth for me for a while, but in the last day or so the UI is slow and unresponsive. When I play the song the playhead stutters and stops even though the audio (usually) plays smoothly. Clicking or taking actions is also unresponsive. My CPU is sitting around 10-15% and memory around 30%, so my PC isn't maxed out by any means

I would sing somewhat in the register of what ytou feel is the natural voicing you have but also go all out and throw in some ugly cracking falsetto and off-key things as well. YOU dont ever need to sing perfectly, Suno corrects everything. Its more important that it retains ever possible characteristic available. So , snippets in the sense of variations that cover enough of any characteristic your voice can do. Having 3 minutes of 30 songs is great, but I feel 1 minutes of 50 varied pieces may be more beneficial to focus on the voice characterist and less emphasis on what your genre and style may be.

I'll be testing more as well as this is all new. So try at your pace, as its not backed by alot of testing so far.

Again, ive had no issues with Voice working as intended, but better when the song I would Cover is similar to a folk , acoustic style due to the way I set up the Voice-sample. And again, the slider setting can help as mentioned.

You dont get responses on a bug report. Thats never a thing, unless there is an update for everyone. Bugs reports are just for accumulating stats and means of how to repeat the issue to occur. But without reports of bugs, nothing happens.

So, thanks and much appreciated for any bug reported, it will help determine if there IS a bug , which will be then attempts to fix, then also determine what is expected if by a majority of users that may need to augment what is a feature.

To add, there is the suggestion to make the recording as clean and clear possible, for many reasons. But I would add, that I dont think hitting a note in key or on the mark is the idea, but more just the closest representation of the skills of your voice. If your thing is doing runs and vamping, a few of those would be helpful for Suno.

If I dont do runs at all, and I want Suno to do that , i wouldnt train it on any attemps, but then thats when I prompt for jazz or hip hop, and tag for runs or vibrato, etc. And let Suno force that into my voice on a specific song.

Interesting way of doing it. I have the song I want, extract the stems into Studio and then get it recreate each part, one by one. You get a cleaner version without artefacts. It has differences, of course, but not hugely. Just mean you have a nice clean song. But this isn't working for me at present.

I've tried this method too and it's no longer working. I think there are many ways of achieving single instrument tracks / stems. But the fact is since the 5.5 update, it's no longer possible to do this. Every option simply recreates the entire song (with a few minor differences). Previously, it was perfectly possible to create a track up to 4 minutes that was a single instrument based on the icon selected (bass, guitar, keyboard) and taking style details from the prompt.

Been dealing with the Suno email chat who tells me that there is no detail on whether suno studio listens to the tracks that come before. I am reading here that 5.5 is really hard to make a solo instrument track which I have also just about found impossible. How does one provide feedback on these matters. I thought the basic principle behind having studio as opposed to the create would be to be able to manipulate the creation better. I have currently found the parts I am trying to create don't fit the parts that come before but are playing to their own version of the song. Is that what others are experiencing as well? yes it is difficult to get it to play accurately to the timing of the selected region underlying audio. i had to reduce the size of the selected region, and make the context window only cover the area i have selected in order for it to get the context timing correctly (some of the time)

Covering a song now even with audio influence really high results in Suno wandering away from the uploaded melody and chords as it gets past first chorus... this is a major problem for writers who do not WANT the melody changed
every one ive tried in 5.5 resulted in verse 2 onwards being completely wrong melody
version 5 was WAY More accurate at keeping to the uploaded melody if audio influence was set high BUT even reverting to V5 it seems not to be as accurate at following melody as before...but better than 5.5.
its pretty catastrophic for a writer to have his melody/chords/timing completely changed...it seems to get worse the further in it gets..
verse 2 in the last few I tried were unrecognisable from what I wrote.. seems worse in certain genres.... KPOP for example is very bad in what ive tried...country was better as an example ..
I'd just done a youtube video about how great Suno is at covers and how useful it was for professional writers. but that was released before v5.5 came out ....!

I would agree with this. I've been struggling to get 5.5 to cover an acoustic recording I've uploaded. I must have created 20-30 tracks using different slider settings and no style tags. Every time, it goes off the rails in the second half of the song and butchers the chords and melody. Then, if I put any styles in, my song's core melody and chord progression gets utterly mashed into some weird alternative song. The only advantage of 5.5 is how it replicates my voice pretty well. ironically, that's without using the new Voice feature which, when used at the same time as a cover, causes even more variation from the original chords and melody.

STEMS - With regard to "Extracting stems" I've found Suno tends to create little dips in the volume that weren;'t there in the original audio. This basically makes Studio unusable for editing the song stems since there's really no way to get back to the original quality of the song after splitting it out.

Hi, I have been experiencing the same problem with v5.5. I had a song which I generated several pretty passable versions of in v5.and I wanted to regenerate this again in v5.5 using my own uploaded voice. Unfortunately v5.5 simply won't stick to the chords and lyric melody of the uploaded audio and insists on going off and creating a completely different melody after the first verse. I have generated a couple of dozen different versions and they all go off on the same tangent. It is pretty much unusable. I reverted back to v5 and it worked absolutely fine.

I want to paint a picture for you literally. when using anything with AI, think Image to Image you have an image and you would like to sharpen it. You don't want the image to be completely different you only want to sharpen it, so you prompt it to sharpent it however, it going to pass through a "diffusion model" (a second pass) which will add "NOISE", (don't be alarmed NOISE is a good thing in AI) in order to get the best results we know (in the AI Diffusion Model World) that using it very sparingly. Meaning, 10-30 percent, if we go any higher we end up with an entirely different image.
SUNO - COVER, PERSONA/VOICE acts the same way. When you introduce these things, you "should" do it with this in mind.
Here's another thing that is a parallel to Stable Diffusion and Diffusion Models for Music Creation - Style which, I'm sure you know is the strength of the Prompt however, Weirdness that is definitely nothing more than CFG, which stands for Classifier-Free Guidance. The more you increase this you are allowing the diffusion model to deviate from your "prompt/style".

What does all of this mean? Don't jam your AUDIO Slider to 100% expecting great results. use it between 15/30% and you'll get much better results.
I highly recommend creating a MODEL which is nothing more in the Stable Diffusion AI World as a LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) is a technique used in Stable Diffusion to efficiently fine-tune models by applying small adjustments, allowing for customization without the need for large storage space. I think this an amazing feature and I no that SUNO mostly likely jumped all over this as fast as they could because we have been able to train and create our own LORA's in ACE Step 1.5 for a few months now and it works quite well for opensource ai.
I feel your pain, if with what I know and how they're introducing these new features, its far from perfect, and half the time your going to spend editing and splicing different passes of diffent songs together in order to make them work.
Which is something I was doing in Ableton anyways but STUDIO makes a heck of lot easier.

It’s been over 20 days since Model 5.0 stopped working completely for me in STUDIO, and the new model simply isn’t generating vocals properly in Suno Studio. I’ve tried every solution mentioned on this channel (full reinstallation of Windows and macOS, VPN on and off, different DNS servers, different Wi-Fi networks—and of course, clearing my browser cache). All of these steps are completely useless because, as a developer friend of mine said, this is a problem on the website’s end. I wrote to support, sent a DM to the Suno team here with a video (showing the console and all the errors), but absolutely everyone is just ignoring this issue

This is a very interesting description and probably teaches me some very interesting things about AI models. Unfortunately it misses the point. Suno is a product that has features that state they do specific things. In one version of the model the feature does something it says it does and in the next version it doesn't. I don't need to understand WHY that no longer does what it used to. This is the job of the people who make the feature. You show some real knowledge of the underlying tech they are using. But you know who knows even more? Suno.... Why let them off the hook with a "stuff is hard" excuse? If the UI no longer represents the reality of the underlying model - change the UI! Suno isn't some indie developer with a couple of guys in a back room. This is a company with $300 million in annual revenue and a $2.5 billion valuation. I get that AI is hard and that the black box isn't always easy to understand but they sort of have to own it, right?

As a very simple example... the UI literally says "Turn it up to resemble your original audio or voice". It DOESN'T say "don't turn it up too high because this might be bad".

This a partial response to your comment @true zenith and then I'm going to pass along of some work around's that I've discovered. It's only by a lot of trial and error, my understanding of how V5.5 as well as the VOICE feature work along side each other.

I truly understand your frustration. I'm going to go out on limb here and tell you that they are going to address your concerns.* I myself completely gave up on using some of the features within STUDIO because it was quite obvious they weren't working. *
I like yourself use Suno's Cover feature more than anything on the platform, and YES, when using V.5.5 2nd Verse's and the remainder of a Song (Most Times) is unbearable. The Hallucinations are just awful.
As mentioned by others ***keeping the melody true to the melody is key ***
What I did discover that if used in conjunction with the MODEL feature, I was able to combat my issues of my 2nd Verse's keeping their consistency as well as my Chorus's.
I created a Model out of the 6 demo songs from a cassette tape that was made back in 1988-1990. They were all different songs however, all the same singer and songwriter.
Now when I add the Persona/Voice along with the V5.5 it nails it note for note with all the characteristics of the original recordings.
I may be the only person who's gone this route however, it works and works well.

So, I apologize if it appears like I'm just making this a brush off sort of response. That's not what I'm trying to say overall. Its just that I'm a little "biased" because after 5000 Credits within 72 hours, and I mean that... I slept for about 6 hours total last week, I've been able to achieve something I never thought possible.
It will be a glorious day when the fix STUDIO, hopefully sooner than later.

There are some learned things that can be applied across the board, but often things change as updates and upgrades are made, so whats good for one model needs a different angle with another.

If we have Studio, then some solutions may be somewhat obsolete to use Pro when Studio is an easier route. And equally, if we jump into Studio first, there may be a poasible but efficient way to do something in Pro Edit UI or just withing the Create panel that can be helpful over using Studio.

So, yes, Studio-chat or suno-school are there to just ask specific questions for either specific or general answers from your community peers and some seasoned users.

So, do others have an issue with the program changing as it gets deeper into the song? I started to switch to the v5 rather than 5.5 and all of a sudden I was able to get solo cello i was able to get a solo nylon string. I get just past the halfway mark of the song and now it has stopped listening to the prompts and started to play whole whole song sections again.

I just feel like all i do is use credits to get parts that are wholly unacceptable. I have swapped sliders around, used different wording. Tried the same prompts as before but now nothing works as it did. It's hard to even get the instrument to sound the same as the part before. There is no consistency.

Makes it hard to create a seamless sounding song when it sounds like 4 different nylon string guitars have been used and 4 different players have played each of the parts

Does it help if you use the same channel as a previous part that you are happy with? That would tend to make sense. Use the same prompt on the same channel and at least get the same instrument. Kinda like how a vocal would work. You wouldn't want 4 different vocalists (usually) singing the main sections of a song. I have tried to do this but it doesn't seem to work.

Nope, it does the same for me. Pretty much any instrument, not just vocals gives me a song. I also then find the part is more played to the song it created then the music you want it to play to. Someone had suggested dropping it back to v5 through the options. That worked for a bit but it too now, at least in the part of the song I am working on will only creat whole song parts or at least putting a couple of instruments in it. On those, it won't even split the parts out.

Then we could work with either.

It would be really, really good if you could stick with the same vocal and style. You hear something and you want to then repeat a line to fit the musical phrase but all of a sudden you go from a 70s smooth pop singer into a boy band. Completely different styles with the same prompt.
Would be great if this was the same with all the instruments. Be able to keep some semblance of continuity between a song, bring back the motif that is already existing and rework it with the same sounding instrument.
Then again i just saw an interview with the CEO who stated people don't want to create music anymore, they just want to push a button. Possibly explains why this isn't the creative tool it could be. So, maybe it's time to find another tool that lets me be creative and helps create parts that are different to how I would normally write a tune 🤷‍♂️

If you find a vocal you like, use persona's. I use the same voice for certain songs, other's for other songs. Try persona's but remember to remove the style out because it will change your style for every song. You just want the voice

I’ve been using Studio on Safari on an IPad. It’s kinda quirky but I can usually get it to work decently enough. One issue I’m having is annoying. If I adjust the volume on a track, it’s like the volume knob gets stuck and cause the volume to adjust depending on where you touch the screen. So if i touch something on the right, the slider moves all the way to the right and vice versa. I have to refresh the page in order to make it stop. It also won’t export our allow me to touch any of the other features when it’s stuck on the volume slider.

Same issue here. Wanted to add some data for whoever looks into this:

Studio section generation (Create section, Replace, Cover) always times out for me. Full song creation works without any issues.

What I observed in the browser: the generation request goes out, the clip immediately shows as "queued", and then just stays there forever. Never moves to any next state. After about 99 minutes the page shows "Error generating clip / Clip generation timed out."

During that wait I also saw several connection failures — the browser throwing "Failed to fetch" errors repeatedly while trying to check the clip status.

My guess is the backend is accepting the section generation job but something is preventing it from actually being processed. Full song jobs seem to go through a different path and work fine.

Mac M1 Pro, Chrome. Have tried multiple times across different days. Always the same result.

Also, [e-mail] appears to be an AI auto-responder — the reply completely ignored all the technical data I provided and was clearly not reviewed by a human. Reporting through that channel is pointless for actual bug resolution.

Hi guys. I like the new improvement with the voice upload and how it sounds in the song until the chorus. After the chorus the voice it turns higher pitch tone and the good human same to me voice is not working anymore. It appears to be other person singing. How to fix that? I still keep getting these copyright errors when i try to cover my own songs I've written myself, and made songs of in previous builds of Suno. The lyrics are my own, not even AI generated. And copyright detection tools also list them as less than 5% copyright risks too. (No I have not copyrighted my own lyrics either). The only work-around seem to be removing/replacing one or two words here and there until it goes trough. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Really frustrating!

Just keep in mind a simple mantra: If Suno has, it doesnt need more of it.

In other words, "copyright" is just a general term, it seems, for a number of compared words and phrases which are found in the public that are not necessarily copyrighted, likely moreso.

So first, throw the lyrics in chatgpt to ask of any sequential lettering of, within or between words could trigger anything found in the public among available songs or prose, artists names or anything considered vulgar or discriminative. Just try to get gpt to look deeper.

As you mentioned as the workaround -- Then also, make small adjustments in a line space, a word space here and there, enough that wont change the metering much, but will help Suno to re-tokenize and not "see" whatever it saw before as a "copyright" issue.

Personally, I prefer the bit of gatekeeping over too much overflow of un-needed material that is truly "too" available. As long as I know what it is being scrutinized. Thats the frustrating part, not being told WHAT its censoring.

An inidcator to show WHAT is censored would be very helpful indeed. I hit the wall too often and too much trying to cover my own songs or edit my own songs in studio. And the hot fixes i talked about only work sometimes.

Sadly, as with most sites, the censor targets cant be revealed as then there are those that will start testing to accumulate a list of what words that WILL go through.

But again, it may be nothing but just adding a space and the cencor becomes a false-positive. Who knows.

I really hope its as simple as false positives and spaces etc. Cause right now it seems like most my old songs, that i have written myself and published to streaming platforms after generating with Suno, are just impossible to make cover of with Suno unless i make drastic changes to the lyrics.

Its almost like Suno thinks my lyrics are copyright protected since they are "published", when in reality, they are not.

But right now it seems random and odd as to which songs/lyrics and how much/little thay needs to be changed for them to trough.

" Publicly available" is the mantra. So yes, perhaps your published songs are already in Suno. Theres no way to associate your posting your lyrics from someone else posting your lyrics.

Ive never posted old songs on youtube, but other places yes. They've all gone through Suno with no issue.

To use Suno for that purpose, It can be having to go around your ankles to scratch your ear, yes. Rewriting lines to match the old metering, using phonetic spellings and whatever works just to get an instrumentation. Then see if a Cover then works with original lyrics, or sing or work out the vocals/lyrics elsewhere.

You can ask chatgpt or other to rewrite your lyrics in the exact syllable count and metering, even it it includes gibberish, the priority being to match it exactly. Take that and have Suno write to those lyrics instead.

Or piecemeal different versions of just one stanza per generation and splice it all together in Studio (trying to keep this Studio oriented.... 😄 ).

Is it a general problem or something specific to me that Studio is fundamentally broken when generating parts longer than about a bar .? (vocal, guitar , perc etc etc )

For copyrighted lyrics that you own, from what I've heard you can try either:

"You have to unpublish the copyrighted song from whatever streaming platforms they are on and then you can do what you need to do. Suno does not know who owns what so even your songs once published could work against you. If you have any issues after that you'll have to contact the suno team most likely."

Hey everyone, wanted to share my experience using Suno Studio since v5.5 dropped. Since I use the service mostly for Studio, I ran into a bunch of bugs and issues right after the new version came out

When v5.5 launched, Studio just broke and stopped doing individual instrument generations, only outputting full compositions. They fixed it after like 2-3 days by rolling back to v5.0 (you could pick it in the advanced generation settings). v5.0 was way more predictable, but then around April 3rd Suno just killed the ability to use it entirely. Switching browsers, clearing cookies, nothing helped. I emailed support and got what was clearly an AI agent response saying older models including 5.0 are being fully deprecated over the coming weeks. Basically they just quietly cut off 5.0 on my account

And that would be fine, except v5.5 is a pretty big downgrade for me as a producer. It almost always throws in random artifacts from other instruments or background layers (negative prompts do nothing, burned a ton of credits finding that out lol). Used to generate a back vocal on 5.0 and get a predictable result that fit my arrangement without any extra garbage. Now on 5.5 I have to go through like 10 rounds of hell, and even then I need stems extract to clean it up, which burns more credits AND the quality doesn't come anywhere close to a clean 5.0 generation. Same deal with other instruments too. It'd be one thing if they polished 5.5 first and gave everyone a heads up, but instead you only find out through a bot email with super vague wording and not right away

Heads up for anyone whose generations aren't going through: you probably still have v5.0 selected in advanced settings, switch it to 5.5 and it should work again

Unfortunately yeah, you're not alone on this one. The only workaround right now on v5.5 is generating bar by bar and just spamming generations, same goes for guitar or any other instrument. Like for example I recorded a basic rhythm part on electric guitar and wanted Suno to recreate that same rhythm on acoustic, but anything over 1 bar (and honestly even at 1 bar) almost always ends up with a random guitar solo or other instrument artifacts bleeding in. v5.0 gave way more predictable results with way fewer generations needed, now on v5.5 like 90% of outputs are just garbage. And stems extract doesn't really help most of the time either since it treats the guitar as one whole instrument and can't isolate it properly

No, for what I’m doing, it doesn’t matter which version I try in the Studio Mask. No more tracks are being generated beneath my audio. This used to happen before version 5.5 as well. But now I can’t do anything with it. I mainly use it for vocals. I’m less interested in creating complete songs. All the best

Most people probably don't even know this Discord chats exists, I only found it recently myself, so glad I can share this with someone. Happy to know I'm not alone and that the issues are clearly not on our end. From what I can tell support here isn't exactly fast either, and email support is just bots. For me honestly Suno Studio has turned into a tool with a bunch of workarounds at this point. It used to handle backing tracks really well, back vocals, acoustic guitars, that kind of stuff is mainly what I used it for, and now even that is broken 😅 Sucks that we're paying for this and getting no response. No hate at all, I'd actually love to help the devs figure this out, just no way to reach them

No matter what tracks I want to generate, and no matter which version of Studio I’m using. I did, of course, try generating an instrument. But it doesn’t matter – the spinning wheel just keeps going round and I get the same error message as so many others. There’s no help from Suno Support. Even the so-called support team that’s supposed to get in touch doesn’t. The replies I get via email sometimes come back within a minute. They’re AI-generated too. They just summarise my issue again, saying they’ve understood the problem, but nothing actually happens. Except for the marketing – that’s going really well.

Yeah that's really rough if you don't even have access to v5.5. Most likely a server-side bug on their end. Clearing cookies, switching browsers, or maybe even a VPN doesn't help either I'm guessing?

Really sorry to hear that man. Pretty sure a lot of people will end up ditching the Studio part of the service if this doesn't get fixed, since there's no point in it being broken. I get that Studio users probably aren't their main target audience and that fixing Studio bugs will come last after they sort out the new v5.5 custom voice feature, but it's still frustrating when you're paying real money for it. That may be too specific if we ask to look for "copyrighted" material. Suno uses "copyright" as a generic term to often mean those melody or lyrics which are available publicly, and therefore not an original creation or exclusively owned amd controled (not just licensed permision) by us.

If "donut" was a censored word which Sunonhad on their list and oir song had the words "tornado nut" in the lyrics, this might get flagged as "copyrighted".

Add a space, enter a line, put one word from one line to another, use a hyphen, re-spell something phonetically, change tempo, rewrite a few lines, whatever works.

If persistently getting an error, we can burn some credits to just run half the lyrics and continue testing 50% each time, until we find the trigger.

Suno dev just confirmed to me: They flag lyrics from songs that are published on streaming platform commercially. So you basically can't re-use the lyrics of your own songs that you publish (For edits, covers etc). They said they would bring it up with the team, but I'm guessing it's going to be a good while before a good solution is on the table for that specific issue.

Is anyone else losing projects? I go back to a project in Studio and all the parts to create it are gone and it is just back to the original Audio Wav I placed in there. It's two tracks now, gone. I tied using versions but all i get is the option that I opened this morning. No history whatsoever. Do developers even look at these comments?

I gotta say, I find the studio interface really consusing and hard to navigate to work anything out. You can't just select your project. Can't close one and easily select the other. There are hundreds of takes now because you try and get it to work and have to do 10 takes minimum to even get something that is just half the idea. So you're left with a bunch of pieces that you can't use. You don't know which ones are in the track as you think the system remembers it but I have 5 tracks in my library of the same song that all say they're in Studio but none of them now have the pieces I built up.

Its tedious, but making sure we edit each new output into unique titles , as we go along, is just very helpful in the long run. And ALWAYS rename the project before each save. Otherwise, yea, I cant tell which is which.

Suno, we need improvements when it comes to stems — there are too many artifacts and phase issues. I hope these improvements arrive soon, as they would be a real game changer. Focus in the start to having as very clean instrumentation as possible. Obviously that could mean uploading clean noiseless audio. But also, prompting for studio recorded, separated sounds , open spacing, with little distortion, and use other prompts to get as clean sound possible from generated output.

So when we click stem and get that guitar stem , we hope that it doesnt have some overlapping frequencies that give it a distinctive phase or frequency bleed.

Presently, though, the benefits often of just re-stemming that guitar stem, however, is that Suno will punch up the harmonic bleed or noise , read it as a violin for instance, throw it into a violin stem and give us a cleaner Guitar stem as a result. If that happens its a "significant improvement" . But its always an "IF" with generative AI. So , pre-planning and starting with as much separation and clarity in fidelity possible is beneficial.

In a DAW world, we can get by with patching the guitar forthright with distortion during the recording. In comparison, if we deconstruct an AI generated audio, we have to expect to re-construct with the idea of adding stuff back in later. Of course thats mostly whats done these days in a DAW based studio as well. Record dry. Process or re-amp the dry guitar digitally, later.

So, with AI, you have to decide if the 1) AI generated full processed sound is good on its own, or you should 2) start with prompting as dry a style possible or 3) rely on AI to be able to deconstruct back to emulate a dry sound and re-process from there forwards again and reconstructing as you like it.

Recap: 1) Prompt for as clean and separated musical elements as possible within the genre. Or upload audio thats clean.

2. Try re-stemming the stems. Perhaps remastering the stem before re-stemming as well -- but ive found there can be slight tempo shifts, easily time warped to re-sync though -- then re-stem the remastered stem.

As for versions, I've noticed that v5.5 has even more issues with understanding audio context and prompts compared to v5.0. And negative prompts feel like they've basically stopped working properly altogether

Can't speak to earlier versions though, I only started using Suno Studio when it was running on v5.0. But if this issue has been going on since v4.5, I honestly don't know if they'll ever fix it

Dude, when Studio first launched back before they put any updates to it, it had issues with being able to generate individual stems like just drum tracks or just guitar tracks. There was still that issue but you could work around it. Like especially for stemming out a song, you could stem out a song and import all of those in the studio. You could just click your guitar stem. Go to your prompt box. Type in what kind of style you want to replace that stem with? Turn your audio slider down just a little bit because that was the main issue with people getting multiple instruments in stem regeneration was they would have that audio slider high. And then click recreate and it would almost always generate a single instrument stem to replace the one that you just clicked. Now that stem would cut off at 4 minutes Even if your original stem was longer, so you might have to go in and do two generations on it and then make sure they're blended per se. But the fact of the matter is it worked and it's like with every little update since then it's gotten progressively harder to get it to do anything correctly

I don't know if it's a context window problem and that's why it might have worked better whenever it just cut off the generation at 4 minutes or what the issue is. But there's a major problem somewhere. And now, even if you don't want to recreate an individual stem, let's say you have a song stemmed out and you want to create a whole new stem that matches the original track somewhat. Even if you do manage to get it to create a stem, that's one instrument that lasts for the entire generation. There's a good chance it's just going to generate something off the wall that don't even match the rest of your song

Yeah exactly, the big problem is that recreating what you're trying to put into Suno Studio just flat out doesn't work anymore. Suno used to recognize audio context way more easily. They supposedly still have the Audio Influence setting but it doesn't help, it actually breaks the result you're trying to get more often than not. Even on the previous version that setting at least somewhat helped recreate an approximate part of what you wanted from the audio, but now no matter what you set it to from 0 to 100% there are only two outcomes: either the model throws in its own extra melodic ideas (solo guitar, random instruments, or just artifacts like noise, room sound, reverb), or it generates something completely foreign that doesn't fit your audio at all. And this happens both with Cover where it's supposedly better at understanding context, and with Create where you're just trying to build something new

You're not alone, I've also noticed that the "Create" function works poorly on certain material. For example if you try to generate a guitar part over a 12 bar progression, most of the time either the end or the beginning comes out silent. And if you try generating guitar separately in 4 bar chunks, in some spots the model understands the context fine but in others it just skips the generation entirely and gives empty outputs, even when you specify the chord progression and tweak the prompt settings. I've been doing this whole 4 bar dance a lot lately because generating rhythm guitar without a solo at least occasionally gives a clean guitar without one, maybe once every 20 generations or so, but again not consistently in all the spots I mentioned

Yup, that is exactly what happened to me. Once you release something commercially, you get the dreaded "Copyright" error even if you were the one who authored it. So for now, forget remastering or covering and older version of your released song until they fix this. Come on, Suno, you should be able to tell based on file history a user created something and is trying to remaster it---assuming there is a unique GUID attached to generated files that your devs could leverage that would allow the original creator account to manipulate their own material without flagging it. I mean, when you go to the remaster function it even shows your previous versions of the same song that you've remastered already so at a loss why can't this be easily fixed. 😡

So I been doing a little messing around inside Studio tonight, and I see what you're saying with 5.5. It seems between 5 and 5.5, that 5.5 is definitely way more prone to letting other stuff bleed into a single track.. Which is a shame because 5.5's stems when it does work sound so much better than 5.0's but like I was saying before. trying to generate a guitar stem to go along with a song. Even if it does start out with just the guitar the damn drums start coming through and by the time you're into the first chorus its both for the rest of the song, WIth 5.0 I have gotten it to actually generate JUST a guitar stem for the whole song, but the actual guitar quality is all over the place, some parts sound okay, other parts its like someone stroking out.

I will say, I do like how fast Studio generates stuff now. Someone over there musta turned on wombo speed because this thing absolutely hauls ass generating compared to how it was.

Yeah v5.5 is just way worse at understanding context and following prompt instructions, which is what causes all the extra garbage in generations. With 4 bars you can at least sometimes get decent results, but with more bars that's exactly what you're describing happens. And yeah v5.5 does generate better quality on a lot of instruments, but you can only really hear that in a full mix. For example after separating lead vocals from backs through stem extract, the isolated back vocal became straight up garbage compared to v5.0. I noticed that with extreme settings (Weirdness 0%, Style Influence 100%, Audio Influence 0%) the back vocal generation got slightly better, but lead vocal still bleeds into the back vocal like 80% of the time. And this is even when I always specify in square brackets in the Lyrics field that I only want back vocals, use negative prompts and do everything I can to tell the model to generate separate stems. So you just get tired of all the workarounds when it used to be so much simpler

And to top it all off I can't even use v5.0 anymore since Suno just cut it off on my account 🤣

As for speed, I think it depends on server load. But yeah I've also noticed generations got faster

You're in the right place 🤝. This is basically where everyone shares bugs and issues with Suno Studio. I've been running into the same thing where out of two "Extract stems" generations one goes through and gives a result and the other just loads forever and then throws the error shown in the screenshot

My Version 1 and Version 2, never came through. I restored the project to the start (before I played around with anything relating to it) then tried to extract again, my version 3 and 4 have come through pretty quick.

Unfortunately after a while it'll most likely throw an error on versions 1 and 2 and refund the credits, but sometimes that loading just goes on forever. Sometimes clicking "Insert All" helps if it's available in the right side menu, that way the error shows up right away and you get your credits back faster

However at least it doesn't cause the entire track to degrade into a garbled mess like it did with 4.5

Yeah there's definitely a lot of noise in the generations, especially towards the end. But at least you can work with it through something like UVR if the actual generation was decent, but since it's not we're just waiting for them to fix at least the main bugs 😅

I will say that theoretically. The ONE good thing that should come from the new WMG models is we should see a drastic improvement in Studio actually listening to single instrument requests and the quality of the stems it makes. Since i would imagine the model would be trained on the actual unmixed/mixed masters since they'll have access to them, so in theory from my understanding that should allow it to create stems way easier and more quality.
But that's about the only good thing I can think of that might come from losing the OG models..

I’m trying to use Suno’s Cover feature to convert a hummed melody into a single instrument, like strings, while preserving exact timing and phrasing. I’m using high Audio Influence, moderate Style Influence, very low Weirdness, and explicitly excluding drums, bass, synths, vocals, and FX.

Despite that, Suno consistently ignores these constraints. It still adds full instrumentation, reinterprets the idea, and often generates an entire track instead of a faithful cover. It feels like the parameters aren’t actually being respected, and the result is unusable for what should be a straightforward task.

As a musician, I want control over individual parts, not full productions every time. Even using extract stems as a workaround for cover variants is unreliable and often degraded in quality. For something called Studio, I’d expect precise, part-level control, but right now it just burns credits without delivering usable results. Am I missing something, or is this simply how it works?

Nope you're not missing anything. Studio just got broken with the new v5.5 update. Even before it wasn't perfect at generating exact copies of what you asked for, like an isolated flute melody or rhythm guitar etc, but at least you could get there with enough generations. Now neither the audio context is recognized properly, nor the main prompts, nor the negative ones. Support emailed me saying to use stems extract, but yeah in reality that's just a workaround and it used to be better 😅

For now the improvements are only noticeable in the full mix. But as a producer, there's even less control over generating individual stems than before. Maybe it works for people who do everything inside Suno Studio, but I feel like Studio is mostly used by people who assemble everything in their own DAW afterwards

Its usually, we want Styles slider higher.
• we dont want the styled frequencies of our hummed voice. We want to change that to the frequency of an instrument.

Usually Audio is lower
• Around 14%-20% helps to ignore the vocal, but maintain the vibe of whats attempted. However, tempo may change and melody fluctuates.
• Around 26%-50% We get a better grasp of the melody. Characteristic of the voice my slip into the output such as portamento, swing, or even just the lower frequencies might result in a bluesier feel.
• Around 60%- 85% , the tempo starts syncing better , but the vocals sneak in as more beatbox, a cappella style, or blended vocoder style as a string or guitar instrument.

For the most part, everyone must find the sweet spot with each separate prompting, and each output.

Precision can be daunting when its an AI generative piece as the AI pre-determining all aspects of whats to fit in a predetermined space.

If you take .08 seconds to say da-da and the viola sound Suno used is predicted to take 1 second and that is spread throughout the new output, things may be close but arent going to be perfect and precise, at any time.

Main feedback for Studio is that stems are not very good quality. In my experience, once a song is split to stems it is basically no longer a usable set of tracks.

• There are random volume dips all the way through the split song. These are often across more than one track and happen every 10 seconds or so
• Vocals don't sound as full

You can arrange it all up again but it will never sound anywhere as good as the non-split version. I have managed to fix some of these issues by remixing the Output version but only when remixing it into a different style/genre. Unfortunately, if you use settings that keep the style, etc of the song it replicates the volume dips. This is a deal-breaker for me for Studio and makes it more of a novelty that a useful feature.

Every time I try to add a layer (like soft piano or percussion) to my uploaded WAV file, I get a "Clip generation timed out" error (see attached screenshots).

I even opened a new Premier account, paid new 30$, and it is still not working.
I tried to writhe SUNO HELP but with no answer.

Hey, most likely you have the same issue as me where Suno is cutting off accounts from generating on v5.0 - at least that's what their support told me via email
There are quite a few issues with the v5.5 release right now, you can read through this thread, none of the stuff me and the guys above were talking about has really been fixed yet. And when they'll fix it - who knows 🤷

I'm constantly checking to see if anyone else has experienced the bug in Studio's music creation tool and if it's been fixed. I feel completely helpless because I can't do anything about it. So just a apology if my message below is hard to understand, am tired, so may be spelling errors, and maybe some inconsistency issues.

You should make a toggle for seeing these credit earners for studio, atm I feel like studio is a waste of time, anything interesting I would want to do for actually creating with it, is extremely annoying, which makes me have no interested in using it for actually creating a song step by step, although it has defenitly improved alot since I last tryed to use it for that, It lacks a few things but the major one:

• Inability to generate single solo (yet still coherent) tracks for various instruments especially vocals which if you had at least that, may be of interest, atm it just spits out stuff with too much excess.

So if for instance on vocals I want to make multi tracked multi lyric'd songs in the case I had tryed earlier where I wanted to do heavy background backups with a primary lead singer both having different lyrics the backup lyrics would be present more then not in the leads track.

Either way having a toggle for showing these reward bits would be nice, I understand its a nice way to make people try to use your studio addition, but atm I see short term use, for audio editing primarily, and some minor additions of extra back up, even for generating another track into a already setup song, there is still too much excess, which usually makes it look more like a credit sink, which im sure your fine with, but personally I dont see much use for it in a serious way, if thats what you are expecting it too be.

I just upgraded to be able to use Studio and I can't get it to pick up any of my Mic Inputs. I've tried in both Opera and Chrome, allow mic, tried assigning different mic inputs, updated and changed all sorts of settings and I'm still getting nothing. I've tested the input with onlinemictest.com and this picks up my mic just fine. Only Suno Studio seems to be having an issue with seeing the input

That's where the issue starts. When I click on No Input the browser allows the mic access but Suno Fails to connect. The browser sees the inputs, all of them, but Suno is failing and not

Suno Studio mic input not working — bug report

Browser: Chrome (also tested Opera)
Interface: Komplete Audio 6 MK2 + VoiceMeeter Potato + VB-Audio cables
OS: Windows

What works:

Chrome can see all audio devices fine (KA6, all VoiceMeeter/VB-Cable outputs show in device list)
navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia({ audio: true }) succeeds and returns a valid MediaStream
Mic works on other sites (onlinemictest.com etc.)

What doesn't work:

Selecting any input in Studio throws NotReadableError: Could not start audio source in the console
The input picker shows no devices / nothing connects

What this means:
The issue is not permissions, drivers, or Windows audio settings — standard browser audio access works fine. The error happens inside Suno's DSP engine (the WASM audio pipeline), which appears to be requesting audio with constraints that fail on pro audio setups, even when a basic getUserMedia call to the same device succeeds.
Console errors on page load:

All other browsers closed to rule out something else using the mics? Not using VPN or ad blockers? Closed any extension that might interfere or at least try opening the browser in cognito? You didnt mention those steps so im throwing them in as a first step checklist.

Tried multiple browsers, restarted, turned off all other audio devices and plugins and updated drivers, etc. The browser does not seem to be the issue because the browser sees all the audio devices and other sites can use and connect to the audio devices with no issue. It's just Suno that's having an issue with connecting

It seems to be an issue for those of us who do use Chrome ...im actually on Mac OSX and have the identical problem...for me switching to safari browser works perfectly ..all mic and interface inputs immediately show up

Hey, yeah unfortunately Suno Studio is pretty buggy right now after they rolled out version 5.5 as the base
There was a pretty big thread about all the issues people are running into
They’ve fixed some of it but a lot is still broken and no one really knows when it’ll be sorted out

I think one would assume each company has eyes on what the other is doing as most have been doing well with keeping up with the Joneses. So, presently no "import and edit" video, yet. No.

Thats why some of the better AI video generators, storyboarding, and edit software, that have some generative song capacity like ace and others, still prefer to import songs from Suno instead.

And in turn, we might use 11Labs for some nice voiceovers audio and import into Suno.

So whatever one hasn't got or excel at, at the moment, we simply juggle between them.

How is any to even work with the studio? Just looking at it i was like, "NOPE!" - I am out!
With the current age of AI, I am actually a little surprised how manual things are. If I etc look at HyGen AI workflow, you just tell the AI what you want and it works out an workflow for you to review, dont like it, its easy to change! And when the workflow looks good, you just tell it to get to work and wait for the results.
I get it that some may like to fiddle with this... scary.. UI and what not, But i would never touch it. There should be room for both, like advanced users and those who prefers some help.

Loving v5.5 overall, but there’s a very consistent glitch hitting almost every generation right at the ~49-50 second mark: a sudden growl, tone deviation, or harsh artifact in the vocals or instrumentals.
It shows up clearly in waveforms (sharp spike/anomaly in iZotope RX or similar). Happens in 80-90%+ of tracks regardless of style or prompt.
Any chance this can get a quick patch?

I created a song, and it was pretty good, but I wanted to swap the "Synth" track for a "Piano" track. It is a 6-minute song.

So I extracted the stems and went into Studio. All of the stems show up. I select the "Synth" track and tell it to recreate it.

It creates a piano track that is 3:59. That is absolutely useless.

When I tell it to "Cover" that selection, it's even shorter!!!

I try to extend it. I was able to get a few extra seconds. What good is that?? It's a complete waste of credits and time!!

Maybe I've missed something, but I've looked everywhere.

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a consistent audio glitch in every song I generate. At exactly 49 seconds there is a distortion/artifact in the audio, without exception. I've tested this across multiple browsers, so it's definitely not a local issue on my end. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a known bug?

Not that this is a solution but first , if you "select" a whole track by clicking on the tracks header , you should only be able to Cover it,

How, in what way, were you selecting the whole track?

Granted, one can "highlight select" the almost-complete whole track and we get the option to Replace as well as option to Cover. I dont think that "to Replace the whole track" is an intended execution by Suno. So to do things that way seems to react differently than expected.

Is the Synth that you are covering set to "original" or "On beat" in the clip detail panel on the right of the UI when you select it? It's "On Beat" by default following the selected BPM at the bottom of the UI. Try choosing "Original" (if you have not already).

Original is 4:28 and the new ones are right at 3:30. I think I did see something that might explain it. There's a "context window" that is limited to a range of 4 minutes. The help-text on the context window says only sections inside the context window will be used, and Which seems to indicate that it will be difficult, if not impossible, for longer songs to be fully edited like that.

i've seen this behavior before, just not fully understand what and why. learning as well. may have better luck dragging your highlighted selection over to the create module. The Studio gens are using v5 and v5.5. Maybe being able to select another model and using that interface to create the gens (that you can then drag back into timeline) may have better results?

yeah, I've tried that, and I can get a version of the track doing it that way. I take the "synth" track, drag it over, use COver, tell it Piano in the style, but what it creates also has drums and other instruments. I can extract THOSE stems as well, but man, what a credit sink!

If I were to do a track-replace in Studio, i immediately go to the library to watch it form there. Whatever issue is with Studio, it's not always concurrent with Library.

Its just as easy to wait until formed and when done, to drag into Studio.

If they don't show in the library, then yes, there will be nothing in Studio. So the feedback is that they are not created in the Library at all when trigger or prompted in Studio. . (studio is only the trigger).

The next test is, to just use Create with the same output to get the same results..... whether Cover/Replace is just a matter of adjusting the sliders.

I've had times where it's not showing in Studio, but to not appear at all is to say that files are not being generated, not even timing out. But not generated at all. Thats helpful to report that as well.

Sorry they don't generate in the library (not the workspace list in Studio) as that would definitely affect even those who don't have Studio.

How could you use create? Im trying to generate a single part (strings for example or bvs ) while referencing what you already had on the other tracks in studio... I cant work out how that would even be possible in create...
the real killer is that this is even using v 5.0 now ...

Hi, I am a recent subscriber of Suno Premier.
When I attempt to get a generation for a single instrument in a track, selecting a region of reference, using the "Cover" or "Replace" button, the generation is failing most of the time with that message : " Error generating clip. Clip generation timed out, please try again", long minutes after the start of the generation request.
It was working well at the beginning of my subscription and it's more and more rare.
"Classic" song generation, using /create for example, is functioning well.

Just responding. I did a few Replace edits of a segment and kept getting outputs, so I couldn't repeat NOT getting an output from doing an edit in the sequencer.

But as far as the Create panel. We can click the upper left icon in Studio and open Create panel, or click the segment, usually split as a segment , go to Clip panel and click menu to chose your edit of choice to perform in Create instead of in the sequencer.

Nothing else is assumed, that its better or worse. Only to say , if nothing is showing in the sequencer as far as those two smaller tracks forming the wavefile, then throw the segment into Create and see what results we get there. So yes, until something works as expected, whether server or user issue, its a hoop-workaround to try.

I think you may be onto something here ... they are indeed there for me too when the library icon is pressed to expand them and hide stems are unticked ...they end up in whatever workspace that library happened to be in .. I had a lot of files called DRY bizarrely as well as the actual ones I was trying to generate

You're not wrong. I reported a bug that the edits that are showing in Workspace and even noting they show in thr "Library" in Studio are either never showing or very latent in showing in the Main Library, provided we click the filters needed to show them... It should be true that ALL outputs show in the Library (when revealed through filters).

I spent three hours yesterday testing that and noticed the issues.

But yes, they do appear in the workspaces and often refreshing that list will "pop" then into appearing in the Studio sequencer as well -- for those who may have issues getting the tracks to congeal into a waveform.

(Error generating clip). I had to wait a very long time and it showed that error. The temporary workaround is to press F5 after you finish creating the instrument. SUNO has been having one error after another; for about a month now, I've been completely helpless.

Hopefully the SUNO team will fix these bugs.

I'm not bothered when the cost average stays in the positive despite any frustrating setbacks. So I find as many workarounds , keep knocking out my songs, and eventually things work as expected , or simply , some other future tool takes its place. Its just hard to "teach" a 6 step process that can work, when one tool is suppose to already work 🙂 and harder still to say "dont sweat the small stuff" without proof of a solution for each scenario depending on what someone is trying to do.

As nice as Studio is, its been interesting how many new users subscribed almost directly into using Studio without exploring much of using Create, Extentions , Inspire, Mashups, Sampling and the Edit UIs as well. Studio is kind of the all-in-one, but the other "older" tools can be utilized for some great outcomes and are good to get a grasp of what's happening behind the scene of doing something similar in Studio.

Ok so SOME positive progress... it seems that parts ARE generating in studio all of the time now for me ... and they are REALLY fast ..maybe TOO fast as its producing some odd audio artefacts ..this on v5.0
On 5.5 its working now also , but adding extra parts as before... but at least we now HAVE something ..fingers crossed this is the start of studio becoming useful again !
by the way , if you leave a lead vocal in while generating a part it will play chords AND The lead vocal part on the chosen instrument in 5.5 ...so mute the vocal first 🙂

Hey everyone, is it just me or is there a bug with stem generation? When I click “get stems,” I only get one result instead of two, but it still charges the full credits. Sometimes it just throws an error after a while

It's hard to tell by just that video. Sometimes refreshing the browser and going back into the interface will show them finally. Best to check the Library for 24 stems first, to see if they all were produced. If you're only getting 4 stems, then Library would have 8 stems at minimum, the 4 stems repeated twice.

Of course, other than its order, we can't tell which is version 1 and which is 2 in the Library list.

Its been an hour. Anything in the Library? Don't forget to click to "Unhide Stems" in the Filter.

man, v5.5 is such a downgrade compared to v5 in almost every metric.
The audio degradation from that same cancer that plagued the OG releases of v4.0/v4.5 is absolutely wrecking havoc on anything done with v5.5, Granted it at least doesn't straight fall off a cliff at only 0:45-1:00 like 4 and 4.5 did, here it's slightly more gradual, but damn is it badly noticeable when you jump from like the 0:30 to 4:00-4:30 in most v5.5 gens.

I’ve been using Suno a lot and kept struggling with getting consistent prompts + structured lyrics.

So I built a small tool for myself that:

• generates better prompts
• creates structured lyrics (verse/chorus/etc.)
• lets you choose vocals (male/female/duet)

• has a “Style DNA” feature (paste a few lines and it learns the vibe)

Unfortunately it’s been over 24 hours and the stem loading is still stuck. In the library on the left there’s also only one generation

Just to be sure, I checked in my DAW whether the files are actually different. They’re not, it’s the exact same file since the phase cancels out to zero (I showed that just in case). So yeah, it’s still effectively just one generation

I attached a video for clarity, just showing that I opened the library and compared the two files, one from the library and one from the right panel

Its probably had generated and then gotten deleted shortly after. This will cause it to constantly spin as there is nothing to find. If it doesnt repeat, I'd call it a glitch and hope it doesnt happen again.

If a bug, others will also start to report it.

There's nothing else I know to make it "work". If you refreshed Studio and it still is spinning then thats a sign something got deleted.

Hey, have you checked your trash bin then? And see if it made it far enough to show in the trash? Otherwise, if they vanished Server side, not much to be done.

v5.5 is disastorous in Studio. It's nearly non-functional. It will not follow prompts (always adding other instruments/vocals) so creating tracks/stems is impossible whether you are covering or replacing (which sometimes just creates a whole other unrelated song). v5 works better but sounds much worse than v5.5. Suno really needs to get a handle on this. Nothing more frustrating than creating a song (based on audio I uplaoded), getting stems, and being absolutely stuck without being able to move forward.

Unfortunately with any stem generation I just get the infinite loading issue. Same result after refreshing the page, clearing cache and cookies, switching browsers, even trying with VPN on and off

Any issues is best resolved when the devs can take the same steps and recreate the issue. In your case, you just clicked get stems in studio and version one never appeared while still spinning, even as you go away and come back.

• if you are getting the stems spinning version 1, on every as then that's excellent that its a constant and repeatable result. Definitely something @jolly zinc might want to pass along. i didnt read before that this was constant and repetative. PLEASE, note in any of your bug reports to say that several attempts of different files ALL result in one of the versions process spinners to keep showing with that versions stems never showing up.

• Also take a before and after screenshot of your credits (and maybe one 10 minutes later to show whether 25 credits are added back.

There's been the frequent suggestion to check Library for stems loading. Its primary and the visuals in the Get Stem module and Studio usually show up secondary or just keep spinning. Checking Library can show if they had ever formed (as well as give a "refresh" to help push the visuals elsewhere to show up).

• In this case, you showed me Library only having version 2 stems, and version 1 never showed in Library. We will assume for now that nothing ever shows in thr trash bin as well.

Note: Its often that the second (top) of the two outputs (bottom and top) from Create generated outputs, and Version 2 of Studio stems and the Get Stem floating module, can pop up slightly one before the other. Its not surprising that , if a glitch, then either one could glitch.

Unfortunately right now the situation is this. I can select both 5.5 and 5.0 in the settings you sent, but 5.0 just errors out after a while. I can record a video if needed

As for 5.5, it mostly generates instrumentals with extra unwanted stuff, so for most real workflow tasks it’s basically unusable at the moment

I already reached out to support about this, but I just got a chatbot response saying they’re gradually removing access to version 5.0, which honestly feels pretty unfair

Before reproducing the bug, I cleared all cache and cookies, and also ran additional cleanup using a tool beyond Chrome’s built-in options. I’m using Google Chrome, but I can also record a video on Firefox if needed. I restarted my PC, disabled VPN, and logged back into the account

Here are the steps shown in the video

I click stem generation. The generation process runs, but only one out of two attempts actually completes. The issue always happens with the first stem generation option, as shown in the video, it gets stuck in infinite loading

In the library, only one stem generation result appears as well. The second generation works normally and completes quickly without issues

Credits are being deducted. I didn’t fully show that in the video since the first generation is stuck in an infinite loading state, but I can record that separately if needed

Small addition to my report. The error happens every time with any type of generation. I tested vocals, backing vocals, and other instruments as well. Also, when triggering additional generations, the third option never generates, while the fourth one does. If needed, I can also record this part separately as well

**1. **Unfortunately, regenerating doesn’t help. It still behaves the same way, where only one of the two outputs generates properly, and the other doesn’t appear. So basically outputs 1 and 3 are missing as I also mentioned in the report
2. I’m not entirely sure about the suggestion to extend the song, since in practice the clip can’t really be extended directly. The only way I can think of is either changing tempo, pitch, or using time stretching. Maybe I’m missing something here though

I usually generate stems using “Get Stems” just like you, not “Extract”

The files only appeared in the sequencer after I clicked the button in the screenshot (“Insert All”). But as you can see, they’re still loading from that very first attempt

I’d love a way to mix the two songs together. I don’t have the studio version but to be able to clip sections from one version and another to keep elements you like of both would be a great feature. After merging, it could then be re-rendered for two different versions using the merged concept and using more tokens. This could be a great pro feature. Though you could do more I depth things in the studio and use this as a bass.

Oh. Thanks for clarifying. Its a big pill to swallow as it seems counter-intuitive, but a bit more effective to give a choice of a more blending output, or a dry stem.

Rather than just get a quick stem and have to build a full song back from there, when there are no presets.

Yes, it is almost impossible, and it's really frustrating. I'm sure there are technical reasons this is the case, but it does kinda...defeat the purpose of Studio a bit? Since DAW is all about breaking everything down into its base parts, and Suno Studio REALLY struggles with this. This would be a major breakthrough if they can figure it out.

In simple terms, Suno takes our prompts " blues, arpeggios, jazz progressions, soulful" and matches with the most likely genres, let's say Blues, then reverse engineers the most likely instruments and sound of the Blues. Since vocals are just as much an instrument as a guitar and have a major influence in Blues, it may "patronize" the song with vocalizations as well.

If Pro / Premium ( since youre posting in Studio, ill assume Premium) and you have something that sounds good, then one option is to extract out the vocals, rather than spend more credits on finding the right prompts.

Its often then when we can run through a Remaster to make it crispier and help remove bleeds. Tried Remaster on a few?

As an example, I could prompt for Irish jig and get an Irish jig instrumental all day long without any vocals. Sometimes we have to look close at our prompts to see what may be triggering vocals. For instance, epic fantasy metal can easily get a choral requiem style "ahhhhhs" showing up even if we think we didn't prompt for it.

Why suno often messes up the BPM and can`t keep the steady bpm for the whole song? example: you generate a song, extract stems, drop them to you DAW and not once they match with the metronome for the duration of the whole song. But when you drop the same stems into the Suno Studio they line up, but if you download it again with "On Beat" turned on, they will not match in your DAW.

Or for example, you click "Open in studio" on a song you liked, studio detects the bpm, you extract stems or even just download the song, and it never matches with the metronome in your daw with the same bpm. In my case, some parts of the song are 129 bpm (detected by suno), some are 128 bpm, some are 130 and some are even 120

You need to make sure to lock the bpm in studio at whatever average it is most of the time once it's detects it, and then also go and make sure the actual track starts on beat. Many times it may line up fine but not actually be starting on beat. Those are essentially the first things I do no matter what I'm doing inside studio.

I do that before doing anything else at all inside studio.

The thing is, that suno studio stretches the sound to land it on a beat, if you select original it wont land there too. If so, I think I will stick to bringing each track into my DAW and working on it there. Ideally, I'd like fully untouched tracks (not just "dry" as in no reverb). Most tracks have some frequency ducking so they work in the mix. That can be fine but I'd rather do it myself because I may drop the tracks they were ducked to make space for. I don't think there's an option for that (yet?) - or is there? If there is, where can I find it?

Just so I understand, you're saying if I change a guitar stem of 85 BPM .(original) changed to 350 BPM "on beat" (ignoring the terrible pitch change) , similar to if I time-compressed the song from 3 minutes to about 30 seconds, and then download that WAV file, it will download at its original speed of 85 BPM?

Or this effect is only seen when manually time-compressing a track?

Nope. Nevermind, that was a "me" problem, cause I was downloading the stems the "wrong way". I was not exporting multitrack or downloading specific file from right-click menu, this way you get on beat versions. But just from the extract stems window you don`t get steady bpm.
So the problem is that you have to do those steps and have access to studio to get the correct stem. Generate (import) song > open in studio > extract stems > insert them > only then download.

Yes, I can describe the change more precisely.

I used Suno Premier actively from approximately February 12 to March 13, then returned in May after a break. During my February/March usage, Studio generation over existing tracks behaved dramatically better than what I am seeing now.

previously:

1. generated layers matched the original source timing extremely accurately,
2. sections followed the arrangement correctly,
3. and generated instrumental continuations felt tightly locked to the musical context.

now I am seeing several reproducible issues:

1. Tempo drift even against a perfectly rigid source. I am generating over a fixed 170 BPM track, but generated audio only aligns near the beginning and then gradually drifts off the grid.
2. Hidden negative clip offset on every generation; almost every generated clip contains hidden audio before the visible clip boundary. I have to manually drag the clip left to reveal the true beginning. I discovered this by accident.
3. Generated clips often miss phrases or enter at musically incorrect positions, as if Studio is no longer reading the full timeline context reliably.
4. Bass generations no longer respect harmonic or rhythmic context. Instead of locking to groove and chord movement, they sound disconnected and chaotic.

so for me this does not feel like normal generation randomness. It feels like a substantial regression compared to Studio behavior in February/March.
I really want to switch to the February version, which was perfect.

I recently bought Premiere to test Suno Studio, but I’m having an issue selecting inputs.

When I click the “No input” button, it shows “Finding Inputs,” but then the text disappears and nothing happens. No inputs appear, and clicking it again doesn’t do anything. I’m unable to select any input at all.

I’ve already tried three browsers: Opera GX, Chrome, and Brave, but the issue persists on all of them.

I would really appreciate any help or a fix, as this is an important feature I’m looking for.

Are you on Windows? and assuming you've gave the Studio website Mic permissions inside the browsers right?

On chrome, goto the little button in front of the website url, and verify microphone permissions are set, If they are, press site settings on that same little popup menu and delete all the site data for Suno.
Be warned this will log you out, and then refresh the studio page and see if you get that same popup requesting mic permissions again after you try and press the input box on the studio, If it pops up grant it permisson and then go into your windows settings-------> Privacy & Security------> Microphone make sure the options are toggled on for mic requesting from apps, etc, etc, and then scroll down towards the bottom where it says Recent activity, expand that drop down and see if Chrome is listed here or whatever browser you tried to use last. it should be right there at the very top

But the whole mic and input permissioning system inside windows between it and it's apps and those app's apps. Leave to much room for stuff to mess up. I get why from a privacy and user protection standpoint but there has to be an easier and more streamlined way of doing that you'd think.

is sent over to your phone Make sure your phone has signal (not just Wi-Fi).
Turn Airplane mode ON → OFF. to reset the internet connection

Bring up dev tools inside chrome and go-to console and clear everything out first and then click no input inside studio and send a picture of what shows up there after you do that. Might give more info on what's failing.

In SUNO Studio, I can't generate anything on my project tracks using the V5 model. With modle V5.5 is fine
It shows only the region, but the generation never ends .
This thing has been going on for 12 hours now.
I tried generating the tracks with a friend's account, and it worked. So maybe there's a problem with my specific account ?
I've also tried changing computers and browsers, but I still have the same problem.

I need model V5 because generating individual tracks without interferences from other instruments, this is the best model.
If I use V5.5, other sounds always get mixed in, and it never works well.

I used to get that pretty often on 5.5 before I had access to 5.0
Sometimes it would only generate a metronome track, and the title would show up in square brackets with random timing markers

Yes its weird...but Im on MAC OSX... it seems to ONLY affect the studio part of Suno (create is fine) and Im sure its also related to having an external interface... as I said, Safari is perfect..I have seen others here report exactly the same issue with Chrome on Mac and windows .

Good day @jolly zinc , unfortunately a very similar issue has come up with v5 in Studio, but this time it’s happening to a friend of mine. He can’t get into Discord to describe the problem himself, so he asked me to post it for him. Hope it’s okay to ask for help here

As usual, clearing browser cache and cookies, switching browsers, disabling VPN, turning off adblock, and logging out of the account didn’t help. All of that was tried before recording the screen video

Here’s what’s happening:

1. When he starts a v5 generation, it gets stuck loading indefinitely. At the same time, v5.5 loads instantly and works normally

2. After a while, generation on 5.5 eventually fails as well. The credits get refunded. Usually this happens after about 1–2 hours, sometimes longer

I’m attaching a video showing the issue. Just in case, I recorded not only the Console tab, but also Network and Elements

Double check your windows permissions, not your browse, your OS permissions. The only way I can recreate the exact problem you all are having where everything shows up under the browser fine, shows up, allowed, everything, but still don't work under studio is if I go into windows settings, privacy and security, then microphone, and I toggle the allow apps to access microphone off, even with it off here they will still show up fine under the browser but wont work in studio. even if your is toggled on, try turn it off refreshing studio, then toggling it back on, and refresh studio again. I know that might seem mundane, but the only way I can recreate that error almost perfectly is the windows permission toggle

hey @jolly zinc i know you're busy taking care of the account stuff but when you get a second, other than inside the browser and inside windows's microphone permissions is there any other locations that need granted in order for Studio to load inputs? I know a while back there was a couple people that were having this problem and after going back and forth with them we was able to figure out what was causing it but I forgot exactly what it was that ended up fixing it, and since the channels changed around there's no history of it either. But they load under standard create just fine, inside studio nothing shows, and even if you use a command to try and force that input window down in chrome it will return back something like "Uncaught (Inpromise) notreadableerror "Cannot start audio source"

Okay I was just wondering cause I was tryna help some other figure it out earlier this morning and wasn't having much luck the closest I could get to recreating the problem on my end was turning off mic and input permissions inside windows itself, doing that would let them still show up under chrome as approved and allowed like nothing is wrong, but cause studio to not show them, but that also prevented create from working as well, but now that you mention it the people I was replying to both were using audio interfaces and had virtual sound devices.

Ok.. i think my issues were only because I was using safari. Sometimes I get failed gens in stems, I'm usually just told use chrome. Next time they happen I will screen shot or something.

Thoughts for the future…..

1 - Fix the stem cover tool so that it doesn’t add other instruments when trying to cover a single stem instrument!

2 - Suno’s stem separation software should be designed to separate Rhythm Guitar, Guitar Solo’s, and Lead Guitar. Guitar Solo’s and Lead Guitar are often way too loud or need to be processed differently.

I love Suno, I’m enjoying it tremendously, but serious music creators need more control over guitar tracks, especially high gain guitar tracks!

Also, trying to get the AI to follow simple prompts/instructions is futile. It simply will not respond to a prompt in the style box that might say “No guitar solo’s” or “No Lead Guitars” or “Rhythm Guitars Only”…. Doesn’t work as an exclusion either….

I've noticed an unexpected behavior with Studio today. Not sure what triggered it, or this is normal behavior but I will explain my workflow and how I got there.

• I created a song in v5.5
• I exported it first to the Editor, where I tried a few replacements..
• Since I wasn't happy with the replacements, I went from the Editor, directly to the Studio
• In the Studio, I tried to replace it again, where it gave me the result I was pleased with.
• Then I tried to create stems... But it left out the part I had replaced like this:

Cross-posting from Studio Chat. I've had this same issue a couple of times already.
When I upload audio tracks directly into Suno Studio, it plays them at a different tempo. I literally took one track from one iteration of the same song and uploaded it into a very slightly different edit of the same track on Suno (so exact same tempo) and it's still playing it at a much slower tempo, physically slowing down the recording. And I don't know why.

Are we simply not able to adequately upload our own audio onto an existing track smoothly? What is going on here?

@jolly zinc I think I may have stumbled upon another ram leak inside studio, and it's fairly simple to reproduce.
Just load up a track inside studio, double click it to bring up the lower timeline with the quant and time stretch settings and just playing the track with this up will cause the ram usage to continue to climb until it crashes Chrome. and the more you mess around in this area with the track playing the faster it will crash. It's got something to do with having that up AND playing the track, because if you're doing one or the other it won't creep up, but if that lower timeline is active and you're listening to the track it's gonna leak. Experiment with the two tempo setting tools in Studio.

FOLLOW TRACK will follow the original default tempo as it varies up and down.

MANUAL will set a BPM as you wish. If you've highlighted a specific track, that track will be set immediately to the tempo you manually set.

ON BEAT controls each track to follow on the beat you set in the previous Manual BPM.

ORIGINAL will reset the track back to its original tempo.

So if you drag in all tracks, set MANUAL to 120 bpm, then all tracks should be defaulted to ON BEAT and sync into 120 bpm. If not, just click the tracks and check that their Clips info shows ON BEAT.

Usually, I've found that re-extracting out the stems (from the new replaced or covered stems or segments to get to the new instrumentation as a solo piece is needed often. How effective the new stem-from-stem or stem-from-creation is in syncing back into the original project I havent exclusively tested much for.

Yesterday I put a "song result" into stem separation - it created several stems, but synth and the initially requested guitar part were still mixed together. And the stem separation of this one led into a strange result: The first 75% succeeded, but the rear 25% remained unsepararated.

The past couple of days, studio isn’t creating any new instruments for me. It just sits there spinning. Anyone else experiencing this? Any fixes?

For five days now, The "Add Tracks" feature doesn't seem to work. Spins and spins, and eventually times out. I hope this gets fixed🤞

I'm new to Suno, upgraded to the Pro plan after using it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G. I am still unable to access the Studio features. I have not been able to locate it at all on my tablet. Any suggestions? 🤔

Firstly, Studio is only accessible through the Premium plan.

But to check, Does the Studio icon show just above your library?

I’ve tried every possible troubleshooting method, but the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Even the account support team couldn’t fix it, so I’m reaching out here. I really want to use Suno Studio again as soon as possible.

The second link is to reply to Elliotts thread, as he requests, so that they can tweak the issue with you and help resolve , same as the other few last week that they helped.

(The first link as step one was to clean things up to help the tweak work, so nothing gets in the way). If not done in the past day, at least do again before Elliot works with you.

My apologies! I do have the Premium plan which i purchased yesterday. Specifically for studio access. However, I don't see that icon. Should I restart my tablet?

I cant say that I know what is available or limited in all countries or local areas.

What happens if , while you are logged in, you go directly to "www.suno.com/studio" are you blocked or get a 404?

Oh.... and check your subscription status. You may not have had your Premium subscription activated yet until you payment posts. It can take a few days if not living in the USA.

Nevertheless, the icon should still show in the menu sidebar.

That is likely going to be the issue, Studio needs assets the browsers have.
