If the song thumbnail does have Suno logo appearing, this might indicate your account is flagged for some sort of suspicious activity (can be a false positive).

There are several reasons why your account could be flagged. Fake apps, API usage, VPN, and payment issues are typically the common cause. Not that I am accusing you for any of it, there have been false positives in their detection system.

I'll DM you! your screenshot showed you only had 40 credits remaining- i know the songs were made with v4, but we send out v4 credits fairly often (a/b testing, experiments, etc), so i really cant say with certainty that just because you made v4 music that your account was subscribed, but we can get this sorted.

Theoretically, one can achieve something similar using the Suno app as it gives you 10? free v4 gens and the website gives an additional similar amount as a trial.

The best proof (and to track down the payment processed) would be to provide the transaction/receipt IDs. I highly recommend sending the pictures of such transactions to Mike via DM, not here.

Just in case: if you DM Mike and the message does not go through, you need to edit this server setting to allow DMs from this server (both recipients needs to have this option enabled to allow DMing and I know Mike has it allowed)

From what I understand, your purchase was made with one account logged in and the subscription was transferred to another account. That’s not something we do in Suno. Depending on the genre, the AI may make an instrumental intro VERY long or did not have a good starting point.
If you were using [instrumental], ensure you have Short in front (e.g. [short instrumental] so it reduces the time spent on it

Ah, I see, Jazz would definitely be a category I can see easily making instrumental only in a simple prompt.

You have two choices:

1. Regenerate your input again in Simple Mode and hope RNG favors a non-instrumrntal
2. Use Custom Mode. You can get the AI to generate lyrics for you using Write with Suno, but you will be on your own for the style prompts.

I recommend knowing the specific subgenre for the music you want. I use https://rateyourmusic.com genre hierarchy for that but there are many other sites.
Heck, you can even ask an AI for the subgenres of a publicized song (though verify the answer as AI can lie to you with confidence)

When I first logged in it was working perfectly fine except for the gender - I wanted female and most were male. But there was always lyrics. And when I bought the subscription - all 5 new songs are instrumental - that's not probability but a bug

Remember, the way AI thinks is not as what you expect. It thinks of patterns and association.

When you ask someone to think of a jazz music, they would likely think of an instrumental Jazz correct? Like elevator music? That is because, relative to the content of the genre, Jazz has a lot of instrumental only pieces.

So when you tell the AI to make a Jazz song, it will look into the pattern and - because of the probability of an instrumental is relatively high - there is a good chance it will pick that as a response.

To reduce your odds of that happening, specifying the subgenres help due to elimination of a large portion of instrumental.

E.g. Crime Jazz typically has lyrics and specifying it means you do not have to worry much instrumental appearing from other categories like Elevator Jazz (or whatever that specific subgenre was called)

Well, that's not logical. If its on i would expect instrumentals specifically.... well, with the possibility of a bobby mcfarrin style, or a chorus of do-do-doz and hums... after all vocals are instruments too.

If it's off , I would expect anything over the past years which would relate to the prompt I gave. As for pop music, there were several just instrumentals that hit the charts. So, what, 97% chance lyrics, and the occassional instrumental.

But given a strong prompt regarding a storyline or feeling and especially noting anything to impress it needing a vocal as in "....with male vocals and a emotional twist at the end...." and it should have lyrics, correct.

What was in your prompt, by the way that created only an instrumental?

I put the keyword "Glam Metal" or "Power Metal" and get 2 pop songs, a random R&B Song, something that sorta resembles early 2000s punk rock but the guitars sound like rusted Tin, or literal clones of whatever the input is. 500 credits later nothing to show. I am continuing to have huge issues with shimmering or hissing (basically white noise) in 99% of my tracks. I feel like I need to generate, extend multiple times from multiple parts of a track in order to get a decent 6 minute track. Literally 50 to 100 attempts to get something good enough to put into the DAW. It is very frustrating. I'm trying to create in V3 then extend or master V4; cover the song/ start from 00:06 again... exclude styles "shimmering hissing white noise etc.
Still no reliable workaround.

But to agree with you in part to say the odds are against it to just play an instrumental, unless the prompt inferred an instrumental.

That's an anomaly then, if, regardless of any prompts in the suggestion box with Customs turned off. -- now called "Simple" mode -- if any prompts get you only instrumentals. Strange.

The location it downloads from does not contain a file ending with .wav.mp4 so the renaming is happening whilst downloading.

Ohhhh ok. That makes a lot of sense. I'm just used to "warning" that is "logged" for someone, meaning basically a strike. Like 3 strikes then you get a kick or ban. And it was worded in a way that sounded like a punishment, since I'm also used to being able to send a max of 4 links in one message.

Also, the messages above and below are the exact same thing, but to other people. I thought it was a whole thing like:
"If we can't DM you, then you get a strike on your record, and are punished by not being allowed to send the usual amount of links"

I suffer from this too, for me it usually happens because it struggles to understand something and to align it, maybe the names, if there is any ambiguity anywhere in the pronunciation try to spell it phonetically
when you manage to align something around the things where it bugs you can replace again in the manual replacement, it just has to align close to the target, if it doesn't align the actual words it will still work

if it's not enough aligned you'll notice because it'll replace with gibberish instead of what you typed

Correct as far as we know. If you try to make a derivative of the song (e.g. extension, remaster), it is not surprising that the watermark from the source carries over

For proof of ownership when distributing, you would show them a receipt of your subscription activity and the timestamp of the song's creation, as part of the process, along with a PDF of the TOS (always a good idea to have a PDF of it since it is a contract)

TuneCore and I think cdbaby are known to be an anti-AI distributors. They use that provide licenses thing when AI is detected (outside of the companies they have a partnership) as one method of deterrent since theybknow it stops most AI slops.

If you did not use any audio upload and it is a pure gen, simply state that, you did not use any third party sounds and ask them what timestamp their detrction program is catching as a false positive and what it is identifying the tune as.

(And see them reject it because it is an AI song and apparently against their policies. Something that happened more than once and people post about it here)

3. If your payment did go through and you had it on the correct account, contact [e-mail] with all details and evidence (e.g. bank statement, transaction ID, your account handle and email, etc.)

That's something that happen to me. I just sign up and pay for pro account 2 days ago. First it's really fine I can make around 15 songs and there're many credit for make a muscic. But something happen yesterday. All my music is still show but the pro account was gone. and today I just got another 50 credits to make song and no pro plan anymore.

It is very common and typical for us to think we are signing in when. We inadvertently click our log in while we are on the CREATE Account panel.

So we end up creating a second subscription.

And of course when we click the SSO login icon, it automatically logs us into the new Basic subscription.

How many emails do you have connected with Gmail/Google on the sign IN page. When it asked you to pick an Gmail account, did you think you may have picked the wrong one you originally signed up with? -- so it signed up a new account with the newest email you chose.

Again, I've seen different variations of the same "screw up". I've done the same last year, worried for a half a day, and then figured out what is did and now I have 2 accounts. 😊

So, from Sunos perspective. Let's say you did something egregiously bad and they "remove" your account. They will only remove your accessing your account, so from your perspective, you have no account. But they would, in my non-legal opinion, not remove your library of songs nor your personal info, for both ownership and legal reasons.

I can't ask the obvious follow up questions then, but given that scenario, if you've had any warnings in the past, this could have some bearing on your account. No need to answer.

I know under Googles SSO account manager, where ever the heck that it, it should list the account the SSO is attached to, so if anytime we wish to release an account such as Suno, we can do it there. That be a good place to find what accounts are presently using you Google SSO.

If you use a phone number it will send a passcode to set up a new account if you don't have one with your phone. So I forewarn people to stop at that point and don't enter the code.

Nothing worth my saying, but there have been some "significant" glitches this week, including Google sign in issues with receiving codes. I'd say, at least give it a day, to see if something reverts back and you have access again, but youve been waiting 4 days -- as have a few others who simple cant log in. @DAViD, Braclo here has what seems a legit issue . It's as if his Pro account has gone silent. Inadvertently, he has since signed up into a new account in efforts to log into his original one.

But oddly Google allowed the same email to sign him up again, as if the old email was not linked to any Suno account. His original account is private (no public outputs) and his handle @Twinklingrange2294 can't be found in a public search.

Can this be passed along as a unique occurrence and see if it can be looked into before his next renewal. If your call is to wait to speak to support, by all means, he is in queue for a response and should wait.

I have a song that has turned out pretty decent.
I provided custom lyrics.

How do I:
Ask Suno to create the song exactly as it did but in a specific key? (It created the song in B, I'd like it in D)
Adjust the timing of the lyrics so they flow like a real song and not be so weird and choppy? (Like "this section of lyrics will match the 4 measures of the verse")
Have Suno create more realistic sounding drum beats? (The beat it created sounds like a 14 year old who's off his hyperactivity meds and is trying every drum fill he's ever learned 🙂

A simple concept that envelopes all of Suno outpus is that it pulls the major influences or attributes of the prompt, not the prompt itself.

So to get it to change a key, play a bass viola, sing in a female voice or male voice usually isn't something that can be forced on a Generative AI application.

Generative AI outputs "statistically probable outputs" based on the learned data and prompts requested. So you want female vocals, you add femme-pop, musical, 80s new wave, 70s soft rock, divas, and other prompts to persuade it to sing female.

What songs, genres, decades, or musically related terms might infer the likelihood of a key change? Add those prompts to help.

It's really a matter of learning to intuit what will work over time as you try various things.

The best thing you can do is listen to other people's songs and try copying some of their genre style tags or their lyrics [metatags] and getting a feel for what gets you closer to what you're looking for.

If you're able to open the song link in a browser it can give you hints in the text.

See the text in [brackets] in the lyrics? Those are metatags. You can use them for a lot of things!

You can structure the song with them:

You can also put in instruments:

It doesn't necessarily mean that Suno understands everything in those tags. But it's good to experiment and see what you get when you do.

If it consistently doesn't work for you abandon that tag and try another until you find something that works.

If you look at the style prompt: melodic instrumental, blues guitar, sadness, grooveout, steady drumbeat, 80s sound, slowcore, dreampop, synthrock

You'll notice I was throwing things at the wall that song.

Just don't believe anyone who tells you that you can prompt things like you would program a computer in BASIC. Anyone trying to assign them selves permissions in a song lyric is ah...well...I've never been successful with it. Not really.

I recently created and downloaded a couple of songs using Suno.ai under the free subscription and uploaded them to my YouTube channel. However, I am now considering upgrading to a paid subscription to ensure that I have full commercial rights and avoid any copyright issues in the future.

Before proceeding with the upgrade, I would like to clarify a few important points:

If I upgrade to a paid plan now, will I be able to re-download my previously created songs under the new license?

Would these previously generated songs then be eligible for full commercial use without any restrictions?

If the previous songs remain under the free license terms, would I need to recreate them under a paid plan to obtain full rights?

If there are any potential copyright risks for my existing YouTube uploads, what steps should I take to resolve them?

I don't know what happen to Suno lately but the voice quality just dropped dramatically (sometimes you can feel for example a white noise added to the voice, sometimes it's just the voice sounds bad, or sometimes near the end of the song the voice quality just drops), ever since they've declared the end of shimmer, I can't produce a single song without vocal issues (got the feeling we're back to the days of 3.5 or even 3), anyone else encountered this issue? is there a workaround ?

The vocal splitter (i.e. stems in Suno, subscriber feature) tends to be moderately good at what it does. Dedicated services to splitting stems or Vocal Remover are much better.

These include Bandlab.com (online, has free basic stem features), Ultimate Voice Remover (UVR, very good but local only), and RipX DAW Pro (paid) are often recommended here

The thing to try first is just to repeat your style instructions. If "sea shanty" doesn't work, try "sea shanty, sea shanty, sea shanty". You can copy the whole style instructions, though it may be best to copy just the instructions that aren't working. If your style instructions never work after repeating them, not even once, then the instructions may not be words Suno understands. But if your instructions sometimes work, repeating will make them work more often.

I have a problem and hopefully someone can help. In my song, during the chorus the voice is changing to boy's voice without any reasons to.
I tried deleting chorus marking, i tried remaking the part, i tried extending from before the chorus, i tried changing tags to the vocal i need, i tried cutting out that part of the song entirely and generating new chorus and ending, nothing works. It's always shoves me the boy voice that sounds nothing like the voice before.
Is there anything else i can try? I almost ran out of credits already while trying to fix it, and i won't be able to resupply for a long while. So i need something that will work without lots of retries.

When you Extend from before the Chorus, be sure to do a Get Whole Song first, if the song is already more than one Part.

Nope, since the voice from before is female, and new one is clearly male, but different from second voice.

I think using 2 voices has Suno in a duet mode. Jotting some ideas:

1. Could try removing [chorus] tag and merging the words with the verse above, so the lyrics in your chorus actually look like one long verse that includes the verse before the chorus. So also no blank lines.
2. Use a using a throwaway fake chorus in front of it that you edit out later with Remove feature. So Suno switches and then switches back for your real chorus.
3. (Nuclear Option) Instead of Get Whole Song, generate a chorus from a Part (or Crop) where Suno only sees the male voice. This is kind of tricky to explain, and may hurt music quality.
4. Try Covering the song to fix the voices.
5. Replace can technically fix the voice too, but it will take some trial and error, and some experience with Replace.

I would recommend trying #1 and #4 at least once, they are easiet.

When you Extend or Replace, repeat style words, spam a lot like "male, male, male, raspy male, raspy, deep, deep, male, powerful male"

It's hard to know. If this error only happens with this one song, it could be something in the lyrics or style prompt. It could also be the song title is too long.

You can spam them in both. They are much strong in style prompt, so if you can Extend and Replace with style prompt with repeated "male, male" it is best. You can also spam [male, deep, male] in lyrics, but that has less effect, and also if you do it too much Suno may get confused and sing the word male.

Using two voices in a Suno song is possible, but you get complicated problems like this too where Suno uses the wrong voice.

Oh I think I know the problem. It says Upgrade to Pro. You are on a free account. Free account has some free V4 songs but you may be out of V4 songs. If you try V3.5 it may work.

Both user can not generate. But different errors: one is generic "an error occurred" and other is the "too many songs generating at once" error. So maybe not even the same problem. Wish I could help but both may be things only Suno support (email) can fix.

However sometimes one specific song, or one specific prompt, they can get stuck for a strange reason. I think both users already tested this, but for the record, be sure to try a completely new song (not Extend, Cover, etc), use V3.5, and use simple title/style/lyrics that are totally different than what was giving you the error. Just to make sure the problem isn't related to your specific song in some way.

Does anyone else have issues with "overdriven/distorted" audio lately.

I currently try to do more slow, deep ambient and experimental electronic songs and almost every song I generate has a LOT of distorted audio going on.

I know it's not my audio hardware or headset, as the same is quite audible in my cars stereo system which is pretty decent.

Basic work arounds are fine to explore, but for now I am personally not speculating any fixes or reasons for issues until something appears more consistent, even consistent errors of things like distortion or degrading. I just completed a somewhat dreamy pop love song which , in the past one might expect it to degrade or distort and don't feel there is any issues at all.

So, it's just been hard to replicate others problem when it seems there are waves of different issues affecting small populations at a time, periodically and randomly than consistently. Other than one posting their "troubled" song and saying "listen to this and you'll hear it" which only helps if 100 more do the same and I can replicate it.

I can see how this may affect those using Suno in a business capacity. The standard workarounds being using as much credits possible to find pattern which give good results and work up from those to reach your desired result without going over some line where Suno then starts to have altering and unwanted results.

But its also assuming those with business vetures are utilizing DAW as well to clean up many aspects, than relying on AI and beta models only. That would be insane.

As a very general suggestion, ussing Get Whole Song (with extentions) and Covers often enough to try smoothing out overdrives away from getting a degrading sound than the wanted crunchy overtones may be two prominent directions to try. The result may be getting a quite altered song arrangement than originally wanted but a satisfactory one nonetheless to move forward on.

If you're specifically going for a certain song length, then this can be tasking for sure , given the restricted 4 minute time of Covers.

I think there is a priority in the auto-moderator to be strongly filtering form common phrasing often already found in popular artists lyrics. So even a line like " Im here" or "you got me" might get flagged as a restricted "producer tag".

Many have worked around this by slightly changing wording, arrangement, even adding a line space.

At times, too, it could just be a ghost in the machine that doesn't like the fifth word in the second line, so you have to move it to the right two spaces. 🙂 Seriously. That's a thing.

Well, you can't make a persona from an uploaded audio which has recognized "vocals". This will apply to any output in a chain of outputs that go back to the original with an uploaded audio with vocals.

Maybe I misunderstood you problem? So for me, the first replace section went fine, but the Suno was not able to know the song structure anymore, the colored bar with all the tags had just the [end] tag and all the lyrics kind of were in the end of the song, in the bar, I mean. When I created the copy of the song with crop and wanted to use replace section to the copy, lyrics were in correct sections, not in the end and I could replace once, then had to do the copy again to be able to replace more. So, in that case, creating a copy helped. Maybe not in your case.

I had done a bunch of songs with hymns from the 1700s to early 1900s. Then suddenly Suno wouldn't let me use the same lyrics anymore. I engaged support and they said stuff about copyright. I pointed out that there is no copyright and they haven't gotten back to me. The changes were actually progressive i.e. first they wouldn't let me do new songs, then they wouldn't let me cover songs, now they won't let me remaster existing songs. I have downloaded most of them just in case they disappear.

Think of it this way: AIs uses copyrighted material as a form a learning source. What it generates are (typically tweaked to be) nothing very similar or identical to the sources it learned from. This is called a transformative output and what the AIs are claiming allows them Free Use to use those material (the court ruling on this will have a LOT of impact over all industries, not just AI related).

If you used someone else's lyric or song, because of how music AIs work, the end result would be similar to the input. These would be derivative outputs and can make you legally liable and there have been many cases of people getting sued over that

Yes, copyright generally lasts for 70 years after the author's death. For any hymn written in 1700s you can be sure the author died more than 70 years ago. I have had success with the old hymns, by changing the words. More modern words make for better songs anyway, and some old hymns are too wordy or hard to sing. I suggest trying again with modified words, edit the hymns first, make it your own, and make it more modern.

If I understand your question correctly, that you want to know if you need to provide the subscription email confirmation from Pro plan when uploading your song somewhere?
If so, that depends on where you upload it to... Youtube I don't think they'd ask.; for distribution... it also depends on each distribution company... you will have to check with them what they would need or require. Often, all you need is a copy of Suno TOS and proof of subscription that covers the timestamp of the song.

Again, the platform you uploaded it to might have some sort of system to verify, like contentID from Youtube...
As soon as you want to earn revenue with the song, often than not, the account that uploads MUST have all the rights and ownerships, and the platform would have system in place to make sure that is the case.
So... I'm guessing, probably will get copyright strike if it didn't match.

Hey, there seems to be a bug around Replace section generated audio and Workspace. It always creates in default space (My Workspace). Here is how to reproduce it.

1. Go to a workspace (For example: A)
2. Click on Replace section.
   This will open up the replace section.
3. Make an edit and click on Generate.

This will now create the replacement on default Workspace (My Workspace) but not on Workspace A.

Here are the spec:
Firefox Latest (normal edition)
Windows 11

It's a bit hard to tell why exactly this is happening for you. It might be that you are using a genre that often has duets, or the lyrics "look" like a duet (for suno).
I would try what @wet minnow said and describe the original voice a bit in the prompt for the replacement part

Issue 1- When I'm creating a song by uploading a voice, the song is not starting with any music as general but the voice is reading the text (not singing), from the second paragraph music is coming and the voice is getting layered and reverbed and completely changed throughout the song.

Issue 2- I'm using replace section to get a better starting but the results I'm getting is with different voice.

Vishanka got it, when you edit a song once, it kinda breaks it to reedit it twice, doesnt recognise anything, gets lost

Sometimes the video fails to generate, and you get the static picture instead. Open the song's kabob menu, and select Download to open the next sub-menu. It will contain "Video" and "Regenerate Video". If the video wasn't generated, "Video" will be greyed-out. Choose "Regenerate video". Look at the Download sub-menu again in 20-30 seconds. If it still rolls the rolling thing, wait.
